Well they were pretty fast today. However, they are as much as Fedex or UPS so thinking of using them more then the Postoffice.

Customer service is excellent I see many bad reviews but every time I go the clerks are very helpful and respectful. Candice is amazing !!!! I had two heavy packages and one gentleman who works there helped me carry them to my car thank you! And remember it's a post office which is usually busy but there self service machine for packages is so convenient never a long line. read more

Seems like the theme is their customer service. I had ordered an item off Amazon..it was an oversized box that unfortunately would not fit in our mailbox but could be left at our door. However, these wonderful people didn't even put it on their delivery truck, just sent a nice slip saying, "Sorry we missed you please reschedule delivery." Strange! We have a Ring doorbell and no one ever rang our doorbell! The slip said they would try again the next day. So I fill out the back portion with directions for them to leave the package at the door or ring the door bell since someone is always home. And to make double sure they understand I even go online to fill out the electronic reschedule form with my contact information! Next day, nothing. Absolutely nothing. Finally, I send my BF to go get the package and they pretty much told him several excuses... the package is too big..too heavy...we never loaded it into the truck to be honest! is what they were saying then tried to say it was Amazon's fault for sending it to them. SMH My BF is able to lift this box alone to the car and drive it home. I really wish they would've contacted and said Hey! We aren't delivering it..at the very least! Knock on the door and say.. You need to pick it up... SMH read more

This post office doesnt deserve any stars, not only do they mess up our entire streets postal delivery but when they loose something they claim it could have been stolen from my mailbox. I've never had that issue on my street as far as theft goes , however the postal delivery person has frequently mixed up my and my neighbors mail, too lazy to deliver a box to my door and claim no one was home when they were delivering.Then when you call in to complain they say they'll call you right back after they research but no one ever does. I'm still waiting for a call from Israel and someone who's name I couldnt understand but he said it was Odo like Colorado whomever he is. My recommendation avoid at all costs!!! read more

The carrier decided to not deliver my package because she is so lazy. I was expecting a package on July 7th, 2020 from Amazon. I did not receive it, and when checking the tracking details, it said " Unfortunately, USPS ran into an issue when attempting your delivery. They will try again." Therefore, I waited for the next day, but still no package. I waited for three days, and nothing was delivered, so I headed to the local USPS office in El Cajon, 2nd Street on July 10th. I spoke with the manager, who did not know what she was talking about. She later contacted the carrier to find out the reason for not delivering the package. She told me that "the road to my house is too pumpy!!" My package was sitting in the USPS office for more than 3 days because my road is too PUMPY for the carrier to drop the package! i had urgent items that I needed right away, and thats why I ordered them through Amazon for the fast delivery. Apparently, the carrier just decided to not deliver and leave it rotting in the USPS office for three days and not even attempting to deliver again for a stupid excuse. read more

I moved from El Cerrito (92115) on January 25, 2016 to my new home in El Cajon (92021). I posted all the necessary forms for mail referral to my new address and has been receiving mail as per usual. However, in the last few months, my mail has been sent to the former owners' even though it was addressed correctly to my new address. I have advised the mail carrier as well as Postal Inspector "Don" but the mail is still being sent! "Don" informed me that he couldn't understand why this was happening, nevertheless and apparently nothing has been done to correct this matter. I have since visited the Post Office and multiple excuses to this issue. This concern has been sent to Consumer Bob at NBC Channel 7. read more

Honestly, I'm super disappointed. I'm an avid ebay seller and I've caught in to the fact that not everybody does their job the same here. They'll sometimes make my postage a big deal, sometimes they won't. It's really frustrating because my clients get upset even though it's out of my control. I send all 6 of my gifts in the same box, with the same shipping label, and yet 3 were returned to me for "more postage" and the other three were delivered with no issues. One of them even went over seas and they didn't make a big deal out of it. I understand that there are rules and we need to respect them, I'm all about doing what's right, but don't change them depending on what kind of mood you're on. I have no problems with the ladies at the store they're all super friendly which is the only reason why I added two stars and not one. Oh and they definitely need new computers! Better computers, more clients, less lines, more smiles. read more

Worst situation ever. Bought a Po box and did the change of address. 3 days later they sold my PO box to someone else. The supervisor(Rado Zapanta) terrible as a leader can't even solve issues. I saw him two weeks after getting no mails and he said he would call me back with results. No call back, no care for results. All he could say after a month is I have a Million issues. I asked, "why would you get my number and not call me with results" big smile of shame on his face. He found out it was resold 3 days later to someone else. This guy sucks. He works at both location in El Cajon. Stay away from him. Dan, another supervisor did the same thing but he found results immediately but couldn't fix the issue. He got my number and never called back. Is the government teaching them these non return calls skills. Maybe? These places need real leaders and problem solvers. We need the post office but hope this never happens to you. Rose, just refunded me my full Po box money for their stupidity. It took 10 weeks and got no mail. read more

I have to say that I have had MANY unhappy experiences at the Post Office but it never seems to be the case with this one. The employees are all so friendly and nice that you kind of forget that you just waited for 20 minutes to get to the counter. The good thing about this BUSY branch is that the minute the line gets large any available employee jumps to help people which is not the case with some of the other offices in the area! Parking is horrible. Lines are long and the wait is forever! One clerk I was talking to about out going mail from the house, was not very friendly and seemd to argue with me. I will drive across town the other way to a better PO., less wait time and a bigger parking lot. read more

I am SO done with this post office. My company has a PO Box there and month after month we have problems with them. The list of failures on their part is too long to even list here! Most recently though, randomly marking our mail undeliverable/ vacant/ no forwarding address. We have been at his PO box for 3 years! Our customers call in randomly once a month saying "our check got returned. Do we have the right address?". Sure enough the address is correct.... And personally, I call in and Tony answers the phone. I tell him I have a package waiting for me to pick it up. He says no it isn't, it's scheduled to be delivered tomorrow (a Saturday). By the time I call in the next week to ask why it wasn't delivered they tell me it was sent back because it was unclaimed! I am so upset! I told Tony I needed to claim it and he said I didn't! Now I have to find my package because they can't! Thanks a lot USPS! You never fail to screw me over! read more

Totally reminds me of living in a small town because they all recognize the regulars and are friendly, patient and overly helpful to everyone I see going through. It's a post office. Friendly folks. It is what it is. Best time to come in is right when they open

When I go in they are friendly enough but what usually brings me there is, I received a slip in my box that they attempted to deliver a package or registered letter. I work from home and have yet to have them come to my door. They say it's because my house is too far back, There's a big dog (that's on a leash and will lick you to death) and a group of small boulders with a path between them. Other than that you have to go around a corner and there you are. It really takes all of 1 min to get to my house. After 11 years I have stopped getting upset and just go to the post office but sometimes they tell me they can't find my package. When I pitch the bitch the manager comes out, sees it's me and goes to the back and comes back with my letter or package. Other than that, as I said they are nice enough. I usually have people send me things UPS or Fed-X because they come to the door. read more

Barely two clerks present at one time. Parking is horrible, but not too much they can do, no room for expansion AND so much more population since when it was originally built. I have to come to this post office rather than my local one because I cannot stand the clerk at my local post office. This post office has a few clerks that are friendly and they EVEN smile, unlike the Lakeside office! I really like the clerk named Barry. He is really nice and helpful. He gets 5 stars in my opinion. I deducted a star from my rating only due to parking- it gets tight often as this is a very busy post office. Always seems to be a long line, tho it moves along. I do like the self service machine whereby you can weigh and mail your packages on your own. That is a nice feature. read more

Ordered an iPhone case off of Amazon with 2-day priority shipping. The order was delivered yesterday, and 'handed directly to a resident' according to USPS themselves. Ironically, the address I provided is for a BUSINESS and there are ZERO residents in this BUSINESS. A business that REGULARLY uses USPS, FedEx, and UPS because it's a BUSINESS. The mailman here on Greenfield Dr is always putting mail into the wrong mail boxes were always knocking on each other doors over here 569 Greenfield looking for our mail. The workers at the counter are fine, but HEAVEN deliver us from those who are in charge of the POBoxes and packages, not to mention the people who go out on the delivery routes (In the 18 years I've lived in my place, I've received at least 15 items of mail wrongly delivered! So, how many of MY items were misdelivered, and I never got them, bec. other people aren't as honest as me?!?!) Nor do the supervisors rectify dereliction. This Post Office is a travesty. Always fast and friendly. You can swing through the drop-off boxes anytime right off 2nd street, or inside with the self-service machine. If I need further assistance in sending out other packages or certified mailings the staff is quick and knowledgeable. read more

Found a letter on the ground in front of my house, have lost my mail twice (tracking showed accepted by the post office but never got any farther) never found. They have had to come back after initial delivery to deliver mail they missed earlier. When I have tried to call them about lost mail the phone just has a busy signal. read more

Since they changed hours and route persons, my mail delivery and Pick up sucks. On the weekend, Fri-Sat, the mail-person won't Pick up the mail left in my mailbox. Guess he/she wants to go home early! Additionally, this same person has been delivering mail to my address not addressed to me, and sometimes that of my neighbor's. read more
