Today, was my lucky day, I had my mini Swedish massage with Vanessa. All I can say is that she is a miracle worker. Her fingers pinpointed the exact spot that I had been having pain in for the past week. It was located right underneath my right shoulder blade. It was a knot and Vanessa worked on it and was able to loosen it up, thank God. I was able to relax, unwind, and just forget everything else. The atmosphere in the room was wonderful. I loved the background music and the heated bed was so comfortable. Vanessa's voice was soft spoken and she would explain what she was going to do, prior to doing it. She also wanted to make certain that I was no longer in pain and what my level was. She helped me work on my breathing and asked me to move my head so that she could figure out exactly what was causing the pain. She is definitely worth every single penny. I love that I have found a great Massage Therapist. I even bought another Mother's Day package just so I could try another spa treatment along with another massage. The room is cluttered with 'stuff' all over, there is only a chair to sit on, no curtain for any privacy, nor any lockers, cubbies or anywhere to put your clothing or belongings. I am pretty sure the treatment chair/table is not sanitized between clientele because everything is sticky. Even the clock in the room does not work. You are not told to bring any treatment distractions-fortunately I brought a book- nor are any distractions provided, no TV, no headphones, no tablet. You just lie on the treatment table for however many hours that treatment session takes. When your treatment is finished, you get redressed in the treatment room. Some wet wipes are provided to help remove some of the residue. Again, no privacy. you need to go home immediately to shower and wash your clothes. You are sticky from shoulders to knees, you are marked up with magic marker and look like a meat picture from the butcher, and your clothes are a mess from your stickiness. Definitely not worth the money or time.

We were simply and quite unfortunately turned away. Although, I do believe my Husband and daughter were discriminated against as I do not see this "policy" listed anywhere.
