Now years later, as I have grown and now work a full-time job, I am sitting here with my coworkers who are all also complimenting the excellent service Tom has always provided them with. BUT one of the letter carriers was putting mail into my condo association's mailboxes and talking to one of the owners. She had her mask under her chin, was standing just a couple of feet from the other person and was laughing and chatting. I know masks are not comfortable, but this kind of behavior is irresponsible and dangerous to anyone she subsequently comes in contact with. And vice versa.

Today I watched one staff person go in back to dig up some empty small cardboard (nonpriority mail) boxes for a customer who came in with loose items to ship. Everyone involved acted as if this were perfectly normal. My jaw was the only one on the floor. The staff in other cities don't even talk to you unless your package is taped up and ready to go. One woman that works there will literally be in her pajamas on her shift. I already can't stand coming in there but I'm writing this review because of a particular instance I just had. I walked in to drop off a prepaid label and the second I walk in music is blaring off of a portable speaker. They're playing ratchet dance music and the pajama girl literally twerked multiple times while customers were in there. Just the most completely unprofessional group of employees I've ever seen. I had a question I asked pajama girl and she obviously has something crawled up where the sun don't shine cause as I was walking out I heard her talking about me disrespectfully. Truly ignorant and repulsive staff.

I came in with a bunch of Amazon returns. Only one had to be processed at the counter, the rest I was able to complete at the self serve kiosk. The employee who helped me was so unfriendly. The issue was, she walked away from the register in the middle of my transaction. Didn't say a word to me and just left me standing there. After about 5-7 minutes of me waiting, I asked the other employee if she knew where the other girl went or if she could help me. She just continued waiting on new customers while I stood there. The other employee eventually finished my transaction and I never saw the other girl. Service here has gone downhill, might be worth the drive to the Southington location.

So I reply yes, this is paid just needs the QR scanned to which she replied, "that's not that quick"- bs. Then she purposely takes a guy to buy stamps before me which is more of a transaction than scanning a code as if to teach me a lesson. Then she gets wise with her mouth and tries notice I said "tries" to tell me off in front of the other patrons. Calling me rude. I don't think so. The customer is always right. Do your job and shut your mouth. Prob won't go back but hopefully next time I do she's been fired!!

Mike was also very patient with me while answering all my ignorant questions about how to "refuse delivery" on a package. I think they could pack eggs and have them show up unbroken 3,000 miles later. They partner with Yellow Freight which brings the cost to half of what other shippers charge (who use various mail services). When Yellow Freight forgot to scan the four handmade box crates in Chicago (apparently quite unusual) and we weren't sure where they were, Scott offered to call Yellow Freight and described the crates so that could be more easily found. Everything arrived in perfect order and the boxes & inserts that Scott made were amazing. This is a family business, run by Scott and his wife, and they care about what they do. It shows.
