So my daughter paid $65 (plus an extra 10 for a tip) for these gorgeous acrylics at US Nail Bar. Fun thing - done on Saturday, November 12. First one popped off Thursday, November 17th, but due to school and work she was not able to get in to get it fixed. Good thing? Because they all started falling off after that. They ALL fell off by last Sunday night. Today is the first day we have time to go over and get it fixed? And they said NOPE. Apparently they don't stand behind their nail techs. I was a long time customer and have really given up on this place after multiple appointment mistakes on their end. Many of their employees stay on their phone during your service. I've been yelled at by a male employee for letting him know he was way too rough with my nails, and he replied saying that no one else complains about it. In which I ask at the minimum to not place me with their male employees, and they can't even make good on one request. As a regular, these things are so simple. I walked into this location and asked did you need an appointment. They stated yes.... but there were nail techs who clearly weren't busy. Granted they stated they'd be closing in an hour... They put on layer of nail polish and both my daughter came out of their pedicures to have chipped colored nails. I had an okay experience my first time there in October but my no chip manicure started chipping within 3 days. The pedicure was good that time. I went back again a couple of weeks ago and had a new girl do my pedicure. She cut my heel pretty good that it bled. I put ointment on it daily for several days before it started to look better. Also when she was finished with my pedicure she grabbed the spray bottle of alcohol and sprayed my toes and took a cotton ball and ruined them. I'm assuming she didn't realize it was alcohol in the bottle? So then she had to paint my toes again. I had a different technician do my no chip mani and he did an okay job but was not very friendly. (He was sleeping in a chair when I arrived at the salon.) This no chip mani again began chipping within 3 days. I think 2 try's was enough for me and I will not be going back. read more

My daughter had a gel mani. After just a few days three of them chipped. She went in and they fixed them, then a couple more chipped. I called to see if they can fix the new chips, and they will not fix it. I told them they lost her business (she is a teen and proudly paid for it with her own money). Roy was my tech. Not only is he rude but he clearly doesn't know what's he's doing. 3x I had him in a row and 3x he did awful. My nails lifted immediately and when I went to get then fixed I was looked at like I was the problem. This last time I requested someone else and they refused. My last fill he did, the lady before me had to get tune fixed by someone else before leaving. Front desk ladies are sweet. Some of the other techs are also sweet. But the other ones, you walk in and you're immediately uncomfortable. I've spoken to other women while sitting there and they all said the same thing. They feel like they aren't liked and they've never been rude. But we continue to go back because some of the techs like Jack for example, really do a fabulous job and he's consistent. This was probably one of the most frustrating experiences I've ever had with a nail salon. I went on their opening day and had to make two extra trips to get my nails redone and finished. I live 25 minutes away! The girl who originally did my nails didn't ask if I wanted acrylic or gel. I always get gel. Once I realized what was happening I figured it wasn't worth the fuss to tell her. There are worse things to get upset about. But it did get worse. I asked for coffin shape. She couldn't get it right. I asked for holographic nails and I got sparkles. I was so frustrated and just wanted to leave. I still tipped her. I should also mention she took a chunk of nail off of my left big toe during the pedicure. Fast forward to me getting home completely irritated and angry. I took a breath and called them to explain what happened and why I wasn't happy. They offered for me to come back later that night to fix them. Upon arrival I was informed that the owner would be doing my nails. He asked me what the problem was and I told him the nails need to be reshaped. He asked if I wanted them more narrow or shorter. I said I want the ones that are too narrow to be redone and the ones that are too fat to be narrowed out. He wasn't understanding me. He was very short with me and filed my nails so badly that the acrylic part no longer fit in my nail bed. They were uneven and just God awful. At this point I told them to take them off, I'm leaving and going to my old salon. At this point the owner wanted nothing to do with me and pawned me off on another tech. I insisted on leaving. One of the girls convinced me to stay and that another tech would fix them. I was fine with that cause the owner infuriated me. The new tech told me that we should choose a different holographic color as some colors have a better color shift than others. Fine. I picked a silver with a rainbow color shift. Then she proceeds to tell me, they don't have the powder to finish my nails and to come back tomorrow. So at this point, I just have a silver sparkle base coat. If you go to this salon, make sure they put the powder on your nails for holographic color!!! The examples they have on the nail swatches are just a sparkle paint. They say they're holographic but they're NOT. She reshaped them ok. Coffin shape is definitely a weak point for them. Went back today so she could FINALLY finish my nails. It went fine. Still hate the shape. The nails have an uneven thickness and some of the acrylic doesn't completely cover my nail beds. There's also weird waves and dimples in the paint. If you have a salon and are happy, stick to what you know! I'm giving two stars because the majority of the staff was nice and they genuinely seemed like they wanted to fix the problem. The results just weren't there. And the extra trips I had to make were annoying. Lesson learned for this girl! read more

Be careful of what they tell you and what they do. Had nails done and less than 3 days all the gel polish came off. They were flaking and also coming off in whole pieces. Was told they would fix it. Great, came in at appt time, which was end of their work day, and the manicurist recommended coming back another so they could do them better. Fine, then was told there would be an additional charge of $35. Was told this by receptiomist and the manicurist. So we agreed to come back and she was charge $55 after her nails were done. We did get 20% off, but that's not the price we were told. It's not about the dollars but about how customers get ripped off. read more

My sister mom and myself chose this place to do a girls day where we all got pedicures and my sister and I got dip nail polish. During the pedicures, the woman doing her nails kept messing up the big toe and redoing it. It still did not look good at the end however the lady doing them was absolutely sweet as pie and since the pedicure part was good we just kind of were okay with it. She went home and repainted it herself. Then when I got my nails done some other man had to come do the ombré portion where he seemed very bothered by the whole thing but whatever he rushed through them and left another girl to finish them. At the end there was a bunch of dried glue and polish all around the nail which they said was because I had short nails which I understand but I used to go get my ails done very frequently and always had short nails. Never had this much residue. By the next day one of my nails had already fallen off and the next day another one fell off. I could see that all but 2 were lifting it looks like the clear coat that they put on at the end was not very even so the color didn't even look even. I went in today to see if they could just redo them because clearly they would all be coming off soon. They said they would fix the two that were already off and put more down on the bottom of the nails that were lifting. My fear with this is that the middle would still be lifted so water etc could get under and cause more problems. I went to the car and literally just peeled the rest of the nails off which took 2 seconds and was not difficult in the least. It was like peeling of press on nails. Actually I have had a harder time getting those off. Our total that day was over 200 dollars. It just baffles me that they would not completely fix nails that were clearly not done well in the first place. Nails are not cheap and there is a lot of hefty competition around this area. Would not spend another dime on this place due to how they handled the situation and lack of care about repeat customers. read more

Wanted to try a new nail place, that was my first mistake. Upon arriving to my appointment I immediately notice a sign saying they prefer you to pay cash and then a Venmo handle on a piece of paper for payment if you don't have cash for the business to avoid credit card fees. As I'm picking a color, I'm asked if I chose one and before I could even answer the employee is taking the colors away. My appointment didn't even start until over 20 minutes after the scheduled time, really set back all of my other plans. The first woman who helps me is who I thought would be doing the entire appointment but I guess this place works in stations or an assembly line? She only glued the tips on and cut them down. I'm then shuffled over to another seat with a different person and he applies the acrylic and shapes them, a third employee comes up and is just sitting there having a conversation where my nail then became an after thought. In this moment I just wanted to get up and leave. A huge reason why I chose this nail salon when wanting to try something new was on their website they said "buffers and files are used only once then discarded", not only was the nail file and buffer used on me very clearly dirty and used before the chair and counter wasn't even fully cleaned where I was sitting. So clearly sanitization isn't a huge priority as they have stated. The entire time I felt like it was rushed because they were running late on my appointment, so probably others too and days later my nails already started to chip, essentially showing me it was a rush job. read more
