Stopped here to mail a large envelope. We wanted to check the postage requirement to avoid it being delivered with postage due. We also needed to buy more stamps. They seem to last forever now since we just don't mail that much anymore. Another reason to call them forever stamps! Anyhow, the girl at the counter was super helpful and friendly. Though there are self service stations you do sometimes actually need to interact with a real person. Overall pleasant experience. Parking was plentiful. read more

This is my usual post office. I come here to send packages and mail when I'm out of stamps. I never have to wait long. Even if there is a line, it moves quickly. They mailing supplies if needed. They have self service stations available, even outside of normal hours. They also have a drive through where you can drop your mail or small packages if you have the postage on them. You won't get a receipt though; it's just your average blue drop box. read more

I came here recently mid morning. Needed international forever stamps. There was a line, holiday time, but it moved reasonably quickly and there were 4 postal workers manning stations. I was glad it moved quickly, it was my second visit to a USPS counter that am, as the first did not have the stamp selection I was looking for. Happily this location did, and they had plenty of them too. That's the sign of a good location manager: Plenty of different stamps to choose from, something for everyone. When I mentioned the stamps the postal employee mentioned that Great Braitain was not accepting forever stamps. First I knew I this. And I send a lot of snail mail. To a lot of countries. So I found that a very useful piece of info. Some of my mail does indeed go to Great Britain. I guess they want stamps with actual dollars and cents written out on them. That's going to be hard for a lot of people to manage in this day and age, but I'm glad I learned of this now. Large building, plenty of PO Boxes off on the side, and a few "self serve" stamp machines as well. They had lines too when I was there. This is a larger post office and has pretty good parking, although a bad entrance into the parking lot, people coming around a corner, so pay attention and look behind you as you back out. Since its next to Wegmans on Sheridan I assume its a busy Post Office, hence the nice sized parking lot. But those people are in a hurry. So pay attention. read more

If you go to this post office location do yourself a favor and work with Darlene. I came in to send an international package and she walked me through the steps patiently and helped me get the package sent successfully. She was kind, helpful and very knowledgeable. Definitely would recommend working with her if you go. read more

Stopped here with a friend who was shipping a package, and I picked up stamps. Very short line (even though it was the lunch hour) and staff was friendly. In addition to shipping supplies, they also sell greeting cards here too! What a good idea! This is a high volume traffic area, so getting out of the parking lot was a little chaotic when we were there. read more

Packages delivered from Amazon get delivered to the wrong address several times a month. This has never happened with Fedex or UPS and we get way more packages from them. It's so bad that one of the neighbors who received our package left a note for us to, "Call them because we are not always home." read more

This was the worst experience I've ever had at a post office. Came here to get my wife and daughter passports and was rudely greeted by Andrea. I guess her shift was about over as she displayed absolutely zero effort to help us. Big shout out to manager Stephen too; took no responsibility and redirected us to another post office. Don't go to this post office. Ever. Update: Left this tire-fire of an establishment and headed to the post office off Cayuga. Great experience. We told the pleasant attendant at Cayuga about our experience at the Sheridan office, and she said that Andrea was "infamous" for her rudeness. She wondered why Andrea hadn't been fired yet. I have mixed feelings about my trip here this morning. Customer service: 5 Stars Self-help machine: 1 Star All-in-all, 4 stars. I can't blame this particular location on the horrible self-help machine. That's the whole USPS's issue. I had 2 packages to mail. One to Erie, PA, and one to Morgantown, WV. Both had the same things in them and same weight. I used those prepaid, flat rate boxes. Using the self-help machine was confusing and difficult. I wanted (and expected) the machine to put the address on the sticker and I just pay for it there. I started with the Morgantown package. I typed in the address, paid, and put the sticker on the package. I noticed that the sticker didn't have the address on it. Just said "Morgantown, WV" I assumed the deliverer would just scan the bar code and know what to do. When I started with the Erie package. All it had was put in the zip code and then print the sticker. I was confused as to why it wouldn't let me put in the whole address like the first one did. I decided to just wait in line to get it all sorted out. When I got to the lady at customer service, she was super friendly and helpful! I guess I had to write the address on the sticker for the Morgantown package. Which I didn't know... The packages came to about $12 each and I don't remember the cost of the boxes when I got them. When I go back, I will be sure to just go in line and not bother with the machine. It was not helpful at all. read more

Never get our mail, never get our packages. I'm always calling them to figure out why because they always say they tried to deliver it but couldn't access our building, or incorrect address or etc. which we have one door, and they don't need access into the door. They can easily leave it by the door. So obviously they are not even at the right building. When they do deliver it, we have found out packages at a whole nother building on other peoples door steps, strangers bringing us our mail or packages. It's absolutely insane. They absolutely cannot get it right. We know our address, they just need to figure something out. read more

I've never actually gone through the line at this location. I usually come here after hours on my way to and from Wegmans to either mail packages or to get stamps from the stamp machine. Very convenient and easy access. Highly recommend if you aren't particular about which stamps you get. There aren't many choices but I find them to be perfect for mailing bills, etc. read more

On Greiner rd. they always deliver the mail to the wrong houses. they need reading glasses, and I mean that. The carriers are awful.

Don't trust this location for passport processing. They provided incorrect information about acceptable forms of identification and became argumentative when questioned. I later confirmed their was incorrect by calling another passport acceptance location AND the .gov website. Try the post office on Cayuga Road instead. read more

I've been coming here for about 2 years now business related. I have never had any issues with an agent until today KAUR, she has the worst customer service ever. Not only was the wait time about 25-30minutes, I reached the front of the line just to be sent back to the back of the line, I then reached KAUR again who told me she forgot to tell me I had to fill something else out. I then asked if she can check my mail (business) as it's on hold due to the pandemic. She told me I didn't have any mail on hold but she wrote down the wrong address. I've been here already now for over 1 hour. The people before me seemed a bit frustrated with her. I reached the line again asking questions, she seemed unsure and simply impatient. I allowed another lady to go as I googled my question the lady was picking up mailbox keys that she prepaid for online Kaur told her to come back tomorrow before 10am. WTH! I don't understand why this lady doesn't want to do her job. When I come I always run into two lady's working (African American and other Caucasian) both extremely pleasant. I can't believe my experience today totally unacceptable. $60 later I still have to mail more things and unfortunately I'd rather travel a bit to a different location. This lady completely ruined my experience. She could use some customer service training. read more

If you did I would have cashed it. How about a little accountability for your misplaced mail. Sterling told me my story is full of holes because I didn't chase the mail lady down the street when I checked the mail box and it wasn't there. I had a problem with my package and the "manager" sounded as if talking to me was the worst thing for her all morning, she didn't have a clue as to why my package couldn't be delivered and was entirely unhelpful. Not to mention the wait was ridiculous just for a 5 minute conversation where she couldn't help me. read more

I am having some issues with my mail delivery due to my dog getting out of the yard last week. We are taking our carriers safety very seriously and doing everything we can to make our property safe for them to resume service. I have no complaints about my carrier following protocols and ensuring their safety. My complaint is with Bret/Brad a supervisor at this location who today instructed his employees not to give me my mail when I stopped in to pick it up. His reasoning I will not correct the issue with my dog if they make it easy for me to get my mail. The employee and I were both flabbergasted. She said she just transferred from another office and had never heard of holding someone's mail hostage. I told them I could go home and get the letter that instructed me to go to the post office to pick up my mail. At that point Bret/Brad brought out my mail. I understand keeping our carriers safe but I do not understand this hostile behavior by management at this branch. It's astounding. read more
