Sometimes they just leave the office wide open and employees just leave and play hooky on the clock.

This office is a disaster. I can't believe this is affiliated with the federal government. I've never had more confusing experiences and threatening experiences at any other USPS location in the whole country. I am routinely yelled at here for no apparent reason and for following all procedures and protocols exactly, and I'm often told to leave the lobby and come back at another time when the office is supposed to be open?. Today for example, I arrived at this location at 11AM to scan in a priority mail package, and the office supposedly opened at 9AM; I was yelled at, like I did something wrong, and told to return at 11:35? None of this seems to make any sense; It would be nice to know that someone was managing this location, but it doesn't seem like anyone really cares. Would it be so hard to just clean this place up and train a couple employees that do not not yell at customers for following the rules? Several of the clerks here seem as though they need a psych evaluation, because I have been screamed at here for following the rules and not doing a single thing that you would yell at someone for. In fact it is the clerks who don't follow correct procedure and are the major problem here. What a joke!!

I usually leave here feeling insulted and annoyed. There is more attitude than employees.

DeJoy should be ground up put in boxes and his remains should be shipped through this post office so that his loved ones never receive them.

There was a line, but it was moving fast. All the workers were kind and helpful. I was directed to the passport window, and the woman in the window was nice, helpful, and accommodating. I lost my old passport, and she walked through the documents needed with me (I do be staying prepared). She told me the prices, so I could write the checks on the spot, and answered all the questions I had about delivery time. I cannot speak on the experiences that everyone else had with postage, but my passport application here was perfectly a-okay.

I get it.....it''s not the easiest job, and I appreciate the workers' efforts in general ar USPS.....but I have no words to describe just how awful this branch is. They lost an entire architectural model, just returned to sender rather than even notify me. I watched a woman go into a crying fit over a lost package, where she begged and begged for them to look...after 3 tries they finally looked, 5 minutes later...PRESTO! package was found! If you send someone a package here, make it a loud color so the employees have an easier time finding it, as there obviously is a shortage of staff. It's been awful since 1995 when I moved to Williamsburg, so it's only worse now. We need a Northside branch.

The employee spoke so quietly that I couldn't hear what she was saying. When I politely told her I couldn't hear, she became impatient and raised her voice at me in a rude manner. I explained that I was there to purchase a money order, after showed her the amount, she directed me to look at the payment screen. When I noticed the amount was higher than I expected and politely asked why, she responded impatiently that there was a fee for the money order. Since this was my first time purchasing a money order, I kindly asked what I should do next. Instead of explaining the process, she shouted, "Give me your card!" While I was looking through my wallet for my debit card, I noticed she was laughing and chatting pleasantly with her coworkers. However, every time she spoke to me, her tone was cold, impatient, and hostile, as if I had done something wrong simply by asking questions. I completed my purchase and still thanked her before leaving, but I walked away feeling upset and disrespected. No customer should be made to feel intimidated for asking simple questions, especially when they're unfamiliar with a service. I left feeling like I wasn't treated with basic courtesy or respect. I hope USPS provides better customer service training so that every customer is treated with patience and kindness. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I will avoid returning to this location if possible.
