it's so not cool that there isn't a time listed on the website regarding deliveries. originally i was told by an employee that they delivered until 9- so when I goth the phone call at 8:45 that they would not be delivering my order(placed at 8:20ish) i was suprised that they stopped taking orders at 8:30. had I known earlier - i would've just driven over. fast forward to tonight- still NO TIME LISTED FOR DELIVERY ORDERS- I place a crazy quick order- in by 8:09- and get a phone call 10 mins later saying they stop taking orders at 8pm now. I was going to be in the area so I agreed to stop by The Grove for a friend. She asked if I'd pick up some gummies for her. I was happy to. I am completely uneducated in the world of cannabis products. My friend sent a text telling me what she wanted. I rolled up (pun intended) to the store and was greeted by a very pleasant security guard out front. I walked in and it was not at all crowded. I showed my ID to the young ladies behind the window and was buzzed in. I walked up to the very sweet girl behind the counter, explained my lack of knowledge and showed her the text. She grabbed a couple of items and showed them to me. I knew that the packaging was different than what my friend usually gets. She then suggested that she look up my friend's purchase history. What a great idea! She did so and we quickly knew exactly what I needed. I was a day early for the buy one, get one for $1 deal, but "the button worked" so she was able to hook me up. THE WORST FIRST TIME EXPERIENCE & would never recommend for anyone else's first time. Employees are either too high to realize what items they're giving out to the customer OR don't care what you're leaving with. So if you decide to go, make sure you leave with the RIGHT PRODUCT. Placed an order online for 2 items. They were out of 1 item & was able to replace that one with a different strain but by the time I got home I realized the 2nd item was a total DIFFERENT ITEM THAN ORDERED. Called them before driving back and was asked who's name the order was under & explained it was my boyfriends.. they said there wouldn't be ANY ISSUES that I would just need to pay the difference. After receiving all the WRONG INFORMATION over the phone & drove back down there just for them to tell me they COULDNT GIVE ME A REFUND OR EXCHANGE because my boyfriend place the order under his name?? AND had to choose a different strain AGAIN for the item ordered because they were "out of stock for that strain" as well. After choosing something different, they said they could ONLY DELIVER to our home so HE can receive it. So we waited over an hour to receive our order. I don't understand why there's low ratings on here, I had an AMAZING experience with the Grove. I ordered delivery, they got my order to my front door same-day in under 90 minutes. Most of the other dispensaries do not offer delivery or cannot fulfill it same-day you have to preorder. The selection was good, the prices are comparable to everyone else, and their website was designed a lot better than the competition (especially Urban Leaf, my God, their website is a technological abortion). This place has some days better than others. I've probably visited here 5 to 6 times total. They have have a fairly large selection of everything you could possibly be interested in. Everything is very well displayed and the employees will usually be able to answer it any questions you might have. The only downside is that some days the employees just dick around and take forever. There will be three to four of them in a small group laughing, talking about whatever, even though there's a line outside the door waiting to get in. If they are employees that just got off the clock or are about to start, maybe have them wait in a break room so it's less frustrating to be sitting in the lobby and seeing so many people doing nothing when you just want to pick up and be on your way. Also, every time I've been there's been the same guard and he has this tough guy facade the entire time. I've been to other dispensaries where the guards are very kind + polite and will chat it up with you. I got frustrated one time because I got a battery with a charging system I did not know how to use. My frustration came out over text message, and a customer service person responded soon after and was very helpful. I apologized for my frustration.
