Tis the mail season. Stamps are expensive. Finding right addresses sucks. This post office continues to be a bit above average for me-- as the location is right between my gym and children's school. Supes convenient. Monday thru Friday the last collection is at 5:15PM. Saturday it is at 4PM. (USPS is closed on Sunday.) Also shout out to USPS! I wanted some holiday-ish stamps (but not way too holiday-ee if you know what I mean?) and they delivered. I found some adorable woodland creatures with holiday vibes on their website. Got it in the mail days later-- last time I ordered online they took FOREVER to arrive. (Like after the holiday season forever.) Today I dropped off my holiday cards (with said adorable woodland creature stamps). It's such a shame the folks who deliver mail out here in our TH association can't read or perhaps they need glasses or maybe they just don't care??? When you can't trust your mail to be delivered into your mail box, which happens consistently since day one 4 years ago! It's a consistent problem! And, we can never get any resolve even when we call to complain! They' expect t me to track the mail down!!! Neighbors either throw it out or open it and drop back in the box to be delivered or you never get your mail it at all! American workers are the worst! A postal worker passed me on the shoulder while I waited for the person infront of me to turn left. I went to the post office to file a complaint and Manager Steven Bowe on cell phone video refused to take said complaint with dash cam video. Video was too long to put here. Was forced to call and jump through numerous hoops to finally file the complaint and submit the videos. read more

The mail delivery is excessively late each day, well after 5 pm, and occasionally is not delivered at all.

The day before, I had grabbed Priority Express envelopes to send a number of parcels. When I brought the packed and addressed parcels in, the clerk said "Are you *sure* you want to send these Express? That'll cost you a whole lot. You can send them Priority for much less, and they'll get there Monday instead of Sunday, tomorrow." The clerk handed me a half dozen Priority envelopes, a marker, and pointed me at a work table. The parcels cost about 20% what they might have, and got there in plenty of time. Thanks! read more

The carriers on the weekends can't read or not trained or just freaking incompetent. They don't deserve 1 star! The person delivering on Saturday AUGUST 24 at Blue Sage Drive at 12:55 said they delivered my package but NOT TO MY MAIL BOX!!! Then they expect me to look for it! Well, guess what, the package is nowhere to be found! It's a chronic problem at this Coralville post office! Just makes me NOT WANT TO ORDER ONLINE BECAUSE IT'S always HIT or MISS WITH DELIVERY when USPS is used! Try calling them! No one there! Phone is not answered! read more

The staff at the Coralville post office is really friendly and helpful. They go out of their way to help solve problems. I had a package of books that was misaddressed and appeared to not be moving through the system. I took the package tracking number to the counter and explained the problem. Staff located the package in the system and had it delivered to me the next day! I can't be happier with their service. read more

Came here to ship 9 book boxes through media mail for shipping. We were lucky because there weren't that many people in line when we arrived but at least 10 people came in after us. Dori was very very helpful, thank you so much! She was really patient to help us add shipping labels to all of our boxes, add insurance on them, put "caution heavy" stickers on them, and explain that they all have tracking numbers on the receipt and to keep the receipt in case of claims. Outstanding customer service. Dori's coworker though was not a happy customer service representative. Even though she was not even helping us, she gave snide comments on our boxes taking up too much room and glared at us from across the room. Yes I realize that but there's nowhere else to put them while we waited for processing and we are also trying to get done asap so we can be out of the way. What the heck! read more

worst usps in Iowa. No mail in 6 days. They definitely don't have good team of people, never accurate and not reliable. 6 days and no mail, outrageous and 20 minutes on hold just to talk with a person, and then get crappy people that had the full to say our mail was still sitting there in day 7 it's 3pm. Well I think I've found my new go-to post office! This location was recently built and while they made it pretty small, it's also easy enough to zip in and out if you don't show up at a rush time (avoid lunch and the post-work day rush hour). I wish they had more self-service options though, like a pay and print stamp kiosk. read more

So this is my local post office and I'm done using the postal service for any of my packages. I order something using my auto filler to put the address in. I go to track my package and it left off my apartment number. I call the post office and they say they'll reschedule a deliver for the following day. I had to take the day off because they said I'd have to sign for it. The package never arrived and they returned it. I call to see what is going on and they say just because it's scheduled for redelivery doesn't mean they'll choose to redeliver it. WHAT?! THEN WHY TELL SOMEONE YOU ARE DELIVERING IT TOMORROW?! They told me it depends on the location on whether or not they'll redeliver it, it's your freaking job. Do it or quit and let someone else who might be competent do it. read more

Customer service stinks. USPS delivers mail to the wrong address and doesn't follow up on it, makes excuses, and doesn't take responsibility for lost packages. Horrible service and I hope companies start using Fed Ex and UPS more. My mailcarrier is great but had the day off, so pkg was delivered to incorrect house and they couldn't track it down. Doubt they even tried. Now I'm out my $$ and they aren't accountable. read more

For over 2 years they have been losing my packages, delivering my my neighbors mail, and giving my mail to my neighbors. There are less than 10 houses on my street, each with their own mailbox, and the carrier has been screwing it up consistently for over 2 years. Every time I call to complain they sigh and take my info, and give me the same excuse "we have temporary workers". They've had freaking temp workers for over 2 years then, and the entire time they've been screwing up things for the entire town. PAY YOUR EMPLOYEES RIGHT AND MAYBE THEY WILL DO THEIR JOB. read more

For some reason, this post office does not think it needs to deliver a package from amazon prime which is to be delivered in 2 days. Instead, they change the shipping label from the address to a post office box so we have to go to the post office and pick up a big package. Like a really big package. Holy cow, are you that lazy! I've never written a review on a post office before, but the Coralville location warrants one. I've always had excellent customer service from this location, and that is apart from the good service the USPS offers already. I sell often online, usually shipping a package or two every week. If I need shipping help, tracking lost items, address changes or what have you, I've always been taken care of here. read more

Did everything they could to mail my package to me that was labeled improperly. I didn't end up getting the package but they helped me to resolve a claim with the shipper who improperly handled the postage. read more

This PO could ruin the reputation of the USPS! Package delivery is hit and miss and the staff on the phone extremely unhelpful. Very difficult getting Amazon Prime packages and their excuses are totally dishonest. They claim they can't get in the building, I checked door myself several times. They claim my mailbox was full but it was completely empty. Today package was left out in the open when there were 3 package lockers unused. I was able to easily slip pkg in, so it was not over-sized. I get mail addressed to other streets and building numbers. Mail I report missing never shows up. read more
