I've placed my mail on hold multiple consecutive times for the mail to be delivered after I've literally said I would come pick the mail up. I ask to speak with management they're always so busy that I cannot speak with them. I've left specific instructions to contact me and they (carrier and t-6) go do the opposite. Calling is pointless as they don't answer the phone. Clerks are too busy gossiping with one another instead of being helpful. There's only one clerk that was professional and did everything he could to assist me. It seems that this office from management on down lack structure, awareness and the basic skills to complete small tasks. It wouldn't hurt to revamp everything and re-train for the lack there of. I know if I delivered someone's hold mail after they requested it to be on hold there would be disciplinary for failure to follow instructions but in this office no one seems to care because it's not affecting them. It's disappointing.

If you choose to go here for walk-ins, against the better judgment of yourself and everyone that has come before you, get there at 12:45 at the latest on Tuesday. You'll wait until 2 to put your name on a list (dont miss when they bring the list out) that will processes you by anywhere from 2:45 to 5:00). They only take 8 people on Tuesday and 4 people on Fridays (get there much earlier on Friday). Or you could just go to Raleigh and not suffer...

Not to mention she seemed annoyed we were there and when i asked if we could schedule an appt. did everything she could to not do it. For example, "there isn't an appt. For 3 weeks." And "well my computer is down." (Of note she had just processed the lady in front of us, passport, so we know that's likely a lie). We show up the following Friday with all of our documentation , EARLY, and that's when we found out they only take 4 people during that hour and we weren't even allowed to wait in case they finish early and could process ours. She pointed to the rest of the post office and said "we don't just do passports and ALL these people are waiting." I looked around and saw at least 3 other people working the window and other than the 4 waiting for passports there were only 3 people in line for other postal concerns. Save you effort and time. That's just laziness. 930, just in time for the average person to be at work and not able to go. Way to serve the community who pays your salaries. Anyways, this one opens at 830. Good on them for it too. If this one isn't too far out of your way, give it a shot. Parking is a little whacky and it is small, but I'd say this is probably the best post office in the general area.

Just ask and he'll post a notice about your event in the window and display your business cards. He's also started showcasing some really nice dichroic glass jewelry made by a local artist. The store offers monthly billing for those with accounts. I've even gone in by mistake without my wallet, and they've trusted me for the payment. Great people, friendly atmosphere, and you're supporting a local business AND the post office, too. Two thumbs up!

worst customer service ever. i dropped a package two days ago, which still did not show tracking in…read morethe online system so i called to ask about it. the woman who works there started telling me how this is a worldwide problem due to corona... and i replied that when i drop packages at milton road or any other po the tracking will show in the system the same day. immediately she started yelling and talking over me, making no sense at all... when i interrupted her yelling, asking her to confirm that my package is indeed en route, she just rudely hung up the phone on me. also be aware, this usps employee since being the only person working at this station, takes her child to work with her, who plays in the lobby without wearing a mask. UPDATE: an acceptance scan "mysteriously" appears within hours of my call.... looks like she had the package just sitting there for the past two days, and had totally forgotten about it. I ended up driving to the one in Butner instead. On my way home, I called the post office and somebody answered. I asked when they opened, and she said 8:30. I stated I was there at 8:30 and waited until 8:45 and asked why nobody was there. The employee replied, "That's none of your business." I asked to speak with the manager and she said, "I am the boss" and hung up. When tried calling back, it immediately hung up so that indicated she was screening my calls. I went back recently during a week day (reluctantly) and I assume it was the same person I talked to the previous time. She was not wearing a mask, she was on her personal cell phone, and she was yelling at her young child. She was rude and asked, "What do you want?" I made a complaint to the USPS but obviously they didn't do anything. Please avoid this Post Office if you can.
