I stoped by here today, while at the valley fair mall, with my friend. My friend was interested in their accessories. I have never been to this store before. They have a nice selection of clothes for the younger generation. They had costume jewelry, purses and makeup. They also had these really cute Diet Coke shaped zip up bags shaped like a Diet Coke, that are supposed to clip onto your purse. It's looks like you can fit a can of soda in it. Currently, Nov 2025 there is a ton of y2k fashion. 4 stars because no one said hi to me, but also the store was kinda messy. Value? The selection of hip and modern clothing and accessories at reasonable prices is a plus, but their service and interior design are not ideal. First off, I know aesthetics are part of the layout of the store, but the way the racks are laid out is not conducive to traffic flow. It's a mess trying to navigate with so many customers around every corner. Fire Marshal Bill would not approve! Secondly, on a busy day during the holiday season, there was only ONE register open, with the line stretching all the way to the front door! And let me tell you... the store is extremely long, so the front door is quite a far distance away! Even worse is that other than the cashier who had to handle everything on her own, the rest of the employees were simply standing around doing absolutely nothing! I wouldn't mind coming back to Urban Outfitters, but definitely on a weekday during the non-busy season. read more

SUPER RUDE CASHIER! It is 3/13/26 and I just left this location after trying on some shorts. For reference I'm about 5'9, 160lbs and I got a size small. When I was checking out, the cashier said "Really? A small?" The cashier was sickly looking, caucasian, about 5'10, long blonde curly hair, wearing a long sleeve. Review is for UO corporate, not necessarily this specific location. This holiday season, you might want to reconsider buying a UO gift card for a loved one. I have a very old gift card and UO updated their system so now I'm unable to get a balance (let alone even use) on the gift card. Spun my wheels going to all sections of customer service hoping to get some answers. While this is a weird situation, no one has been able to help. If I was a big corporation like UO, I'd be like "hey sorry about this, we'll just give you a new gift card in the original stamped amount" and take a gamble on whether or not there was still a balance on my now-defunct gift card that cannot be read. It wasn't even a crazy high amount. Instead, I've basically been left hanging with UO saying "sorry, we can't verify your really old gift card in our system because we changed it but good luck". I went Saturday around 3 pm 9/28 and there were three attendants at the front with one of them helping another customer. The other customer was asking about some birthday discount and the second she walked away, all three attendants were talking shit literally the moment she turned her back. I was in line to return something, and when I went up, and the cashier was super rude, didn't even say hi, no eye contact, didn't tell me how the return process worked, dead quiet the whole time. I asked if I should expect some kind of return receipt or anything because she didn't give any indication that the process was done, and she said no while rolling her eyes like how am I supposed to know how your cash register works????? I would avoid this location to avoid ugly attitudes from ugly people. Also their selection is pretty limited. read more

This place is now located in the mall on the second level by Bloomingdales. Most of the clothing there looks similar to what can usually be found at places like forever21, and Target to a certain degree,. The difference is that everything there costs a lot more. I did see one cute item, but that's it. The selection of household items was nice like usual. There wasn't much to choose from in the jewelery section. Some of the toys looked cute. This place used to carry more unique & cool looking clothing almost 20 years ago, but now it's just an overpriced version of forever21 usually. read more

If you can't fulfill a curbside pickup properly, why do you even offer this option at all? I arrived today at 4:30pm at the curbside pickup location for an online order, the online form for curbside pickup couldn't go through so I try to call the store but no one answers the phone call. I called and called until 5:00pm. This is such a waste of time, it took me a couple hours to choose the items and it supposed to be a gift for a friend that I'm visiting tonight now I'm siting here try to figure out something else I can purchase as a gift. Was trying a few items in store today and my experience with the fitting room was so irritating. I grab 4-5 items from both the regular priced area and also the sale section. Tried them on and decided to keep one from my selection that fits the best, which is also a sale item. I put back the rest of the clothes to the hangers as they asked, returned them to the staff, and told them I'm gonna keep one. As I was walking out, another staff walked into the fitting room area and laughed to their coworker: "the one that's on sale for $9.99 huh?" Excuse me? I'm still here and you're already talking behind my back? Not to mention how rude it is to overhear other's convo and comment on it. Keep whatever thoughts you have in your mind and be professional at your workplace. Everyone works super hard to make a living and we all value stuff differently. If you have a problem with ppl buying on sale stuff, think they're cheap, stop working at a fast fashion chain. Find a job that allows you to sell full price items and live a life that you only purchase full price items. The staff at the cashier are all SUPER nice, they deserve all stars. read more

For some reason UO has been lacking in organization, with in-store sales or without. We get it UO you're located in Santana Row, prices are by default more expensive than one can usually afford. It's become significantly overpriced here which causes me to come in only on if there's a sale or not. The guy section of the store is minimal, I think there's probably more merchandise for books and toys then guy stuff. The women's section is ALWAYS a mess, I guess shopper here are savs. And the merchandise, seems to be lacking in store for some reason and don't even get me started on trying to find sizes for boots/shoes I want. I was actually surprised I was greeted here yesterday, considering I've never met a SA who did anything but ring me up. Pft! If it weren't for the overpriced shipping from ordering on UO online, I'd shop online more often. Woe is me! read more

The clothes and its quality is decent, not that great but what I really like is their cute miscellaneous items such as: bedding, plates, notebooks, notepads, wall hangings, plush toys, and iPhone accessories. There are 2 register island: one upstairs (haven't seen this one opened) and one downstairs. Staff are constantly restocking and/or ringing up the customers to ask what is needed to shoppers and window shopping customers but that's OK because I don't like feeling pressured or watched while I am either shopping or window shopping! The setup of the store is a little off.. some miscellaneous items and vinyls downstairs, purses, sunglasses, necklaces, perfumes, and some clothing (girls') while upstairs carry the same.. adding a men's section to that as well. The clearance area is not that organized but it's a lost cause for most department stores but I was looking at a broken thing they were trying to sell- really? Other than the cute miscellaneous toys and accessories, I would not come here for clothes unless the deal is pretty awesome. Terrible store and business. The last time I was there I spent over a $150 shopping for my daughter. Apparently they ran out of bags and told me after the fact. I saw bags they had for shipping and asked if I could have one to carry all the things we bought as we still planned to walk around the mall. They refused to give me any bag. So here we were walking around the mall with a pile of clothes under our arm. I wrote to the corporate office and never heard back. This business does not care a thing about the customer. Will refuse to shop there (and neither will my daughter and her friends). read more

Me: *blink* *blink* *blink* Can we just get this over with? I like big, comfy underwear. So sue me. When the option arises to have something up my butt all day or not, I proudly choose not. Plus, Urban Outfitters has a great deal on big, comfy undies that come in several neutral colors that don't involve pink and don't take a page from Victoria's Secret and have weird sh*t printed all over them like, 'Do Me' or something about being naughty or nice. That's just not my style. Maybe if they said, 'Go away' or 'No thanks', or even 'I'm dead inside', I'd reconsider, but until then, I'll stick with my plain jane big girl underoos. You might not know this, but UO usually has a great deal on women's underwear where you get 4 really nice second skin type undies at the rate of 4 for $19. As far as women's underwear goes, it's a pretty great deal. I know I'm too old to be shopping at Urban Outfitters and that most people consider the place tasteless and uncool, but I'm from the suburbs so to me it's still some pretty cutting edge stuff so I still shop there and hope that people don't ask if I'm someone's mom when I do. The knick knacks amuse me and I love hipster sh*t so for me it's just fun to see what's up with people who still live at home and can actually afford things in here. I like to cruise the clearance racks and this location has a pretty great entirely separate room dedicated to sale and clearance stuff, though I recommend coming during the week and while school is still in session because after that the median shopper age drops to about 19 and will make you feel like the oldest, creepiest person ever. Especially when you're buying bargain underwear that are so modest that the guy checking you out at the register does not even recognize your items as modern day underwear. read more

I wish they had more home decor options here. It seemed like this Urban Outfitters were more limited than the other ones that I've been to. The customer service here was almost non-existent. I don't know where they were every time I visited this store and they had no greeters to my knowledge. I actually preferred their books and journals over their clothes. They had two floors, 1 and a half of the floors were dedicated for women and the rest was the men's + books and other accessories for the home. I highly suggest checking out their books, they're really cool. I'd love to come back here and buy some of them! read more

I really think this location is for women and then some. And their male counterparts can stop being bored by making circles at the men's section but, It's good to be an informed shopper: Urban Outfitters merchandise, quantity levels, and hours vary from store to store. This location is open from 10am-9pm from Monday to Thursday, 10am-10pm from Friday-Saturday, 11am-7pm to Sunday. Most stores actually close an hour earlier than them during weekends. Before you decide to call ANY U.O. regarding an item you saw on the internet or another location, get specifics! They get shipments from Monday-Thursday, it's hard to keep up with the many "red shirt blouse thing" inquiries. If you saw it online, say so and get the sku # (and tell them you got it there), official name, price, colors, etc. so they can use it to reference it. This is not for their benefit, but for yours! Help them so they can help you more efficiently! They have a relaxed return policy: The return policy is 30 days with your receipt with the original form of payment. Debit and checks are considered "cash" returns. The credit card must be the same as the one originally used. (Last four digits are recorded). Otherwise, it's store credit. If you do not have your receipt, you will be given store credit for the current selling price. Hang on to those receipts, cause they got sales constantly going on! And they have a nice 14 day price adjustment. Just bring the receipt an d they'll refund you that you're owed. Online promotions and prices/sales are different from their stores. If it's not as great as you thought it would be, return it before 37 (the extra 7 is for shipping) days, bring the receipt, forms, the bags it came in, and the credit card you paid with. They have a ginormous women's sale section. Buy it right away if you're tiny (cause they don't carry alot of it), or if you want it NOW, otherwise wait for it to get marked down and hope to god nobody buys it. Most things get marked down (unless it's something really popular), but not immediately. They used to have 50% off marked sale price and ONCE they had a 75% off too...however, they will no longer be doing this. There are constant complaints with merchandise quality and such, and I agree, they've got some whack things going on. But keep in mind that they're a big company and have to outsource vendors to keep up with the supply for 180+ stores. AND not all their shit is they sell is produced or manufactured by them like: Diesel, Jordache, Stussy, Obey, Volcom, etc. And yes, they're expensive. They're always in the know with new designers, magazines, bands, etc. They do collabos with them by having them host bands (locals or not), companies like Yaris, Zune, and Nike. Free gum, free blackhead removers, stickets, etc. They even offer a FREE subscription to Nylon! They don't make commission, they don't tell you what to wear or dictate what your next "image" will be. read more

I've been to this location since the old middle school days but it has always been a store to only window shop in. The clothes are pretty trendy, but aren't the best quality for the price. Sometimes there's maybe one or two items that'll stand out that may be worth the price. The sales rack/corner that is at the back of the store on the second floor makes the clothes more affordable, but this only moves the price + quality of the clothes to maybe only reasonable. Even though I'm not a frequent-shopper here, one of my most recent visits is worthy of a review. . I found a backpack on sale on the online site that had great reviews. I didn't want to purchase a $30 backpack and pay ~$10 for shipping, so I ventured into the store. I spent five minutes to get to the sales section, but was disappointed to see that the item I had wanted was not available. I was about to leave the store empty-handed, when an employee approached me and asked what I had been looking for. Even though the store did not have the item in stock, she made sure I got the backpack. It took more than 10 minutes to ask other employees and such, but finally I was able to place the order through an in-store online service. I received the backpack via mail a couple of days later. I am happy with the purchase and even happier with the customer-service that day :) read more

I recently got into this store so I must say it isn't bad at all. I ordered about 10 things from here at the cost of around $11 each! They were very cute tops and dresses that are trendy and yet comfortable because they are cotton made. I know many people may feel that this store is overpriced and for some things it really is. They do sell many designer items that are ridiculously priced, but then again I love it because you can find a cute $10 shirt next to said $120 gucci white t below ... :) great stuff! read more

Love love love their sales! If you look hard enough and/or have lots of time to spare, the sale section is the place for you! You can end up with some really good finds. Their clothes can be quite out there, but there are a few things I was able to find that I was able to wear to work. It takes some time to try them on, but I think that's all the fun. Sometimes, the sales section can be very disorganized & messy, but on non-busy days (i.e. weekends), it can be really easy to find what you're looking for. For me, I always find things I least expect when I'm not looking for it. It's a great place to come with girlfriends and spend some quality time shopping. I would recommend coming during the weekday because it can be difficult to find parking & there will be too many people around. I really like this place! But as I get older, I find that some styles no longer work for me. It's definitely a place to shop for vacation clothes! read more

Urban Outfitters is such a strange place. Their clothes resemble a person who is easy going and not very wealthy, but the price tag to these clothes can make your eyes pop out of their sockets. My secret weapon to this hip store is the Clearance Rack! Don't fall into the full price trap. There are tons of cute things to buy, just be wise. read more

I love Urban stuff in general. Every piece seems to have so much personality! Yes, it is pricier than what it's worth, but they will often have 10%-20% off online, plus they can have really good deals when their items go on sale. They will also occasionally hold events such as "additional 50% off sale items" or "$5 sales". Their staff is friendly and accommodating as well. If there is an item that you like but your size isn't in stock, they will offer to call up another Urban for you. Also, if you see an item that was cheaper online than in stores, don't hesitate to tell them and they ill price match the online price. I like the sale section here (upstairs) because it's bigger than ones at other Urbans... but that is about it. Everything else is overpriced. They really should get the changing room upstairs open too! But looking at this place in a different frame of reference, this place is one of the few affordable stores at Santana Row so it's nice in that sense. TIP: DO NOT come here for Black Fridays. The place gets EXTREMELY PACKED. I really COULD NOT MOVE ANYWHERE (only free space is the stairs) so it made shopping impossible. I love Urban Outfitters, but I especially love this location because it's in a great spot in Santana Row. If you go to their second floor, there's a wall with all glass windows and it looks out into the little plaza- pretty cool. UO's clothes are always super cute and trendy, but of course expensive. They do have a sale rack in the 2nd floor, and you can find some good deals if you're willing to sort through the packed racks. read more

I think the best time to buy anything from here is if the item goes on sale. The sales area for men's is swamped with a bunch of stuff that I wanted to get in the past season. The sizing doesn't feel all that right though. I normally wear a Large/XLarge in shirts and jackets, but they don't fit me here. If you find something online and you really like it, I suggest going to the store itself and trying it on cause the sizing is kinda weird for a few of the items they sell. The cashiers are nicer than the sales associates that organize the store. I went shopping here a while back with my sister and two of her friends, and we were talking in the 2nd floor where the women's shirts were. This one sales associate (I don't know who he is or what his name was) came up to us and asked if we needed help with anything/if we needed something. He sounded kinda rude with it. I see him often, and he usually doesn't greet me or say anything to me. I would've bought something that day if he didn't say anything to us. I am addicted to Urban. I visit their website every week! Luckily, even though this one is located in snooty Santana Row, they've still got amazing deals in their clearance section. Shoes especially. If you're on a budget, there clearance section is really good for gifts and old seasonal clothes. And if you're just in the neighborhood for a good laugh, their book and audio section is filled with witty books that will entertain the hell outta you. As for the rest of the store, I've rarely found an item I like that is less than $25. It's usually very clean (except for the clearance area, obviously, since we bargain scavengers go through it like vultures). And most of the workers there are pretty helpful. There will always be someone near the front to greet you, which is nice. Even if you're not going to buy anything, I suggest stopping by now and then. I had been wanting to buy the Wu-Tang manual, RZA when it was $20. I waited long enough to find it in the clearance area for $5. I win. :) read more
