I walked into the 333 W Broadway Anaheim Location for the first time, and I had 3 packages with me. 1 with a QR code, and two with a printed label. Upon walking up to the waiting point Hector and another employee were talking and then hector called me over. I told him I had a QR code for the package and he then proceeded to very rudely lecture me about how I passed a self service kiosk where I could have done it myself. I felt so embarrassed and humiliated and just stood quiet, when he told me to rate his service on the machine I pressed the frowny face and he got angry and said "Why did you press that" and I said "Girl-" and he said It's what I'm supposed to do but okay, you can take these other two packages to the self service and do it yourself. He rudely made me go to the self service kiosk that I didn't know how to use because my nearest post offices DON'T have them. On top of that, it was locked so I couldn't drop them off in the bin. Then I went back in line to tell him I couldn't drop it off, and he told me it must've been locked and to just drop them off to the side, where I had originally gotten helped at!! It was a waste of my time and the fact that his ego was that big is insane. read more

For those ppl complaining about things being "run down" it's really not that bad. This is a simple no frills place...get in and get out. You're not here to lounge. This location and pretty much all of the United States Post offices in Anaheim are run down. This location is so dirty and ran down. Missing and broken pieces to their 'furniture'. Old signage. I asked the two employees, the only ones I ever see there, why it is always dirty, ran down, dead 0lants and cacti outside, dirty windiws and glass, dirty entrance and exit handles. No wipes or hand sanitizer. Trash can are usually full. The counters are old, run down, missing pieces, and broken areas. I never see either of them clean, sanitize or pickup anything from the floor ie; trash, papers, etc. They both said they are not allowed to leave there desk or leave from behind the counter. There are cameras and we will get in trouble. WTH...so if someone slipped and fell would you leave your post. How pathetic and lazy are these men and employees. The post office used to be a sought out 'job' years ago. Now it employees lazy individuals. The true employees are the ones outside delivering mail in rain, heat or snow. Plus, the ones delivering mail are always nice, courteous, helpful and smile. This branch is my utmost favorite because I come in monthly to get a money order for the rent. The two regular clerks remember me and they are so courteous and friendly. Sometimes it gets crowded. I love how there are gift cards and hallmark cards for sale. read more

Easy parking on street in front or lot in back. Went to pick up PO Box mail for sick neighbor with her key and ID. Had to go to counter with yellow slip for packages too big for box. When customer service gentleman heard the PO Box number, he knew the name already and asked if she was feeling any better. Great customer service. read more

Please never get a PO box with USPS. If a package is too big for your box, USPS employees are supposed to it in a parcel locker and put the key in your box. Pretty simple right? Not really if the employees are lazy and incompetent and just leave it behind the service counter. I'd say 20% they'll do what they're supposed to but most times you have to wait in line at the counter to get them. What's even more inconvenient, if it gets delivered late in the day it will usually mean a next day pick up or if delivered Friday it would force a Monday pick up. The latter happened over this past weekend for me so on Monday at 3 pm, I went and there was literally a line of 7-8 people and only one person working the counter. After almost literal 30 minutes and two people behind me leaving the long line, I'm second in line and see another employee appear to talk to the counter employee. I ask her if she can grab my packages and she said "I can't because I'm a truck driver" with an attitude. Whatever that means. I explained to her the packages were right near her but she refused and muttered something about me as I got back in line. When it was finally my turn, the counter employee grabbed three boxes within literally 10 feet of him and gave it to me within 30 seconds of me approaching him. I waited 30 mins for a simple hand off that A) was never supposed to happen and B) could've been shortened if the precious truck driver just gave me the items. What's worse is this is a USPS core issue, not just this employee's. This is my second PO box with them and it's the same story again. They don't care about staffing an office with the right amount of people or at least cross training their drivers to do customer service work to help out when needed. I mean fricking Target has that but the organization in charge of the nation's mail can't? I'm closing my box and will try my best to never give USPS any of my money again. read more

Great service thank you Chris and Hector! Considering the line, you were patient with my questions. I will say this to those saying that they are paid with our taxes. No they are not! Usps is funded by the postage you buy (stamps, mailing packages or letters), not our taxes. Look it up! 2nd, if you are a business and need padded flat rate envelopes, then order them in bulk from usps.com. The offices very rarely get shipments of those specific items due to limited availability ( most offices do NOT carry them). If you did your due diligence, you will find that all priority shipping supplies are available free of charge to order on usps.com. I have dealt with USPS for a very long time and tho we have had our ups and downs, i will always give them their flowers when it's deserved! read more

This post office is a neighbor post office. It's small and I've enjoyed go there for that reason I like going here. With all the paperless billing going on, the post is most time easy to get what you need quickly. read more

Chris (the guy in the picture) and another older Hispanic guy-i believe his name is Hector- are SO rude and nasty. They obviously hate their jobs and are miserable, but you're not supposed to take that out on random nice people who are PAYING customers doing NOTHING WRONG! They get lazy and close up shop early before 5pm. I've seen them do this at least 5 times...whatever, I waste gas and go to another location that actually keeps their doors open until 5. Then this dynamic hater duo give me and my 73 year old father a nasty attitude for coming in and wanting to see and purchase the limited edition stamps at 4:15pm Mind you there was NOBODY waiting in line. But both Chris and Hector gave my father a nasty attitude not wanting to show him the stamp booklet....disgusting way to treat a tax-paying senior citizen. Do these guys forget that we pay their salary because they are government employees. Hello. Looks like this location needs refresh in attitude and employees-maybe a manager to keep these two haters in check. I go to so many post offices and just moved into the areas and I was sending out jeans to someone and they already paid for a shipping label. The spent 6.50$. My package came to 1.2 lbs and the lady told me that my shipping label wasn't good because it says it covered for a 1 lb. she wanted to charge me an additional 20$ for shipping for jeans ! I went to another post office and had NO ISSUES. read more

Can I just remind folks that this is a pandemic? Excuse me, this is a pandemic and being tired of it doesn't mean it's over. I walked in and some lady is standing by the POBOX area without a mask; I don't mean it's under her chin, I mean no mask in sight. AND she is full on opening her mail and sorting it. I let the staff know and they didn't react. As I proceed to organize my mail, another random lady comes in with a mask in her hand and starts chatting up one of the clerks. . . ? AND AGAIN THE STAFF SAYS NOTHING. This is not the time to socialize with a friend. Standing behind a plexiglass does not protect you or the customers. Then, to top it off, it is my turn to pay for my package and the clerk has her mask under her nose. If you don't care about COVID AND THE FACT THAT THE VIRUS CAN LINGER IN THE AIR FOR A COUPLE HOURS, go in, otherwise I recommend AVOID. What a mess! This is an example of why things aren't better. Go to this post office all the time. So much that we know each other by names. Its CLEAN, close and has very nice staff. Would give it 5 stars but they're closed Saturdays. Never go to this or any other Post office right when they open or within 15 min of closing. Rush hour. read more

It's a super clean post office with great service. It has all the supplies you need for purchase to mail your package or letter. And it is in a nice little glass building with a good size parking lot behind it. Most post office I have been to are in a busy street when it seems always a hassle to mail something, but not in this one. The people that works there are also super nice. if there is any problems with the mails, they will send you off to the side and let you go right back to the counter without going thru the whole line again. The only thing is, it is a small office with 2 counters/ check outs and it is not a major center where they will store your package if your sender got your mailing address wrong or any issue you have with it. There is another reviewer here that mentioned about one of the employee's and has a picture of him. That same guy is absolutely rude. I needed some tape to tape up the box and politely asked one of the employee and as she handed it to me, he yelled and humiliated her and was rude to me saying that I needed to buy tape. Look I get it, business is business, but be more respectful. I'm more than happy to pay for the tape. My business spends over $200k a month on postage at USPS.... This is my favorite post office ever! I'd rather die than go to the one by Walmart. There is always parking here, even on Thursday's when the produce market is going on. The ladies who work here are super nice and never get frustrated with the customers. They always make sure that everything is well stocked and clean. They are so stingy with their priority flat-rate padded envelopes here. First of all, they don't leave them out so that you can use them freely when you need to. Only the non-padded envelopes are out to use. Second of all, when you ask them for some of the padded envelopes they are hesitant to even give you any. The guy working there asked me how many I would like. When I asked for 5 he's says "I can't give you 5 I can only give you like 2". Like asking for 5 was such a ridiculous request. Why even ask me how many envelopes I wanted when you were only planning on giving me 2 at most. It's not like I'm taking the envelopes home to hoard them or something. Looking at this post office from the outside, it's just too adorable. A small post office inside of a glass window enclosure. I had a P.O. Box here once and have dropped off mail and mailed packages from here. They do have their busy moments but their staff is always pleasant and handles swarms of senders like pros. Conveniently located on the corner of Clementine and Broadway in downtown Anaheim, there's parking in the back or along the front side of Broadway (if you're lucky). read more

I went in on a Thursday to pay my mother's p.o. box payment,I forgot the key so I couldn't check it that day.I went back 2 days later on a Saturday and the box was locked,I wasn't able to go in immediately Monday morning so I called instead.I called 5 times and every time it just rang then went to a busy tone,I don't understand why no one could answer the telephone.My husband works nights and he had to wake up after 4 hours of sleep just to drive to the post office because no one answered the phone. read more
