Twice now I've had my car window replaced here and it's been an amazing experience both times. They're the cheapest place around, along with super quick service. Both times I've called the morning of, dropped my car off, and it's done within a handful of hours! Plus as a nice courtesy both times they've vacuumed the little pieces of glass on the seat/floor from when it was broken. Can't recommend enough for this service! My insurance wouldn't cover anything under $500, and other places were quoting me around $300 so when they said it would only be $150 my jaw dropped! read more

I must admit that using Car Brain was far easier than I expected it to be. I kept trying to overly complicate how they buy cars, but it really is fairly simple. This towing company came to pick up my car. But when the delivery guy got here, the first thing he asked me was how many miles I got on the car and mentioned TWICE how city residents "don't drive enough" and how there should be "more miles on my car." I let it slide the first time as just an unsolicited opinion. But when he said it the second time, I said, "I'm comfortable with the mileage on my car" in a way that set a tone to move on. He got the hint. I went back inside to get the original title, and he asked for the keys before I walked away. (I'd given him a copy of the title instead of the original.) He mentioned he wasn't trying to be condescending by asking for the keys while I was gone. I totally understood the request for the keys, but not the lecture about how often I should drive. I've had this car for FIFTEEN YEARS and jumped through many, many hoops, turned down dealerships to buy it and Craigslist users. I love my car. I sighed when he nonchalantly said nobody would really want a car "this old" (again, how can a car not have enough miles on it and not be used enough but then be treated like it's in a rocking chair moments later?) and that they would smash it. In his mind, this was just ANOTHER car. But to the owner of the vehicle, nobody is trying to hear you flippantly talk about demolishing their car. But that was my fault, because I did indeed ask what they'd do with it. So in this case, he answered my question. I set myself up to wince a second time. Still, be kind to the lady who flopped her upper body on the hood of a ton of metal and gave it a hug before he could tow it. He WATCHED me do this. After that, he changed his tune a little. He was friendly and chit-chatted about his cake-cutting speeches and why he may go to Toastmasters. (I was wearing a Toastmasters shirt, an organization I've been in for years.) But my mind was so laser-focused on giving up a car that I had for 15 years, so the more he talked, the more it felt like Charlie Brown's teacher. I think I would've enjoyed this company more if they were towing someone else's car (like an unauthorized user). But this was MY car. It was a sad moment for me, but such is life. I signed over the title. Car Brain was easy to work with. I was paid promptly. I'd recommend them. Just be easy on telling people HOW and WHEN to use their cars. read more

Fast,efficient and very professional, My service didn't take long at all and everyone was nice and friendly

I made an appointment with Aero to pick up my junked car. When no one arrived, I called and they told me the tow truck had overheated. We set another appointment for two days later. (They told me the next day was all filled up.) When no one showed up for the second appointment, I called and they said the driver was having "family issues." I cancelled with Aero completely and called Peddle, who handled my car pickup in a professional and timely manner. I would never recommend Aero. read more

I called about getting cash for my car. They asked me if it had the original catalytic converter, I said yes, they quoted me a price which I felt was reasonable so I agreed with their price. However, when the guy came to pick up the car he told me my catalytic converter was not original, which is not true, to my knowledge we had never had a new catalytic converter installed. The thing is so rusty it's been there for years. So they insisted it's not original and knock off $50. In my opinion, they just didn't want a part that was that rusty. Either way I don't like the way they do business and I would not recommend them. read more

This past year on two separate occasions i've purchased used parts for my 2003 pt cruiser. Each visit was less then ten minutes and the parts were competitively priced and in excellent condition. Most recent buy was a CV axle and on their own initiative wrapped both ends in a thick clear plastic bag so i wouldn't mess up the interior of my car in transport... a very nice touch in customer service and greatly appreciated. :D read more

The man at the desk is very rude and a liar he told me my refund should be on my card the same day no refund so I waited until the next morning and I don't have my refund so I called the man told me I was lying that he told me nothing l like that then hung up on me I wasn't rude to him so I had my husband call back he told my husband a different story and then my husband said you were on speakerphone then he said you just wanted to cause problems then told him to come see him then hung up so now they have their merchandise and I have no refund. to the gentleman who responded thank you for responding the guy at the desk said it would come right away that's false information then for him to hang up on me then say he didn't or that he didn't say that is ludicrous word of advice I know you been in business for a while and I heard great things about the company but way too many people have cameras and social media dont let employees give false information then say the customer is not telling the truth that could be the demise of your accomplishments and company read more

I was referred to this group by my trusted mechanic. My vehicle wasn't runing and I wasn't going to put any more money into it. I called Aero and spoke to a very nice gentleman who offered me, what I thought, was a more than fair price. I gave my information and he said they would be there the next day to pick it up. So, I took the day off and waited for them to call. And waited. And waited. I remembered him saying that they closed at 5pm and they aren't far from me so about 4:20 I called them. A woman answered and I said that I had been waiting for someone to call to pick up my vehicle and should I assume no one is coming. She said, "who are you" sounding like I was really putting her out. I gave her my information and a few seconds later she came back and said "she called you today and left you a message". (I don't know who "she" was). I explained that I had been home all day and I ever received a call and don't have a voice mail from anyone. I had my phone with me all day and was home all day. As the conversation continued, she became more curt and condescending. I asked her the number they had and she read off my correct number. I said it was the correct number but I still had no call or voicemail. She said "well she called you and the only thing that can be done is schedule another day". I told her that I already wasted an entire day (my birthday nonetheless) and I wasn't going to waste another and that I would just call someone else. Customer service 101 would be "I am sorry, perhaps there was a miscommunication, what if we tried....." I've never dealt with this type of business before, maybe this is just the way it is. Do I doubt someone tried to call, no. Could it possibly be the number was misdialed???? Irrelevant as I was pretty much treated as a liar. Somewhere someone has a voicemail and they are wondering why someone wants to pick up their car. Many people here have had positive experiences with them and as I said, the gentleman I spoke with was great. My suggestion is to follow up yourself, several times, and not wait for the calls. People get busy, numbers may get mixed up- things happen. However, if you encounter the person I did that talked to me like I was an idiot as opposed to a customer - ask for someone else or move along. read more

Aero sucks! They tried to sell me a use part that was triple the price of a new part. Please! Check the price before going with their price.

After spending hours on the phone trying to find a place in Chicago that would take our van, this place fit the bill. The office was super understanding and helpful to get all the necessary paperwork together. Noble, the tow truck driver, is one of the nicest people I have met!! He was friendly, instructive, and absolutely knew what he was doing. Great service at an outstanding price! I called for a phone estimate was quoted $90.00. I had received estimates as high as $400.00. Was in and out within about 1 hour and payed what I was quoted. They cleaned all the broken glass from the inside of my car. They were pleasant and professional. I would definitely used them again. read more
