Outstanding workmanship. I like dealing with a smaller, locally owed company as well. The install looks perfect and was completed on time.

Justin did a great job, was well priced and very dependable. He even washes windows that we weren't using the sunblocking tint film on.

"My wife and I were looking to replace drab, old-fashion venetian blinds throughout our 2nd home in…read moreAustin, with a contemporary wooden shutter design. We researched numerous Austin window designers on Yelp, BBB, and "Best of Austin" sites, etc., and decided to reach out to DECO Window Fashions after reading rave reviews and testimonials by previous customers. DECO owner, James Covian, responded quickly to our email inquiry and arranged an in-store meeting with one of their "best design consultants, Denise McIntyre." Denise was wonderful - she understood exactly what we hoped to achieve, made specific Hunter Douglas model recommendations, and visited our home to display specific design samples from which we made our selection. She completed measurements, customizing the shutter designs to accommodate specific nuances of furniture and room layout, and wrote up an estimate that included special discounts. The whole sales and order process couldn't have been any easier or more satisfying!!! We're looking forward to our installation and updating our Yelp review in the very near future - thanks greatly James AND Denise - DECO rocks!!!

It looks like Deco Window Fashions stores on Anderson Mill & in Beecaves have closed their doors…read morewithout notifying customers. They stopped opening their doors about 13 days ago. I have 2 window coverings orders with them and waiting to hear status on when they'll be installed. No one from store is returning calls or communicating about what's going on in their stores. I paid them $6,000.00 and I want a refund especially since it looks like your store is having difficulties.

First off, the consult was great, super quick, clear info about what was needed and easy…read morescheduling with zero issues. The guy who did the consultation, Dylan, told me that because of the height of our windows (18 ft) scaffolding would be required and that alone was $300 and they had a company minimum of $399 for any job so the scaffolding would help make minimum. Total job came out to $500 initially but when the guys who did the actual job came out, they took one look and was like "let's just use a ladder" after we cleared everything out for scaffolding. They used a ladder, I pointed out to the company that had scaffolding not been needed I would have just gone with maybe 2 more windows at that height up top getting film to make the minimum rather than be charged for something they didn't actually even use. They told me they understood and going forward would make sure they took that into account for future consults (great for future customers?) and knocked like $100 off, less than what it would have cost me to just get those 2 windows treated minus the scaffolding. Either come back and say "you're right, here are the two windows done for you" or just make an exception for the minimum because you didn't give me the option to choose additional work over scaffolding to make the minimum since the latter was apparently a "requirement" due to the height of those windows. They are lucky they have Dylan as an employee who was just following regulation requirements and is an asset to that company, otherwise I would have taken off more stars. With regards to the work itself, I am happy with the work itself, they do good work. Just, get your story straight about how you charge people to ensure they get the best "bang for their buck" as Savannah mentioned.

First off, I have nothing but good to say about the quality of their work. They even did my job…read moreover from scratch because of a mistake on the install. However, I was blind sided by their terms and financing.. I was told they had 12 month no interest financing. What they did not tell me was that the financing was not through them. It was through a company called Regions financing. We had a 7,500.00 job and we paid half up front. They also did not tell me that it would involve a a hard inquiry on my credit report. This lowered my FICO score by 30 points. My wife and i have a combined income of 200,000.00 and the company wanted pay stubs and rewards letters from my SS and School board retirement account. Screw this, I said. I talked to manager Dylan Gammons who understood my frustration and gave me till the end of the month to pay the balance. They did good work but I felt this financing offer was deceptive. I urged him to inform perspective new customers what was going to happen with the hard inquiry. Once it happens, you cannot take it off and i feel I was had.
