This post office is usually always busy, but they take the time to take care of you with a smile. I don't usually drop by here often, but I lagged picking up my mail/packages in the full mailbox so they brought them back for me to pick up. Lesson learned, I hope. Lol read more

I go to this post office regularly for bulk mailings. The Weighmaster / Bulk Mailing Specialist, Joe, is always great to work with. To be honest, I was a little overwhelmed with the idea of bulk mailing at first but Joe made it easy to understand and ran through everything in our first appointment After that, my company hit the ground running with mailings and I have been very pleased with our results. read more

Once again a a package to be delivered today and by tracking info it said it was. I sat home all day with front door open and not a single package was pit at my door. This is not the first time this post office fails to up hold any kind of standard ers in delivery service. This has got to be the worst run post office in the United States. This is the nicest post office I've ever been. I came in at 5:04, and they close at 5pm. The lady was very nice to me and helped me anyway, although there were nobody else. Guess what, it took her like another 15 minutes to resolve my issue, but she was very attentive and polite with me. I stopped by the El Cajon Post Office on Lexington to ship a birthday card to my aunt in Philadelphia. A postal worker kindly greeted me as I walked in and asked me what I was trying to accomplish during my visit. She assisted me with the proper envelope and label without hesitation. I checked out pretty quickly and had my aunt's birthday card departing to Philly in know time. 8-) read more

it's a tender annoyance I have with this post office. I've seen it hit highs and lows over 20 years. Lack of consistent good service, policy, and personalities who sometimes got really rough around the edges and who had been blatantly argumentative and rude and a disconnected management that many had disdain for. the latest is a horrible breach. I had a mail hold and instructed them to hold my accumulated mail but instead, I pull up at almost midnight to find a container of mail just sitting by my front door, unsecured and open to be taken by anyone who chooses. I was mortified as very personal mail was in that box. why did they ignore my instructions to hold my mail? how could you as a postal carrier believe it's ok to place a container of mail on someone's step, in full view of the street and exposed at an apartment complex??? this is a total lack of common sense, total lack of attention to detail and my instruction and just laziness and apathy on the part of the carrier. Like who can you trust to carry out instructions??? This post office dropped the ball in a huge way. read more

Firt time here for a passport, the lady name Veronica i think, she was so mean, looked like she was angry with something, the way she talked was not nice at all. When she saw me looked at her name tag, she kind of calmed down. I was so unpleasant for this service. So grateful to have this very well run, friendly and helpful post office in my neighborhood. I just went through a shipping issue from Amazon and it was quickly resolved by Tammi and my local mail delivery person. Lots of time and effort went into this "search and rescue" of my granddaughters special present from Nana and Papa. They found my purchase (at someone else's address...mislabeled by Amazon's third party) and returned it to me when I thought all was lost. I so appreciate Tammi's follow up and communication. Not sure why this post office has so many negative reviews, I've been here many times and always had a good experience. All in all, it's a normal post office just like any other but what I like most is even when the post office is closed the front doors are always open so that you can get to the do-it-yourself kiosk and still print postage and get your packages out. This place and it's employees are a joke. My mailbox was damaged by one of my employees. I installed 2 new mailboxes on my building. I left a note in the old mailbox before removing it for the carrier to let her know what was going on. The note asked to leave a response if there was an issue with it. No response from her. Couple weeks later and I'm getting emails from the water company and SDGE that my mail is being sent back as "undeliverable as addressed". I sent an employee to the post office. He spoke with a supervisor that promised to call me about it. Another week goes by, no phone call. Send the employee back. One random day a guy is walking outside of my building taking pictures. I go outside and ask what he's doing. It's Eddie, the post office supervisor. He says that our building is a "mounted" location, which means the mailbox has to be by the street. Hardly any of my neighbors have that, but whatever. Eddie promised to ask his regional whoever to see if we can leave the boxes on the building instead of at the street. He promises to call me. A week goes by, no call, as usual. Now clients are asking if I've received checks they've mailed to me. Nope. About 10k in checks floating around god knows where. I sent the employee back today. Got on the phone with Eddie. Confronted him about not calling me. "You were on my list". How long is this list? He also said that the letter carrier would leave packages on the porch, but not the mail. So essentially what he's saying is that the letter carrier is too lazy to walk an additional 10 steps to drop the mail. She could not even take the time to reply to my letter I left in the box. Total government, lazy ass bullshit. Plain and simple read more
