This is my go to Laundromat. Its clean, the people are nice and I feel safe there. I love that you can use an app to pay so you don't have to deal with quarters and the fact it is 24 hrs is a huge plus for me given the crazy hours I work. The only drawback I can see is that if the tutoring place or the restaurant next door are busy parking can get tricky but outside of that it great. read more

I had a great experience here! It wasn't busy at all when I came in and the washers and dryers were very easy to use. Not sure why, but mobile pay wasn't working for me but they have a coin machine. yeah that must be it.... the customer isn't smart enough to operate your machines. Considering there were only three settings for each water temp. gentle, normal, and quick wash, except for hot, which had a heavy duty setting the other temps didn't have... and larger machines for larger loads... not sure how that would stop your machines from spin out the water. Its understood that running a business nowadays is very hard, and that to survive requires becoming more "creative ", but implying that your customers are too dumb or unsophisticated to operate your machines properly instead of taking responsibility yourself is pathetic, and sad. read more

This place is gotta be the biggest load of BS I've ever fucking encountered for a 24 hour laundromat. First of all, they said that someone would be on site there's not. If there is they're asleep because nobody's answering the door. Nobody's there. One guy did come in and I asked him if I could use the restroom or rather if he knew where the guy was so I can find out where to use the restroom he said yeah they don't do that here and like laughed and he's like yeah after 10 PM they don't do that. OMG I came from North Pasadena and it is well worth it! The dryers work & are reasonable. Compared to all the facilities I've gone to locally in Pasadena. While the attendant was there (he leaves around 10ish) he was amazing. All over any issues. I had 2 washing machines stop working but he helped me switch, he paid for the new machines and while my detergent/borax/water softener was much more $ he offered me his or the stores detergent. MUCH more than I've experienced at any other laundromat. Where I lost money and no body was there to refund my money. The machines are kept up and are a great variety and the dryers really work! It's worth the drive to have my peace of mind. I really like this place & honestly recommend it! read more

Wow, I had the kindest interaction with an employee here! I did not have any cash and I was unable to download their laundry app and the woman behind the counter gave me enough coins to wash and dry a load of laundry out of her own pocket. I had gone to 2 other places that had cash only so I looked up a cashless laundromat and I came here. I'm only in town for a few days visiting my dad in a long term care facility and helping my mom. This woman has no idea what she did for me, reminding me of the good and generosity that exist in this world. I will pay it forward!!! read more

I found this laundromat on Yelp after my washer died in the middle of the spin cycle, leaving me with a gigantic load of soaking wet sheets and towels. I lugged my laundry to my car, popped over to Urban Wash and found a true gem of a laundromat. It features super large washers, ranging from $4 for the Triple Load, all the way up to $10 for the Mega Load (8 loads! It's enough make one foreswear either whites or darks. Imagine, only having to do one albeit gigantic load on laundry day for the rest of your life....) Regarding pandemic hygiene: free hand sanitizer is available, it's super clean, and complimentary gloves are provided. Well I usually don't need to go to the laundromat, however our washer decided to die last week and I had a rug that needed washing. So I was very happy to go here and felt like that it was safe and clean and this was still during the covid days. The change machine was working just fine and it was great that they had a special "rugs and pet" washing machine. So perfect for me. I waited for someone's load to finish and washed my rug. It cost $5.00 to run the machine, and it was well worth it. Seems like a nice, clean place with easy parking out front, nice crowd there too. read more

Absolutely love this place! First of all, this laundromat is open 24/7, so you can do your laundry whenever YOU can get to it! And it's in a safe area! Secondly, it's well lit, well maintained & CLEAN! Boy oh boy, is it clean- doesn't look dingy at all. There's a sweet old man who cleans/disinfects at night, which he also monitors the place so I like to tip when I have extra. Not only is the space well maintained, they have a bathroom! And you guessed it, it's SUPER CLEAN! [ I was so impressed I took pictures of the inside of their restroom ] But you can tell they value the services they offer because the machines are well-maintained too! Which they have the traditional white top-loading machines but I haven't used those so I'm not sure what tender they take. Although most people use the side-loading machines, they have an array of machines that offer a variety of load (2, 3, 4 & 6) capacity which offer 9 wash-settings. AND you can pay by the **PayRange app or coins. They even have one of their 6-load washers reserved for the really gross stuff that you may not want to wash with your clothes & bedding, e.g. like dog or animal bedding or rugs. The dryers are huge and only take quarters so make sure you bring some: 1 quarter buys you 8 minutes & there's 3 temperature settings, so one mega load usually takes about 32 minutes on medium, a little longer on the lowest setting. There are tables for folding but with the pandemic, it's suggested you fold at home, if can. When there's few people there, they don't mind you doing your folding there. Speaking of occupancy, one of their COVID-19 safety measures is only ten people in the building at once & they usually keep the doors open for good ventilation. But I've been there many times at different hours and there's usually no more than 7 people during their busiest hours. But try to keep your washing party small, at least inside the building- no need to bring the whole family inside to watch you do laundry! There are also gridded carts to lug your washable from your car, to the washers, to the dryers then back to your car. If you happen to forget coins or detergent, softener, etc., don't fret, they have 2 change-machines and also sell washing supplies there! They do have an ATM machine but it's currently out of order. [ As of 28 Jan 2021 ] **The PayRanger app is nice because you can load as much money you need and it also notifies you when your wash cycle is complete. Also, they have WiFi! I had a weird issue with the app/machine I used to wash my clothes where after it had completed the wash cycle, it somehow started a new cycle without my input to do so. So once it started there was nothing to do but wait til it went through an entire second wash cycle. Luckily my clothes werent delicate and were ok after. I was looking for one that was open 24 hours a day and had good Wifi and I decided to try out Urban Wash. (I think on Google it's called Wishy Washy Coin Laundry.) This place is awesome. I usually go in the evening and it's never too crowded. There's a huge size selection of washers and the wifi is great so I can work while cleaning my clothes. No hot water is coming out of these machines!? Six load number #8 needs to be checked. Washing white towels and only cold water was filling the tub. Open the top detergent loader and put your finger when the water is running. It was cold water when I clearly pushed the heavy/hot water cycle. read more

There was an attendant sitting crossed armed watching, not even cleaning as people hogged dryers. My loads were done washing and there were no dryers available. Any that came up sere immediately taken by someone quicker or sneakier than me. I get it. You are entitled to dry your clothes but drying 3 garments in 4 separate dryers while there are people waiting is inconsiderate. so now i have to take my wet clothes and try to find another place to dry them. So annoying. If you don't have capacity to dry, the stop allowing people to wash. Its illogical to have a bunch of people with piles of wet clothes fighting for 5 dryers read more

So I just did my laundry here lastnight as I usually do and have done for years since I was a kid I went with my mom and no issues. This time one of the washers that's $5.50 for the load to wash ended up going through the whole thing without water somehow and when it stopped it said out of order on the machine yet when I loaded it up and put my money it didn't say that. (Check the cameras if ya don't believe me) There should be an attendant overnight for such issues when people go overnight to do their laundry cuz it's too busy during the day. I did laundry this afternoon between 11:30am and 1:20pm. I'm a regular customer and it's a usual day for me. After I did my laundry I immediately left and drove home, while I'm driving, I noticed that my wallet wasn't in my pocket. I hurriedly went back to the laundry mat and look for my wallet, a gentleman approached me and noticed that I'm in distress. I was about to ask him if he saw a wallet somewhere in the laundry room, he smiled and immediately directed me to the laundry mat office and called the attention of the laundry staff. The lady laundry staff approached me and told her I left my wallet, the gentleman also explained in Arminian dialect that I'm the owner of the wallet (I assumed), the lady staff acknowledged that I was the owner because she told me she remembered me sitting on the bench where she found my wallet. She went to the office and handed me my wallet. She asked me to look inside my wallet if everything was there, I did take a looked and saw everything was safely inside my wallet. I thanked the gentleman and the lady laundry staff who are very nice and accommodating. This laundry mat is very clean, safe and has honest staff and customers. I highly recommend this laundry mat. Our stay in CA was extended and we needed clean clothes. Found Urban Wash on Yelp and decided to try it because of the 5 star rating. It did not disappoint. I dropped off clothes for Wash and Fold service. The woman who works there is lovely and despite being busy said my laundry would be ready the same day. When I picked up the clothes (t-shirts, underwear) they were clean and carefully folded. I had expected my husband's shirts to be folded but I was pleasantly surprised when she brought them to me on hangers. The price was reasonable, the laundromat is very clean and I would go back.
