Arlington post office is terrible. They put a package in the mailbox today that they knew was too big to fit in there and should have just been left at the door with the rest of the packages. It took me some time to get out. We are also still getting mail for people who haven't lived at our residence for years. There are some decent friendly employees there but other than that they have a lot of things they need to improve on. read more

They have less open hours (9AM to 4PM Mon-Fri, closed Sat/Sun) than the banks I deal with. No postal kiosk in lobby for stamp purchases/weighing packages for postage... A town the size of Arlington deserves better. If you are only open when most of your customers are also at work, put back in a kiosk so we can buy postage/weigh & mail packages from your lobby... read more

I came in last week at like 4:10 (I didn't realize they closed at 4). The employee standing at the door informed me they were closed. She saw my pink slip that said I just needed to pick up a package so she said she would give it to her supervisor to get for me. I thanked her and waited. A few moments later, he opened up the door and saw I was holding my toddler. He said "I am going to carry this out to your car". I was blown away by his generosity. I didn't know how I was going to get that big of a box out to my car! He was so friendly and told me he had grandkids my sons age. I was appreciative of his kindness. The clerks at the Arlington, TN post office are always pleasant and helpful but last week, Patricia was amazing. I had a box of toys for my grandchildren and the box was bigger than I needed and would have cost over $30 to ship. Patricia gave me an extra box she had and we repacked it and it ended up less than half the price to ship. I am so appreciative of her kind efforts. Thank you. read more

Just terrible.....I think the people working the counter need to find another form of work. Expect less than average customer service and a snarl or a dirty look from any of the people working including the supervisor. I've been to this post office multiple times over the past 4 years. This is a nice, little post office. They carry a decent selection of mailing supplies. However, I do have a couple of beefs. They no longer have a stamp machine in their lobby to purchase stamps when they're closed (annoying). Also, there's usually only one person working and the line can get insane. read more

I had two packages ready to mail. One wouldn't scan and the other needed insurance. They were printed through PayPal. I was at the Post Office with my two year old and four year old which added another level of difficulty, but fortunately they weren't very busy. Between the two women I talked to at the counter, neither was willing to take the effort to find a solution that didn't involve me running home to reprint them. The employees seemed very perturbed at my presence. It would have been really simple for them to key in the information for the one item and charged for and printed me a new label for the other one. Or if they were really concerned about the one label not scanning, they could've charged me for postage for both packages and printed out labels. I could have gone home and voided the PayPal labels later. Due to their lack of customer service and simple problem solving skills I will not return to this Post Office. read more

I went into the post office where I was greeted by a postal employee. There were no customers so he was waiting behind the desk area. He was very friendly. I asked him about what I needed and he informed me that he had just what I needed and how to pay him for the item, fill in the address and I could hand the item back to him or place in the box outside the postal doors. It was a quick and easy process thanks to the help of the postal employee. read more
