Today I walk in and wait to no one at counter, but clearly see 2 people in back moving around. I ring the bell then wait 5 more minutes for postal worker to approach me at counter with no urgency at all. Needing to transfer address to postal label I ask for a pen. He walks to other end of counter slams a pen down then proceeds to tell me I can come down there and fill it out rather than just walk the pen to me. Sure, he minimally did his job, but customer service friendliness definitely not there. There's a post office about a mile away from this location that I'll take my business to next time.

Because of this, I often come here with a backlog of packages that need to go out. The staff is seemingly spread thin so they maintain a blase attitude most of the time. The facility itself is super dark and outdated. They carry new packaging and stamps though, so it gets the job done.

Saturday, June 6, 2026 (Noonish) - I had three boxes of…read morereturns - each one from a different company. In my haste to make the returns before it got too late in the day, I failed to print the return shipping labels I needed, neither of the labels were the qr code kind in which the UPS Store can print them for you. As I was trying to figure out where I could print without going all the way back home, the gentleman let me know I could forward the labels to their designated email address, and he could print them for me. The fee was $2.50 for the initial service + $0.50 per printed page. In my situation, it was like "a ram in the bush". After expressing the utmost thanks, I was able to have each return shipping label printed. The customer service is normally good here, and today is was definitely giving great. The store was clean, organized, and cool [had a/c]. This is my preferred location, and today I was reminded why (one more time).

I had to return a huge guitar back to Amazon and they were so helpful with the packaging and making sure it was taped together correctly. It was easy to get a receipt for my amazon return. Next time I drop something off I am going to ask what the golden boxes are for. It would be my guess that they would be old PO Boxes? I love how it make it feel like a post office with a vintage feel. The cost for shipping are comparable across other UPS stores.

If you do business within the Live Oaks business plaza, it's conveniently right down the boulevard. Aside from being the off the main road, you will find what you need from stamps to overnight mail options to boxes to packaging to passport first time applications to renewals. One important notice about passports- you need to make an appointment! I always receive good service and the employees are pleasant. Other than feeling I'm at a small store with loosely organized items for purchase and information notices all around, I get what I need (and move on).
