It was 4 of us and we got a table right away without a reservation on a Saturday afternoon. Their ambiance is sheek and minimalistic! A good place to relax with friends, it's definitely more of a cafe vibe. You have to go upfront to place your order and then take a seat. We ordered their shakshuka from their brunch menu - it was pretty good! The sourdough bread was amazing!! We also got their chicken sando which came with buttermilk chicken, salad, and pickles. Really liked it!! Would recommend :)

I think I paid almost $27. I was really not impressed. The nugs. Tasted great. Half was still luke warm INSIDE the potatos so I'm guessing re heat on the pan etc. half hot. Half sorta warm. The bacon. Can anyone complain about bacon? It was great. The eggs... I liked the eggs but I wish they threw that on top of the bread. Because a wooden fork that doesn't pick up nothing. It was a mess to get the sunny off the take out container bottom. Otherwise the eggs was great. The toast... well I wasn't a fan of it. Maybe if it had been packed on the side in a bag I might of. I don't know. It wasn't great and it tasted sweet cuz of the salad they put on the other side of the bread in the box. I didn't like the salad. I don't like sweet salads and the dressing ruined the bread. Yep so the salad. The ingredients in the salad was fine. I just didn't like the dressing. Had this been dressing on the side I would have liked the salad. The avocado. I paid $3 for half an avocado. I wouldn't so much complain about that. If the whole meal itself wasn't such hit and miss. But overall. $27 including a $3 tip I was not impressed for what I got. And I'd dare say the highlight was the potatos even though half of the wasn't even hot. I would of really enjoyed the eggs if there was a way to get them on the toast (without the dressing contamination) without the egg breaking before I could get it on the toast (sunny side up) While I work practically next door, I can't say I would do this order again. Service was fast. For take out. Less than 10 mins. But I think I'd of prefer to wait 2 more mins if the potatos would of been reheated through

A big thank you to Mallory and the kitchen staff! This review is 3 months late, but even a few months later, we remember our meal like it was yesterday and can't wait to return the next time we're in Vancouver. Getting to experience a Michelin Guide-recommended vegan restaurant was one of the highlights of our trip! We had (from the June 2025 menu): the Bread, the Broccolini, the Chickpea Tofu, and the Potato Cavatelli. Not a single crumb, morsel, drizzle of sauce, or even pea was left on the plates! Every bite was so full of flavor and decadent, we were so sad when the meal was over ;) The stand-out though was the Chickpea Tofu, the best tofu we've ever had and it seemed to just melt in your mouth. We also loved sitting at the bar that overlooks the open kitchen. They offer those seats for guests who want a more immersive, interactive dining experience. It was really cool to watch the chefs create each masterpiece. Overall a truly memorable and delicious experience!

Broccoli and zucchini had such amazing sauces on them and OMG spaghettini was phenomenal. MUST order Service was pleasant and quick! They helped with suggestions and I appreciated the explanation when each dish came out. Lovely space inside and had a nice little corner to carry on lovely conversation. Would go back again -- and soon! They change their menu every few weeks.

I loved all of the food, but my favourite was the lamb in the dips. We started with the hummus as an appetizer, which was creamy and flavorful. I also ordered a drink from their 1001 Nights menu, and the presentation was so cute--it actually came in the form of a little storybook, which was such a fun and unique touch! For our main dishes, we ordered the salmon skewers and kofta skewers. Everything was incredibly flavorful, well-seasoned, and cooked nicely. The flavors really stood out and made the meal memorable. The service was initially great, and our waiter was very kind and attentive. However as time went on sadly we felt like we had gotten forgotten and we had to remind another waiter to bring our food. They also brought me the wrong dish although I had ordered the salmon skewers so we had to wait for that a bit. The main food sadly was not as flavorful as the appetizer and the drink although the presentation was good. However the manager was kind and apologized and brought us a complimentary Dubai dessert which again had a great presentation but was too sweet for my taste. I will still give this a place a shot in the future.

They mainly serve teishoku and kamameshi sets. You pick your protein in the teishoku set and it comes with rice, miso soup and some sides. You can add add-ons like furikake, onsen egg. The kamameshi is a pot of mixed rice. I over heard from the next table that their mackerel dishes are really good so I ordered a miso mackerel even though I am not a fish bone person. My miso meckerel set came and I was quite surprised that the portion is so big. The set came with one whole fish. It is quite good value for $28. It I tried my friend's mirin meckerel and I liked the mirin one better. The mirin one has a sweetness to it and it doesn't have that fishy taste. My miso meckerel tasted light and the miso didn't cover the fishy flavor. My other friend ordered a yuzu mackerel hishimabushi. This option has no bones! I should have gone with one. Overall, aside from fish bones, the food is really good. We ended the meal with some hojicha pudding. That felt like a reward for picking out all the fish bones. The restaurant isn't that big so reservation is definitely recommended. There are free street parking after 6 pm.

We ordered 2 grilled fish set: the mirin marinated mackerel and teriyaki marinated yellowtail. Both were very well cooked! meat was so tender without over-cooked. We updated one of the set to the uni and snowcrab kamameahi set. The uni butter and the snow crab went very well together and lots of crab meat too. We tried the black cod and shrimp croquette. I am usually not a super big fan of croquette because of the texture. But the amount of fish and shrimp in these croquette were generous which gave them a very nice texture. We also ordered the chicken nanban. The amount of the batter was perfect without making an overly thick layer on the chicken thigh. The addition of egg pieces to the tartar sauce gave a nice kick to the texture The only minor downside was the side spinach salad. The salad was a bit dry on all of the sets. But taste was good. i would give a 4.5 star if there is 0.5 star
