I didn't have the original packaging, so they wrapped it in 3 layers of bubble wrap, built a box around that and wrapped THAT in several more layers of bubble wrap liberally securing it with about three rolls of packing tape per layer, (Another slight exaggeration). It did take me about 15 minutes to get it unpacked and it was in perfect condition. this was a legacy from my sister who passed away so it was a lot more important to me than just a sound system and I was very grateful they did such a great job. They partner with Yellow Freight which brings the cost to half of what other shippers charge (who use various mail services). When Yellow Freight forgot to scan the four handmade box crates in Chicago (apparently quite unusual) and we weren't sure where they were, Scott offered to call Yellow Freight and described the crates so that could be more easily found. Everything arrived in perfect order and the boxes & inserts that Scott made were amazing. This is a family business, run by Scott and his wife, and they care about what they do. It shows.
