I recently saw a mini documentary on how Cisco foods is ruining the restaurant industry. That most…read morerestaurants just buy everything off of these big box places and often you're just paying for the same deep-fried stuff or just paying for the same prepackaged premade stuff from different restaurants with a big markup. They did mention US foods as being another big one and you might be thinking of why am I giving it five stars if that's the case? Well, here it is if I'm buying the same stuff that I'm enjoying at restaurants at a fraction of the cost of being able to eat it at home what a game changer. It all started long ago, and I realized that nobody made their gyro fresh. I saw the box googled it, saw that US foods carried it, and then realized they carried the bread. the sauce and everything. Fast forward I'm eating some of these restaurants that I was paying way too much for at home and having the kids and family would be happy. Sometimes you just need 50 pound bags of flour. Sometimes you need things that you don't want shipped sometimes I need a gallon of my favorite soy sauce because I'm a creature of habit and this is my go to place for that. So next time you're thinking wow that item looks a lot like something I've gotten at a restaurant recently. It just might be that same item so you might want to pick it up and save yourself the trouble. Then you can continue to look for unique authentic places to spend your money to enjoy local flavors and artisan craftsmanship and not just reheated bulk that you can buy at a great establishment like this.

It's fun being here. Since they are a commercial kitchen supplies store, they have everything in…read morebulk. Still you can find things where you don't need to buy a lot. It's also fun the kitchen hardware and Equipment section. One finds unusual things. They're called section is huge everything one might imagine from butter to phyllo dough. If you decide to enter, make sure you have a good jacket as it's really cold in there . The service for the most part is pretty good. Be aware though you need to be a member to shop in there; however, you can get a day pass by filling out a small form. The parking lot is not very large but adequate.

Because of that, I won't be coming back again. On top of that, their prices were higher than retail, which made the experience even more disappointing.

Let's start off by saying LOOK FOR RACHEL! This was our very first home remodel/up date. We've had…read moreour home for about 8 years. Building it from scratch. In doing so, you would think that we got all we wanted... but nope. When we started, we had a budget, a tight one. It was our very first home and we weren't sure what we needed or what we truly wanted until you're actually in it. It was finally time. We're ready to make a change. I got a few bids and was ready, it was time to go pick out some countertops and designs. Extended homes was the 2/3 that we went shopped at and got quotes on. The other two places, I will leave names out, 1 was a lot cheaper, but customer service was off. On top of that, I read some bad reviews. The 2nd spot, was a bit cheaper, about $400 but I wasn't too sure, had an off feeling about them too. Extended Homes was the most expensive, however, the service I received from Rachel made me feel so confident. To me, because of her reassuring us and the way she helped us every step of the way... she even told us not to do a few things, made me feel like she truly wants us to be happy, and not in it to make more money. Going with them before the completed look gave me peace of mind. The results.. I couldn't ask for more! Thank you Rachel and her team for the beautiful kitchen!

Always appreciate Peet's and desperately wish they still had a location on the west side of town…read more Excellent coffee, decaf, pastries and sandwich selection. Customer service is unmatched. Large, clean dining room and tables outside.

I'm writing this with equal parts heartbreak and caffeine withdrawal…read more I've been a devoted Peet's customer since my freshman year in Berkeley--back when discovering your deep, dark roast felt like being let in on a delicious secret. From that very first cup, I was hooked. Bold, rich, unapologetically intense--everything coffee should be. Frankly, Starbucks could NEVER compete, and I wore that opinion like a badge of honor for nearly 40 years. Over those decades, Peet's wasn't just my coffee--it was part of my routine, my work life in San Francisco, and even my social fabric. I brought Peet's into corporate meetings, events, and countless mornings that required both caffeine and hope. The consistency was unmatched, and the people--your people--were just as special. Longtime staff who remembered names, orders, and somehow made a coffee chain feel like a neighborhood staple. Then life took me north to the Pacific Northwest--specifically Oregon and Washington--where, let's be honest, "medium roast" reigns supreme (a phrase that still confuses me spiritually). Finding Peet's locations here felt like spotting an old friend in a crowd. And at first, it was! The quality, the AMAZING staff, the experience--it all held up. But lately... what happened? Somewhere along the line--perhaps around the time of the Keurig Dr Pepper acquisition--things changed. And not in a "new seasonal menu" kind of way. The coffee doesn't hit the same. The magic feels diluted. Even the staff, once the soul of the brand, seem less engaged--like they, too, are wondering where the old Peet's went. I feel for my friends!!! It pains me to say this, but the experience now feels... ordinary. And Peet's was never supposed to be ordinary. I can't help but imagine Alfred Peet looking down and thinking, "This is not what I had in mind." So here I am, a customer of nearly four decades, asking--no, begging--you to remember what made Peet's special. The commitment to quality. The restraint in growth. The PRIDE in the product. The people. Because right now, I'm doing something I never thought I would: exploring other options. And while nothing quite replaces what Peet's used to be, some are getting dangerously close.
