This is located across the street from Sprouts and Target. There is plenty of parking and it is never a full lot. Upon entering there were 3 people working the desk. It didn't take too long to be helped. I had an item that needed to be shipped out and the worker was quick and quiet. Service at the desk by Cec... was great. She was professional and helpful. Didn't even need to be nice which is always welcomed since we're paying customers and helping them stay employed. HOWEVER. When i first arrived, i had a simple question in wanting to locate the correct envelope that cost $33 flat and saw an employee in the lobby restocking boxes, etc. Employee "Nan.." would not have it. I said "excuse me" and before i could say another word, she states "go to the desk". Then i attempted to ask again as I only needed the correct envelope which i didn't see in the area and she again states "go to the desk" and couldn't even help me. When it was finally our turn, I was told I needed to fill out a short form. However, as I was filling it out, another family was called to be serviced and I had to again wait but I ended up leaving because at this point, I have been there for an hour and a half. There seriously needs to be a new system in place. Relying on an outdated paper sign-in sheet in 2025 is beyond inefficient. There's absolutely no differentiation between people with appointments and walk-ins, so no one knows who's supposed to be seen when. Why not just let people know ahead of time? They seriously can have a better system in place. There was only one person working, and the pace was painfully slow. I had a very disappointing experience at this post office when applying for a passport. The woman who assisted me was extremely unprofessional. I clearly told her I did not need expedited shipping, but she insisted that "this location only uses Priority Mail envelopes" and gave me no other option. As a result, I had to pay over $31 extra for shipping. What makes this even more frustrating is that my friend applied for a passport the next day at the Chino Hills Post Office, using regular mail with no expedited service--and yet his documents arrived at the passport center a full day earlier than mine. I applied earlier, paid more, and still had a slower delivery. I don't understand why this location forces customers to pay extra when it's clearly not required elsewhere. I ended up spending over $265 just to apply for one passport and card --something that has never happened to me when using the Chino Hills Post Office. This experience was frustrating, costly, and left me feeling taken advantage of. If you have other options, I highly recommend not coming to this post office for passport services. Especially if you're trying to expedite your application--don't do it here. You're better off going directly to a federal passport agency. read more

Not my usual USPS office so I wasn't familiar with where to drop off packages so I got in line. Plenty of parking spaces available. It wasn't too bad around 11am. I liked that they had readily available hand sanitizer on the counter. There were 2 employees behind the counter and they were each helping someone. Luckily the kind lady with the skeleton hair clip was able to help me out after wrapping up with the customer she was helping out. She was efficient and thorough with the whole process. Incredibly rude customer service. Came in with pre-packaged items that have no labels. After waiting in line and ready to ship my boxes I was angrily told to go write down the addresses. Went out of my way to go here. I have had no issues with employees taking down addresses on their computer at my local post office. To get so upset and act dramatic over something so simple is toxic. My trip this time was good. I usually have a pretty pleasant experience at this location--Paula (I think is her name) is always a joy to see and so speedy. I just went in to get some stamps this time and they actually opened about 10 mins early which was nice. Earlier this year I got 2 passports through this office and that was kind of a nightmare. The passport lady can be kind of rude depending on the day you catch her. She told me not to include the full passport application and when I omitted the "instructional page" that she insisted I throw out, I got a call from the government saying they needed that page. So when I went back, she was super irritated and rude and said, "no, they've never don'e that before, they don't need this page, you must have done something else wrong. " So this time I insisted that to keep the page in there and then I received my passport. I had to pay for to ship it again though and it was a headache. All in all, the staff behind the counter is always pleasant and nice, but I'd suggest getting your passport elsewhere. read more

This post office is incompetent. I made two appointments to complete my passport. At the first appointment I was told they were short staffed and I would need to come back another time. It happens and I was understanding. On the second appointment, the only worker that could help me went to lunch. When the supervisor came out, he informed me that she was the only one that could do it and he couldn't help me. What kind of supervisor can't do the work of the people he supervises? What a useless position. What's the point of having an appointment if you aren't going to follow the system? Do better. read more

I really enjoy going to this Post Office. The wait is normally reasonable, the associates are pleasant and helpful, the hours are convenient (Saturday hours too), there is plenty of parking and the number of mail pick up are good. This is the best one in the area. read more

I hate this post office so much, because of them I had to pay double the passport fees since they messed up my original application. It was a big headache and stress for me with a trip coming up and having to spend all that extra money. I paid the original 130$ fee for the passport service, they gave me the wrong application causing my process to be delayed and I payed another 35$ to reship my application. Still not here in time I had to redo my application a 3rd time and pay an extra 95$ on top of having to redo my pictures again costing me another 30$. I don't recommend anyone doing anything here.. not even a simple task. Because of them I had so much stress and anxiety with a little mistake they made. They didn't even take me into the passport room they did my application on the counter which is probably why it was wrong and they had no idea what they were doing. read more

Today my sister made an appointment to the Brea location and it's her first time applying to get a passport for her and her daughter. The person in the front that was attending her got upset because she didn't know how fill out an application and she asked for someone to help her. She was treated really bad and she was really rude she left not able to get her passport. This Hispanic lady must really hate her job. she should let be there if she is not willing to do her job and help people that have questions this is her job, It was very disappointing to go through this and hire people that are not trained and have good customer service. read more

I dropped off a phone here on July 5 with a representative by the name of Mark. The company that the phone was supposed to go with is claiming they never received the device. I accidentally missed placed the receipt of my drop off which contains the weight of the box which is needed for the dispute. However, I went today to get a receipt and a gentleman by the name of Mark claim that their system is down and won't be running till October 15 the earliest. I advised him that that wasn't mentioned to mention to me at the branch by my house in Anaheim . The only thing that was mentioned was they were not able to pull the receipt there since the transaction wasn't hard there. I feel like I wasn't helped appropriately and I feel like I was lied to. Mark sucks so I got to say I wish I was more helpful people who worked in government. read more

The parking kicks ass, getting in and out is easy, it's roomy inside, and the service just is excellent. It's been this way since forever! The line was pretty long during the first week of December which is to be expected but the self-service kiosk was mostly ignored. I was able to purchase stamps quickly and easily and this made my visit 10x shorter than it would have been had I stood in line. Granted, I'm all for technology as I'm an avid self-checker-outer so I'm bias to machines that help me do the things. There was an older lady that arrived shortly after me and asked for help because she couldn't figure out how to use the machine. I could see how the kiosk could be discouraging to some but I honestly loved it and I wish they'd have one at every post office. Was this a dream or was it real? I had to pinch myself, the USPS is changing the way they do business, in a good sort of way. I felt like a VIP customer when I was greeted upon walking in and assisted by someone before even making it to the counter. The young man even picked up two envelope mailing choices for me, broke down the price difference in mailing options, then proceeded to ring me up on a mobile device and printed out my receipt. When he asked me if I needed anything else like Christmas stamps, I happened to see the 2015 Charlie Brown Christmas Forever Stamps and had to get them, especially when he told me they have been selling well. What a lovely post office. Came here to complete the new passport applications in person for my little ones. Called ahead to find out more and was told to make an appointment online. Easy process and found the door to get passports done, signed in and waited for 5-10 mins and got everything taken care quickly! Now waiting for the physical passport to show up in my mail! The guy I spoke to on the phone seems like he doesn't know anything. I called to inquire about label printing options since I'm trying to return a package and don't have a printer at home. He said there were none. I had to do some digging online and found out that USPS offers a label broker feature, and I checked online to make sure that the location I called has the feature. It does.
