Pad Prik King -- ordered extra spicy but it wasn't. Tasty enough, though.

Went here with friends and it was fine. The inside of the restaurant was quiet and pleasant. The food was decent -- not special in anyway but good enough. Service was kind and accommodating. Parking was free on the street -- always appreciated. Bottom line: Probably about average for Thai food in Vancouver but I would consider it if I were in the neighborhood. Not likely to make a special trip out to find it.

Traditional authentic Thai dishes ... Modern Thai décor interior and wine bar. They have impressive dishes and drinks. We had : Red Curry Roasted Duck -Tender Roasted duck with red curry, coconut milk, lychee, diced pineapples, grape tomatoes and fresh Thai basil (Touch of Spice)! I personally love the bold flavor! 3 Flavored Black Cod - Layers of 3 flavors : Spicy, sweet and sour grilled black cod with diced pineapples, bell peppers, fresh Thai basil and seasonal vegetables. Highly recommended! We also tried these authentic signature Thai dishes, The aroma and the taste was impressive! Chili Basil Chicken Wings Stir Fried Garlic Broccoli Stir Fried Eggplant Beef Noodle Soup with super tender beef brisket cooked in 5 spice broth!

Recently I went for brunch with my family for Father's Day and we had a great time. We all ordered different brunches. My brother and dad got the French omelettes, my mom the quiche Lorraine, my sister the carbonara and myself the mushroom egg tart. We all really enjoyed our dishes. Mine was light, fluffy, flakey and bright with a perfectly cooked soft poached egg. It's a clean feeling breakfast. My sister's carbonara was a proper carbonara (made with egg yolks) it was really savoury and a touch too salty for me but I enjoyed a taste of it. We also ordered the basque cheesecake. I've noticed more and more basque cheesecakes on menus but very rarely do restos do it right. I was looking for a gooy-er lighter but full cheese flavoured basque and unfortunately this just doesn't hit the mark - it's a bit dense and lacks that rich cheese flavour. It was a miss but everything else was great including the service. We had many attentive waitresses from the bar staff to the floor staff and had some great convos with them. This is a staple for the neighborhood and I wish we had more places like this!

We recommend making a reservation in advance, especially if you're planning a dinner visit. We like that they have a regular menu plus seasonal dishes, so there's always a reason to come back and try something different. Our biggest food highlights were the Corn & Mascarpone Pasta from the seasonal menu and the chocolate dessert. The pasta was definitely one of those dishes we kept hearing people talk about, so we had to try its seasonal version with lighter, slightly sweet cream. After trying it ourselves, we totally understood the hype. It was creamy and comforting, but somehow didn't feel too heavy. The chocolate dessert was another favourite. We loved the combination of chocolate and hazelnut, such a nice balance, and thankfully, it wasn't overly sweet. The best part was watching them pour the Frangelico liqueur crème anglaise over it. It was such a fun way to finish the meal. And we can't forget the cocktails. These are definitely not your basic drinks. The cocktail menu is creative, with interesting combinations and flavours. We'd recommend taking your time looking through the menu, because several drinks caught our attention. We also really liked the atmosphere. The dining room feels cozy and intimate, so we think June is a great spot for date night, a celebration, or just an adults' night out. Overall, June feels like a place we'd go when we want more than just dinner. They have good food, creative cocktails, a great atmosphere and a night out all in one. We'd definitely come back, especially to see what's on the next seasonal menu. Food: 5/5 Must Try! Service: 5/5 Kids: 1/5 Kids are welcome during earlier dining hours, but there are dining restrictions, so this is definitely more of an adult-focused spot. Presentation: 3/5 Parking: Metered street parking is available throughout the surrounding Cambie Street neighbourhood. Tips: * Reservations are highly recommended. * Bring your physical ID. There is an age restriction later in the evening. * The outdoor patio is also available when the weather is nice. Would I Return: Yes ‍

We had a couple appetizers, veggies, salads, mains, and desserts, all for sharing. Here are the highlights: - the June brioche and its honey butter was amazing bread. They serve it together with the pasta for Rachel whose flavours were sublime and in its unique shape. The brioche goes well with the pasta sauce. - truffled eggs were really good - crab dip with spiced madeleines was so unique and really good. - hamachi crudo was sublime. Flavours so so good. - roasted scallop was one of the highlights. The crunchy top combined with roasted flavour and the sauce it comes in - just so so good. - crispy eggplant I liked. Especially served with tomato puree. - the seared trout was really tender and the veggies it comes with complement excellently - the ribeye was amazing - the beignets and that chocolate mousse were fine. Actually the mousse was so light and good - and I hate chocolate! The only things I thought were just ok were the croquettes and the trout rilette. Highly highly recommended for all occasions especially special ones.

UBC has changed QUITE a lot since i was in school but that's...another story for another time. underground parking was easy to find and it is free but you have to make sure that you give your plate to the host - there are signs in the lot so you can't miss it. we were greeted by the host and taking to our seat no problem - we were in a booth right in front of the bar so i got to see all the diff liquors and wines that they had. we had made our reso so that we can hit happy hour - i went with my usual g&t, a had the house white and s double-fisted (LOL) - hot cross fun to start then the house white as her 2nd. i had a sip of s' cocktail - autumn-vibes tho we all would have liked it to be a bit more spiced. we have a few appies on happy hour - oyster motoyaki, chicken wings and shishito peppers. the oysters - a don't do raw so this was the next best thing - were fresh and i liked the added touch of the wakame salad on the bottom. it was a nice surprise - sweet, sour, and a bit of chew added to the dish. the the chicken wings were HOT when they came out - as in temperature, which meant that they were first. they were juicy, crispy and perfect! you also get quite a few for the price you pay so def plus there. the shishito peppers were also a hit - blistered with the right amount of char! then came the main attraction - the steelhead trout that was shared among the 3 of us. it was def enough food given you get a green salad, warm potato salad, and mushrooms&greens as sides. there was a little mishap with the trout that was rectified right away. besides that, the trout was flaky and well-seasoned. we devoured that as well as the sides - we all LOVED the warm potato salad with the gherkins in it. the gherkins added a bit of crunch and tartness to the course - helped to cut the richness. the mushroom and greens - i loved the sauce that it was in (likely butter but hey yolo)! to rectify the mishap, the restaurant was nice enough to comp us a dessert - again, mistakes do happen and i wasn't asking it as i only wanted to provide feedback but here we are. we chose the applewood - an interesting twist to the normal apple tart. you have to get a bite of everything to REALLY appreciate this one all in all, i can see why this place was michelin recommended. it is def a bit of trek but something to keep in mind for that special occasion!

The menu changes constantly depending on what is fresh and in season. Take a look at my photos on this page to see the range. Last night an heirloom tomato and onion salad tasted like the last of summer exploding in our mouths. There are usually 4 - 6 different fresh pastas to choose from. We shared a halibut with tomato one and bolognese last night. These pastas are the definition of al dente. No place in Vancouver does it this well. There is an extensive wine list sure not to disappoint and make sure to start or finish with a cheese or two. The parmesan is mind blowing perfection. They don't take reservations and this outstanding restaurant is quite small and busy so be prepared for a wait. If you are going with a group larger than 2, the La Querica side does take reservations and I've found that to be an equally exceptional option. Just a little more casual on the L'ufficio side.
