When I visit the Highlands Ranch branch I just always seem to breeze through in only a few short minutes but at this spot it really gets backed up with long lines. This is the worst Post Office experience in existence. Over the four years that I have lived in this garbage city, I have experienced every conceivable mistake with regards to the independent contractor delivery person for our neighborhood. The main issue is that the idiot that delivers our mail never gets it right. Throughout the week, you can see my neighbors and I walking around hand delivering mail that was incorrectly delivered. And that is the mail that people do not either keep for themselves (steal), or simply throw away. So, we never know if we are actually receiving our mail or not. Yesterday, I received a parcel; with a controlled substance med, that Blue Cross had sent me. "A controlled substance"... It was incorrectly delivered to one of my neighbors. They were kind enough to walk the distance to my home and deliver it to me. It is frightening to think what could have happened if it would have gotten to someone who would have abused it, or allowed a child to access it. The Castle Rock Post Office sucks. You don't even want to know how bad the Barney Fife police department is... This place is a nightmare, and I am leaving. read more

I really wish I could dictate to Amazon and other online shopping services to not use USPS when sending me packages. UPS gets packages to me reliably, every time. The post office will sometimes deliver them to other people. Sometimes those people are nice enough to bring the packages to my door, sometimes I just have to contact the seller for non-delivery refunds or a resend. Other times, USPS will mark a package due for today as delivered today (at say, 9 PM). Then, I'll see it the next day. I imagine it's to maintain their on-time delivery rate. read more

A week ago, I mailed 3 packages to relatives in Europe. Last night, one of those packages was in my mail box. Some incompetent idiot did not read the label. Now Christmas is ruined for someone, due to the incompetence of the people in this post office. I see that others have given a poor review. I did not receive a package so I called to find out where it was. The lady on the phone was rude and hung up on me twice. I ask to speak with her boss and all she would tell me is "his name is John, that all" unprofessional and thr lack of concern was unbelievable. read more

US Post Office - Just when I thought things couldn't get worse they're driving on the sidewalk and they delivered ALL my mail to the wrong box today - Post Offices Near Me - Castle Rock, Colorado

Wow... I've lived in a good amount of places in my lifetime & NEVER have I had this bad of an experience(s) with a post office. My biggest & most annoyed complaint is that this PO is CONSTANTLY marking packages as delivered and it's not true, there's no package, there's not even any freaking mail! They don't even come, yet they say all my tracked packages are delivered. It's so annoying, I can't even explain. I receive a lot of packages, but they are NEVER delivered when they are supposed to be. I've had NUMEROUS packages and mail delivered to me that are for other addresses, I end up having to deliver them personally to the correct recipient. I should get a job there, at least I know I'd do my job correctly & not lie about when a package is delivered. It's incredibly frustrating that this PO is so horrible to deal with. Such a big station with lots of parking but not enough people working at the counter. If I could have gotten non traditional forever stamps from the automated machines I wouldn't even need to stand in line. Usually i get regular stamps but at the request of my daughter i am getting "cute" stamps. Most of the people here are a lot older than me. I really hate this location! It's difficult to get in and out of due to a heavy traffic street. Whenever I have to come here, I'm waiting 15+ mins. Two, sometimes just one worker helping a huge line of people. Then u got ur customers that carry on questions and conversations!!! Hello!? Move along!! I have lived at my current condo address for 14 years - the service has always been fine with very few delivery issues. This year, 2017, has been bad. I did not receive my Property Tax Bill for my land - if I had not called the Assessor's Office - not paid attention to missing my Tax Bill - I could have lost my property to a tax sale. I have tried to call the Post Office however the wait time to "talk/file a complaint" to a person is 30 minutes or more. I receive other owners mail in my mail box. What is going on with our Postal Service? Are they not paying their people well enough to keep quality people who pay attention? No wonder their is credit card and Identity theft going on - our mail service cant be trusted to deliver to the correct addresses! I will have to drive down to the Castle Rock Post office I guess - to file a complain and hope to discuss this with the Post Master. I will be moving more to on-line transactions I guess - and stop using the US Postal Service all together. read more

Good chance your package will not make it to you. The most recent example is paying for rush shipping, tracking it to the post office and then the tracking stops. Almost 2 weeks later I still do not have my package. This is not the first issue I have had personally as several birthday cards from my family never arrived either.This appears to be a common thing as I see numerous complaints. A couple of days ago I stopped in to mail a Priority Mail package. As usual, there were about 10 people waiting in line in front if me. Well, I was just about bowled over when a clerk approached me and said, she could help me if I was only mailing the Priority package and was going to pay by credit card! She pulled me from line and I was out the door a few minutes later! Well done Castle Rock USPS! I also noted that there were 3 others serving customers at windows. This post office has the worst mail delivery service I have ever experienced. I have contacted the supervisor 3 times where I've been told things would be addressed and the late, wrong box delivery, and unprofessional actions by the carrier would be corrected. I've had mail never show up in my box. Mail order prescriptions show up several days past the tracking deliver date, two neighbor hoods worth of mail in my box and numerous times I've received neighbors mail and numerous times neighbors have received my mail. I have now filed a complaint with the Inspector General. read more

I used to have really good service here. Now I realize what everyone was talking about. I had to use the counter which I rarely do. The women spoke extremely broken English. I had purchased some envelopes the previous time I was in and so when she asked if I 'wanted to buy postage' I said yes. I mean how else am I going to ship items if I don't pay for postage?! I thought the price was a little high but one of my envelopes was international so I was assuming it was that. When I got to my car I looked closer and realized she charged me for the envelopes themselves. Which, I has already paid for. I called and spoke to the what I'm assuming is the manager. I explained the situation and he practically told me 'oh well' so I had to pay almost $10 more, for stupid envelope. Seriously, this place can kick rocks. I'm on the phone right now to speak to the main USPS to 1) make a massive complaint and 2) see if they can do something others than telling me 'oh well.' read more

I have little to nothing good to say about the Cattle Rock Post Office. The only good thing is that they finally got a couple of people who are friendly and will smile at you. All in all the customer service is terrible. My mail is delivered to my neighbors, when I contact them about the terrible service it's always somebody else's fault. I received a small stack of mail one time that was five and a half months old containing payments from clients, and bills. If I didn't love Castle Rock so much I'd move simply because of the horrific customer service with the Castle Rock Post Office. When possible, I go to the Sedalia post office. Almost every day I get mail to the wrong address, makes me wonder if I'm not receiving mail I'm supposed to get. Our mailman usually doesn't deliver mail until late at night, which means it sometimes sits out overnight - not good. In addition, our mailman will say that they've attempted to deliver a package and leave it at the front door. We have had a person home the entire day without such attempts. This has happened multiple times and has resulted in us having to go to the post office due to so many "failed delivery attempts". However, I have not received mail for the past 2 days. We're going on our third day without any mail. We know we haven't had our mailman visit us because we've had things out for delivery with the flag up for this amount of time without being picked up. We've tried contacting them but their line has been busy. We're also on hold with the national postal service for 30 to 40 minutes. Too bad one star is as low as you can get. read more
