They understood what we wanted and suggested design that would work well. They assisted in choosing cabinetry, flooring and counter tops that all worked well together. Tom came originally to scope out the construction details and what would need to be done ex. vent for stove through attic, sub panel for electric system. Once the construction started Eric was the lead carpenter. He supervised the whole project. He was great. He kept us informed about what was happening when. He also introduced us to each of the sub contractors who came to do work. All were pleasant and professional. They put protective coverings on floors and doorways to limit dust. At the end of each day they cleaned up and vacuumed the work area. When one of the cabinet doors came in the wrong size, there was no question about replacing it. One thing I really appreciated was that construction did not start until they had received all of the cabinets, flooring, countertop etc so work went smoothly and was completed without delays.

We worked with Alyssa to help design everything, something she has great skill and a true eye for detail. She didn't try to push products or oversell us. If anything, she provided some suggestions on how to lower cost (used remnants for the quartz countertop; suggested comparing costs to Home Depot). Once the design was finalized, I was extremely impressed with Eric, the contractor who installed the island himself and oversaw the other contractors. He was excellent communicating with me each and every day. He noticed some inconsistencies in the wood on the cabinet doors of the island and immediately ordered new one (he still installed the original and came a few days later with the new doors). Everything was just so professional. I haven't had too many experiences with contractors in the past, but every one I (and my family, for that matter) have had for the most part have been negative. The project doesn't start on time, finish on time, guys no-show for no apparent reason, etc. This was the opposite. Watch City had the chance to move up the timeline, which fit into my schedule. As a result, the project was done a week early. If you're looking to do any sort of work on your kitchen, definitely give Watch City a look.

Earlier in the year, we had gotten a price from an independent kitchen designer. The price was horrifying. Nearly impossible. I had followed a friend's kitchen renovation on Facebook. Deb invited us to tour the finished room and to explore the many clever features. We promptly booked her designer, Steve Marchese. His design plan sold us. His guidance through many options and his spot-on advice were spectacular. The proposed cost and the final cost of the project were half of the cost from that first designer. Norfolk delivered for their cost estimate. Spot on! Dan Neeland, our project manager was superb. All of the sub contractors arrived oin schedule. They were all polite, professional and a pleasure to have in our home. At he end of the day, all crews left the work area clean and neat, The project finished on schedule. We are thrilled beyond words.

First, our designer lost the design plans and tried to cover it up. This caused us to have to try to re-remember items that we had discussed prior. For example, we asked for no spice rack, then we get a spice rack, so we then had to improvise once the project was underway. Completely incompetant...no apologies, and our designer clearly didn't listen the first time, take notes, and honestly just didn't care at all about us. We should have known then, next time we will just walk away..... Next, our contracter was a complete joke. Never inspected the site for follow up / punch list items. Eletrical and Floor contracters were sub par, we still have a light switch that doesn't work properly. They destroyed our dining room floors relocating our refridgerator, with no full repair, just a touch up that looks like crap. They also damaged our mudroom floor and apparently have no idea how to fix what they broke, so I now have a gap in my floor that has never been addressed. Lastly, they never finished the final revisions to the trim. I told this clown several times what we needed to tidy up on, and several times never receieved follow up. In other cases, he did not properly relay instructrions to the sub contractors, so twice we had cabinet / trim people show up without the necessary materials to tidy up. The cabinent / trim guys were the only bright spot in an otherwise horrible experience. I truly felt bad for Bud and Shawn as their time was wasted by our General Contractor. As it stands now, almost 6 months since we were suppossed to be "complete" and zero follow up. I am embarrased to have people show up with incomplete instructions, and our general contractor has not visited the kitchen to address anyting since NOVEMBER of last year. Do not go with this place, over budget, zero follow up, horrible design team, bad sub contractors. Complete waste of time, and we never got the satisfaction of a final, complete, project....

They replaced it but it has cracked in the exact same places again. In researching, granite, if properly installed, should last 20+ years and is the most durable for harsh NE winters. I'm very very frustrated and disappointed that my granite was not properly installed by SMB and when I reached out to ask them to remedy the situation was unfortunately not offered any. I will have to seek out a different and more qualified granite installation company.

The sales department was very helpful however the service department is unable to service NH fireplaces. The service department is not able to answer calls so you do have to wait for a return call. I had called and had to wait days only to hear that they never got my message. I did call the owner, Corey, who called me back and heard my concerns around the service department communication. I will say that every person that CFC has been sent to my house was courteous and knowledgeable however getting in touch with them to schedule a visit was more effort than expected.

I am a homeowner I purchased custom cabinets through my Contractor Kendrick home improvement. I paid for delivery upon delivering the cabinets. The delivery people drop the Cabinet. Then they banged the face of it up, chipping it upon refusing to sign for it and requesting the call the main office they told me my builder, I could fix it and still pay full price. They also ordered the wrong. Base Cabinet and told me that not every kitchen needs a silverware drawer again I called and spoke to the manager who had zero customer skills. Call me a liar and said I was trying to rip them off for a lousy $300 Cabinet the poor Contractor did his very best to argue with this company on my behalf heard this conversation and asked him why are we doing business with such a ridiculous outfit and instead of making it right they took the cabinet that they damaged back to their warehouse on Friday night took some paint and touched up the chips put glue all over the dovetail because the face of it was coming off and shipped it back and said that's the best they could do. Remind you now these are custom cabinets again. I had the poor Contractor call the so-called manager back today and he called the Contractor a liar after I sent them pictures of the damage to the cabinets and that they will not help me any further so the builder, said I am gonna do whatever it takes to make it right for my client and I'm totally fine with it because it's not about the money but I would not recommend this company to build me a birdhouse so if you're in need of kitchen cabinets or flooring stay away from GF kitchen and bath in Quincy mass because they are ripoffs and they have crappy service and all I can say if you're a contractor and you run into this issue, please take care of the customer like my Contractor did there is just so many people trying to rip off the consumer. I'm so glad Kendrick home improvement did the right thing and took care of us I'd like to give a shout out to the owner, Simon Kendrick of Kendrick home improvement in Harwich, Massachusetts for looking out for the homeowner and not his own pocket. I would highly recommend Kendrick Home improvement. They are very honest and reputable. Great service quality work and they look after their clients.

Really appreciate both Kelard and Yola for their hard work and detail! They would call me all the time with updates on different part/product, delays, which we really needed to hear through the remodeling process. Also, Kelard helped give me advice for a friend of mine in Los Angeles that burnt his marble counter with a hot cooking pan. He gave me what a normal buffing job estimate would be in a big city after looking at my friend's photos. Really kind of him.
