We had a great experience at urgent care for kids. My daughter got bit by our dog and it broke skin. They were very professional and we were out in less than a hour. The office is very kid friendly and the doctor was very knowledgeable and reassuring that all is well. The irrigated the wound, gave her a bandage and we were on our way. Will pick up meds tomorrow. I took my medically fragil, handicapped, non verbal daughter to this urgent care tonight. She is 3.5 feet tall and weights 50 pounds, toddler size. Her primary doctor is a pediatrician and she is seen at Texas "Children's" hospital. She is 28 years old cosmological however her mental capacity is not commensurate with that age. They, no question asked, with this information refused to she her. I am sure they were aware that a 9:30 at night we did not have a hope of finding another open urgent care. They obviously did not care. Which leads me To wonder how well they would care for the patiences they agree to see. read more

I took my 2 year old daughter here for a high fever 102-105, chills, throwing up and back pain. They tested her for strep, flu- both were negative. They said they'd send in for throat culture and would get back to us. The doctor told us to just give her Tylenol and Motrin and discharged us. This led us to taking her to the emergency room 3 days later because her "chills" became severe shaking- almost like a seizure where she couldn't control her body. We still haven't heard from Pediatrix about her throat culture. Turns out my daughter had a severe UTI. The doctor never took a urine sample, dismissed us and let us think we could treat her with OTC meds. Still upset I haven't heard anything from their staff. read more

5 star medical staff 2-3 stars for wait time and office staff. Well this is my 2nd time here, 1st time was a disaster several years ago with my son being misdiagnosed with a cold and he actually had a dry drowning incident that sent him to the PICU over the weekend when he was 3 years old. As this is one of the few pediatric urgent cares in the area, I took my chances again with my 15 month old who fell. The normal urgent care I use when I need to go to an urgent care didn't have the X-ray machine working or I would have gone there. I made an appt since they don't open until 3pm and most pediatrician offices (including ours) don't have X-ray machines usually in office. I showed up early, and spent about 45 mins in the waiting room to be called back. There were 2 other people in front of me. After waiting and being called up 3 separate times to take care of paperwork (I had already submitted my initial paperwork info when I made the appt) they called us back. We waited not too long for the doctor, but we had been there maybe an hour by then before she showed up. She was great, good bedside manner, she didn't seem to worried about what was going on, but also reassuring that she didn't think it was serious ( and it ended up not being.) We waited on X-rays- almost an hour - they brought the paper work to sign 10 mins after the doctor left and then came back 45 mins later for the X-rays. The nurse who took vitals and X-rays was great. I had a very tired, cranky, hurt baby and he was so great even if it was rough. I then waited another 30 mins to splint her. The ladies who did it were sweet and made her laugh while trying to take care of the splint. The medical staff was amazing and helpful. However, I was there over 2 1/2 hours for X-rays and maybe a 7 min consult. I'm not sure what's going on, but this office needs to be run better. I've never waited that long at an urgent care, and I've been a walk in patient with a room full of patients. I'm glad everything turned out well, but Pediatrix needs to take note of how they do there business. If you want my repeat business and others, something has to change. read more

So impressed with this urgent care! From the moment I walked in, the staff was helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. I forgot my insurance card and the front desk receptionist was kind enough to look it up for me. The waiting area had a table for kids, as well as books and tv playing a children's movie for entertainment. The wait was about 30-40 min, not so bad. The pediatrician who saw us was extremely patient with my daughter, and was quick to send out her prescription. As soon as I left the clinic my prescription was ready for pick up. She also gave her a dose of the medication, and ibuprofen for the pain. I was so pleased with my experience, I would definitely recommend visiting this urgent care. read more

This urgent care should change their name to Sauna Pediatric Urgent Care. The waiting room and patient rooms were extremely hot. Were they trying to kill the viruses or the patients or both with the facility's temp? Don't worry about making an appointment. You will be waiting regardless. Walk-ins will be taken before you, even if you have made an appointment. We saw this first hand as a walk-in skipped us and her child was seen before ours. The lady and her child were put in the room next to ours where she was seen first. The NP told us there was an "emergency", but they saw another patient before us. If you are waiting for an extended time in the patient room, the staff will say there was an "emergency". We are new to the area but we understand why this pediatric urgent care had appointments available and Tx Children's didn't. Word of advice, don't go here. Walk-in at Tx Children's if they don't have appointments available. read more

After reading other reviews I WOULD NOT take your child here. Seems like they just want to take your money and refer you to the ER. I just spent $150 for a dose of ibuprofen for my son. He was complaining of stinging in his chest and chest pain. I wrote that down as the reason for coming in. You would think that if they aren't equipped to treat a patient with those symptoms that they would tell you that BEFORE paying and being seen only to be referred to the ER. I will never take one of my children here again. The staff is nice enough as they should be since they are basically stealing from me by allowing my child to be seen when they don't have the capability of actually treating him. Second visit.. Thank you for being so great with our 2yr old twin toddlers! Both had colds and double ear infections. We got right in fast! Going to bed sick they talked all about their dr visit and that it was good and that they were not afraid! After three days of my son with a limp and painful arm we decided he couldn't bare the pain anymore and we took him to this urgent care. We suspected it was Nursemaids Elbow. The doc and staff were very kind but they barely examined is elbow, struggled to get X-ray images, after waiting an hour and a half, let me know all was clear and to take Tylenol. Obviously, my kid suffered through the night, I made an emergency appt with a pediatric orthopedic who was able to snap his elbow right back into place in minutes and said it was nursemaids elbow and any doc should be able to fix it and taught me how to do it should it happen again. Oh, and I received a cd of images that was blank so my poor little guy had to endure a second round of X-rays. read more

Dr. Agwu took her time to listen to my concerns and examine my 2.5 yo daughter to properly diagnose her. The wait time was not long at all we were in and out within 45 minutes. After a long day of work, we arrived at Nightlight at 630pm. We were immediately checked in and by 730p we had been trained by the nurse who eased my sons fears. Took my son to Nightlight this past Friday. We are in and out in 15 minutes, maybe even less. The lady at the front desk was super nice and helpful. My sweet boy had an ear infection and the Dr was quick, efficient and even asked us what our recommendations were on medication (My son has chronic ear infections even after tubs so we know what works and doesn't work) so I appreciated that. I've brought my kids here many times over the years! My daughter was directly exposed to Covid and had to get tested before returning to school. I was told my insurance wouldn't cover a portion of the bill and we would need to pay for it upfront. Not a problem. We pay for the service and find out later that the insurance did cover it. I've called for months and have been told my refund is in process, but no one knows when the check will actually be cut. Their customer service is ridiculous and all you get is the run around. read more

First visit today. My son fell and hit his head and still had symptoms a couple hours later. We wait about 30 mins to be seen. Nurse then tells me because of his slight nausea and history of concussion he needs to go to er for X-rays and scans. I ask if dr can do in office assessment as his pediatrician had done previously. I was told not really, the er is best. Long story short, get to the er and dr does exactly what I asked about and said that urgent care could have done it also if they knew what to do. Night light Urgent care misdiagnosed my son. The doctor told me he had a cold and that his throat was red, but not infected red whatever that means, and she wouldn't do a strep test because he was too young to have strep. I explained there had been multiple confirmed cases in his daycare of strep and she still would not test. I took him to the doctor Tuesday, and strep throat. Now I am pretty sure I have it! My son was misdiagnosed at NightLight Pediatric Urgent Care branch in Webster. I took him in on Saturday night because he had a fever for 2 days of 102. The doctor examined him and was done within 5-10 minutes and said he had the flu even though she did NOT do a flu test on him. Sent us home and said to rest and take Motrin. All Sunday he had a fever and was miserable. Took him to his pediatrician on Monday morning at 8am and he had a double ear infection AND a sinus infection. I called Nightlight Urgent Care to express my disappointment that they misdiagnosed my son. They "investigated" and determined that my child must have developed a double ear infection and sinus infection within 24 hours. Really??!!! How is that even possible! His ears were full of gunk and there is no way that all developed within 24 hours. The receptionist also told me that the doctor put on the chart that he had an upper respiratory infection. Seriously!!! They refused to offer a refund or even a genuine apology seeing how my son was misdiagnosed and was not given the care he needed. Please do NOT take your child to this urgent care. My child would have been VERY sick had I listened to their medical advice instead of my motherly instincts! read more

We have taken our child here three times and every visit has been great! Appointments online are easy to schedule. Once you arrive you are quickly taken back for vitals and then taken to a room. Each doctor has been extremely friendly and has made our child very comfortable. Diagnosis is quick and we have been able to pick up our prescription on the way home. read more
