The list is huge but here are just a few pictures the way the contractors left the job as they stated The customer is never happy! They started off good but then went sour as some of their sub contractors were not very skilled in their field. The kitchen remolded is ok except we added a small walk in pantry, so they made the one wall slight short but stated it will be ok. The problem is the panel doors they put in do not fixed right as they are not level to properly close right and they just screwed in the same holes instead of anchor and filling them so they come out and we have to keep screwing them back in. Since March they have not come back to fix the issue so we will need to fine someone else who can. Fireplace was a joke. The person did not proper sand to blend the paint . Plumbing in the remolded bathroom was put in wrong and we were having plumbing issues. They sent someone out and all they did was turn on my water and said house is old and it's your main line never checked the main line to see. That was not the case. But they did get someone to fixed it right .... They certainly have communication and planning jobs to be done. Seem like they work backward problem. Had them do living room floor. Came out ok except when they put the molding strip down they didn't nail them down and cover the holes. Still have not been fixed yet. So I guess I'm not a happy customer. I hired US LA Home last year to retrofit my house and they did such a good job that I hired them again to remodel my bathroom and laundry room. Uzi is fantastic -- when we ran into a small issue with the toilet being put in the wrong place I was freaking out thinking they'd have to rip up the entire new tile floor. He was so calm, and took care of it immediately. I had a little frustration with a couple of the subs not showing up when they said they would, but I think that's typical in construction these days. I never give anyone a 5-star review as I always believe there is room for improvement. In all honestly, USLA Remodeling came very close to 5-Star in their job performance. In my book, they have a 4.85 Star for their work and 5-star for customer satisfaction. I have owned and managed Apartment buildings for the past 30+ years. I oversee contractors issuing their work orders and receive progress reports. When I bought my home in Long Beach, I was planning on acting as a General Contractor and getting all other trades hired and coordinating their work and progress. But traveling from the East Coast back and forth was going to take its toll on me and I truly could not see myself doing this job 2500 miles away. I was introduced to the Houzz site and posted my search for a home remodeling company. USLA (Uzi Ezra, GC) contacted me and sweet-talked me into meeting him so he could present himself and his portfolio of work. Uzi came on time, which is #1 in my book, and I decided to try him for the smallest job at $25,000. Within a week after the start of the job, I was so impressed by him that I started giving him more tasks on renovating the house. From three Bathrooms to the removal of the walls, and the entire kitchen, re-doing the electrical, and much more. In short, the small $25,000.00 job added to be over $150,000.00, with the condition that it will be done in six weeks or less. His project manager Diana was amazing and very knowledgeable of construction and most of all customer service. Let's not forget about Jonathan as well. If I tell you everything went smoothly, I will be lying. We did have some setbacks. He had to do the master bathroom literally three times, as his original tile guys were busy with other jobs. What impressed me the most about him was that Uzi would come, look at the job, and say "No, this is not up to USLA home remodeling. Please allow me to demolish and do it correctly for you. We will not be delayed and at no additional cost to you". Now, that is impressive. I loved working with Uzi and his main tile guy Arthuro Countertop guy Gerardo and his Carpenter Juan, who is so proud of his workmanship.
