HORRIBLE quality flowers!! See the image. I ordered the Lola for a friend's wedding. I ordered them a week in advance and I got a notification that they shipped out the day prior to the expected delivery date. On the day they arrived, NONE of them were bloomed. I thought that was okay as long as when they bloom they would be beautiful. Well, look at the picture and you decide. They're wilty and brown on the edges. My friends routinely take care of houseplants (successfully!) So it's not them. This was also taken a week after they were supposed to have been delivered and as you can see, there are many that have not bloomed. SAVE YOUR MONEY and go elsewhere for your flowers. So, when you order "box" flowers you have to be very flexible in your expectations and understand that there are delays, etc. that can occur. I have used several flower companies similar to UrbanStems (BloomsyBox, Bouqs) and was hopeful that my experience would be better. What tends to happen more times than not, is that you pay a lot of money for flowers that do not last very long. I ordered an arrangement from UrbanStems - The Firecracker, $70. It arrived on time but when I opened the box at least 4 of the stems blooms were broken off and there was no moisture on the stems to help them during transit so the flowers were struggling. Additionally, it was a very small arrangement for $70 (plus shipping) that had zero scent. I get overhead and all that but this arrangement was at best a $25 arrangement. Once I got them prepped per the instructions and in water, it was a sad bouquet. It lasted all of 3 days and had to be tossed. When I provided feedback that was solicited, a customer service rep reached out -- the BEST part of this company - and was amazing. She arranged, without photos of this arrangement, to send me a replacement bouquet upgraded (she even tossed in a votive candle) - the Canary. Well, when I received the bouquet -- again it had stems where the blooms were broken off (I took pics this time), no scent and lasted 2-3 days before everything was drooped over. The positives of this company is their customer service, it really almost makes me want to order from them again -- as it is clear they really do care. Unfortunately, the quality I received in both arrangements is not worth the 'sticker price'. You truly are better off if you are buying for yourself to go to the grocery store floral section and make your own arrangement for a fraction of the price. read more

I ordered sympathy flowers and paid almost $130. They received 2 individual wrapped bouquets like the ones you buy at a grocery store or on the side of the road. Some flower were wilted. For $130 I expected to have at least a better quality and presentation. I contacted customer service and they offered 20% off next order. That was a joke.... I will never order from them again! I ordered an arrangement to be delivered to a friend and was notified on the day of scheduled delivery that they were unable to deliver the arrangement. In that same notification, Urban Stems notified me of an updated delivery date. Upon checking with the recipient's household member, the alternative delivery date that was offered was not going to work. I called their customer service line to set up alternative delivery. I called around 10pm PT not expecting to receive a response until the next day; however, was pleasantly surprised when Angel, from their customer service team, contacted me after 5-10 minutes to obtain information as to when I wanted the delivery to happen. It was a bit cumbersome due to some unforeseen circumstances outside of Urban Stems' control; however, their customer service and resolution was top notch which ultimately made the process and experience a positive one. read more

I ordered a bouquet for same day delivery. They arrived on time and the delivery person texted to let my daughter know they were there. The delivery person waited outside the licked condo building until my daughter retrieved them to make sure they were not stolen. I write this review for the sole purpose of hopefully saving someone from wasting their time, money, and special event. In summary, this company is unreliable and unprofessional. I've ordered 2 times from them -- would be once but they forced me to get credit for their first mishap -- and both times have been unbelievably bad. The first order was for my wife's birthday and was not only delivered to the wrong address (dropped off a day later by a Good Samaritan neighbor) but also completely wrong (some cheap grassy arrangement instead of peonies). They issued me a credit which I foolishly tried to use a year later (wife's birthday and peonies again). This second time, they delivered nothing. I placed this order weeks before the delivery date and it was radio silence through delivery date. They messaged a day AFTER the delivery date to say that the farms were extremely delayed and I wouldn't be receiving the peonies for awhile, so instead would I want some hackneyed (non-peony) alternative arrangement. I'm just incredulous at this point. I just hope that sharing my garbage experience prevents any other person from similar pain and frustration. read more

They told me their policy was not to replace that particular vase....what kind of customer service is that....NONE. Ordered peonies from here twice. Followed their instructions perfectly both times. Peonies never bloomed and turned brown on day 1. I waited a week and nothing. Followed the instructions on their page for taking care of peonies and nothing worked either time. Trader Joe's peonies lasted 2 weeks and these didn't make it a day. Contacted support just to inform them and they said "Unfortunately, because it has been over a week since your order was delivered, we can't guarantee the quality of the delivery. If I could leave zero stars, I would! I ordered flowers on January 13th to be delivered on valentines day and received a receipt sent to my email. The website claims you will receive another email with a tracking number so you know the status of your order typically the day befor delivery. February 13th passes and no email or communication is received. Get through half of Valentines Day and still no communication relaying the status of my order. I eventually decided to reach out to the care team via email as intstructed on the website, but hours go by and still no response. Call the 1-800 number on the website, which is clearly an outsourced call center, and I finally work my way to someone that says the order is waiting for pick-up but does not provide any additional information. His solution was to wait until 7pm and call again if the flowers still were not received. So I sit with my wife until 7pm at her office waiting, and no flowers came. I called the same 1-800 number at 7pm as instructed during our drive to dinner and no one ever answered. Such a scam. Will continue to try and recoup the $128 i wasted on this nonsense, as I won't be able to recoup the wasted day. EDIT: They reached out via email and issued a full refund, so I added a star to the review. read more

To begin, I have placed a few ordered with UrbanStems in the past and had pretty good results. The "double" bouquets arrive separately bundled which is slightly annoying but quality was o.k. overall. Unfortunately, the flowers I ordered for my beautiful Wife for Mothers day arrived in extremely poor condition- they appear to have had been left in a hot truck with other heavy items on top of them or something. Almost every flower and leaf was crushed. Also the flowers were not as abundant as pictures on the website. To top it off, the vase recommended on their website was not large enough to accommodate the flowers, even though there were less than there should be. "O.K." I thought, you can't always get it right with this sort of thing. I figured I would reach out to the customer service department to help resolve the issue. Nope. I emailed them the day of the delivery but no response for 2 days. I tried again early the next week and still so response. I called and was directed to what seemed very much to be an overseas call center where the people there act very concerned but can't actually do anything to help- they asked that I email them again with pictures and assured me they would escalate and follow up. Since there had been no response to my previous 2 email attempts I asked her to email me something I could reply to. She did and I replied within 5 minutes. Still no response the following day so I called again. Call center again. This person said they couldn't see my emails and asked me to email again. I did this and she asked me to try again later to follow up with them. I explained that since after they messed up my order, I had made 6 attempts (including this call) to contact them for resolution, to no success. I asked for her instead to have them reach out to me with a resolution (or options) by the following day. Today is that day. Instead of solutions, I received an email to review their Customer service response from my first email to them which I still have not received any response to. I replied and let them know about the situation. I give up. It was over $200 but not worth the aggravation giving them any more opportunities to fixt the issue (or even reach back out to me- in ANY way at all). Hope this review may save others the trouble. If you want to order flowers, I recommend you consider finding another solution. read more

The flowers arrived the day (today 5/13/24) after and the delivery person just left them on my doorstep never bothered to ring doorbell. I was home all day and could have answered the door. This is Miami and 90° outside and they don't even bother to ring doorbell for someone to retrieve the flowers. Terrible service from start to finish. Do not bother. Order from a local company. Reply to Customer Service who is probably a bot. I have sent an email to ask your company to reimburse my daughter for the entire amount of what she spent. I don't want replacement flowers. So far another bot has answered the email without any personalized information. SHOULD BE ZERO STARS My children sent me flowers for Mother's Day from your company URBAN STEMS although I had no way of knowing who they were from as there was NO NOTE WHATSOEVER attached. I had to start embarrassingly phoning people to see if they sent the flowers. I was able to determine that my daughter and son sent them. On top of that the flowers were wilted and actually dirty looking. They were some of the worst flowers I have ever received. Several of them broke mid stem as soon as I attempted to put them in a vase. They seemed to be on death's doorstep; However the most upsetting thing is that I had no idea who they were from. The special note my children instructed to be sent with the flowers was not included. Honestly, the note was more important than the actual flowers. When I told my daughter about this she was understandably upset. She went to the trouble of spending a good deal of money on flowers from a company I IRONICALLY had recommended to her on a prior occasion. To make the entire situation worse (if that was even possible) my daughter contacted Urban Stem's customer service to let them know of her dissatisfaction with the quality of the flowers and, more importantly, the omission of the essential and very important gift message. The whole experience was ruined for both her and I. What really sealed the disastrous experience was the uncaring, incompetent, inconsiderate, terrible response of your customer service associates. My daughter went back and forth with them and was repeatedly told in so many words that it was too bad, they really didn't believe nor care that the flowers were poor quality and they REALLY DID NOT CARE that the note was left out of the order. They refused to offer a refund of any kind and went so far as to say that they would give her 10% off her next order. HOW INSULTING. Not only did they do nothing to remedy the current situation but their only solution was to force her to purchase MORE FLOWERS from your company in order to receive a paltry 10% discount. I advised her to refuse their future purchase offer discount because SHE WILL NEVER USE URBAN STEMS AGAIN AND NEITHER WILL I. I will make sure everyone we know is informed of what a TERRIBLE COMPANY Urban Stems is and recommend that they all steer clear of ever doing business with you. instead of your "happiness team" doing their job and rectifying YOUR MISTAKE, they have only succeeded in alienating dozens of current and potential customers. You should be embarrassed to send such awful looking flowers and even more embarrassed to leave out the most important part-the identity of the sender and their message for the recipient. I will be posting this review on google, yelp and anywhere else I can find so that I can save other people from wasting their money on half dead flowers sent anonymously.
