I had two cutting boards/stands packaged and shipped to my son in Milwaukee, WI. The package arrived in fabulous condition. He indicated the package didn't even look like it had been handled. These guys are amazing!I had to do a return for an Amazon purchase I made and since I'm not used to doing this, I had no idea I needed the barcode for the return. My cashier was so patient, she walked me through the process had me look at my Amazon orders from my App, and got the bar code I needed for the return. I've been in a couple times to ship things on my way to or from my uncle's house in Boulevard. This location is really convenient being so close to the freeway exit. I probably go various UPS Stores a few times a month and I'm likely to return here, the service is good. It's in a shopping center in between the Walmart and the Smart and Final stores. There's green curb parking right in front and it seems to be available whenever I've stopped in. When I walked up to their store the line was out the door. Everyone must be sending out packages before Christmas. While waiting outside, I saw their sign which is a great reminder for others to be kind to the workers that did show up for work, especially in the busy holiday season. Then while waiting, you could tell all the staff were very attentive and helpful to each customer. Once I got to the front, I was passed to Chloey for her expertise in helping laminate papers and printing posters . She was amazing & so patient. Service is abismal here. Dealt with an employee who had long black hair and the WORST ATTITUDE ever. I was helping my elderly mother return her Amazon returns and one was a very heavy package. I carried everything and didn't ask for help. This nasty employee gave me attitude because we didn't have a box for a shirt and charged us which was fine but she didn't even package it in front of me. I have no confidence she packaged it after I left. She also refused to print a shipping label under the guise of "seller will provide in 5 days" despite the shipping label having already been provided and me having emailed it to her. My experience here was nothing short of excellent. I went first thing in the morning to ship a box. The price was reasonable and I was provided with a tracking number. What really made this an outstanding experience was the gentleman working behind the counter. He was professional and personable and after only a few minutes we felt as if we had been conversing with an old friend or someone we had known for decades. Even if UPS had somehow botched this delivery, the customer service I received here would 100% make me ship with them again. My experience was a textbook example of excellent customer service. The girls in here are super rude! I would literally prefer to go to any other location than this one. I joked around with them about how $161 for 4 boxes was a lot, and they literally all just glared at me, my bad for making an observation. The definition of customer service is "Customer service is the support you offer your customers -- both before and after they buy and use your products or services -- that helps them have an easy, enjoyable experience with your brand." I love this location. The staff is ALWAYS friendly and quick. I usually come here with my Amazon returns. As long as you have your QR codes ready for them you will be in and out in minutes! The only reason I've ever waited is because the customers aren't prepared with the info needed for quick returns. This location will also take USPS mail for you free of charge. A place up the road (name I won't mention) charges you $1 per letter to take to USPS. Now I only do business here at this UPS store. LOVE THEM! read more

I returned (or thought I did) some Direct TV Equipment on or about May 20th, 2024. Sadly, I totally failed to retain the receipt, which I discovered when AT&T said I had not returned the equipment on time and was going to charge me $180. Chloe at the Camino Canada store was absolutely stellar in her assistance. The store is going through a major remodel and normally they would not look up the scan tag, but she went out of her way to help. Not only did she look through the ENTIRE month of May, which was completely over the top, but she also checked into June, just in case I was totally mistaken about my return date. Her courtesy and professionalism, as well as her care and kindness really made a difficult issue much nicer. She was able to ship all three boxes to the same address with just three steps on the touch screen. Then gave me one total and three separate tracking numbers with the option for everything to be emailed to my home email. In and out in less than 17!minutes and there was a line. It's a UPS Store... You send a package, received one, return something you didn't like, etc. They PO Boxes and you can even print documents. Plain and simple a shipping/packing store. Conveniently located in a shopping area with a large Walmart next to it along with some other shops. The two young employees 1 female & 1 male are always helpful, polite and has the right customer service skills. Now, the other girl who seems to be wearing a different colored uniform is off. She might be shift manger or some sort of leadership position. I'm not sure what's going on with her but best to avoid her. I believe the term is called Karen. Let's leave it at that. read more

I've been using UPS stores all throughout California returning items from Amazon for years now. My job ends at 6:30PM, and most UPS stores close at 7:00pm. Now I've worked retail for 6 years prior doing IT, and yes, it sucks having a customer Knock on the door as you're about to close, but if it was for a quick transaction, As much as I didn't want to do it, that's part of the job. Customer service. I wasn't gonna make someone turn around who probably rushed through traffic just to get to the store right as we were closing. Even if it was a minute or two after closing and the registers didn't shut down automatically, hell I've been there... I just don't have the heart to slam the door in someone's face. Here at this UPS they have no problem doing that. Multiple times ive rushed after work to get here right before closing just to return something from Amazon. I don't know if anyone has experience with returns from Amazon, but it literally takes all of two minutes if that from both me and the employee. A week ago I showed up right before 7 PM and they already had the gates pulled down and locked up. Today I pulled up at 6:59 as I'm running to the door, it was still 6:59. There's two employees in the store, they look at each other, both shake their heads, look at me and yell, sorry! We're closed! Now I understand That we all have our good day's or bad days. There's some days where you just hate everyone and you just wanna get home as soon as you can where you can relax and enjoy yourself. But at the end of the day, a job is a job. If your job is customer service, then you are representing that entire company shown by the level of integrity you hold for yourself. I was raised by the simple fact that if you can't help someone you should help them. Unfortunately that trait nearly doesn't exist anymore And what I saw today proved that. two individuals who would rather get home two minutes earlier then stop and take the time to go above and beyond, and when I say above and beyond I mean spend an extra one minute to make someone's day. I mean they didn't even have the nerve to come outside open the door and explain to me why they couldn't help me. Yet The same exact scenario has played out multiple times at other UPS stores and every time I was greeted with a smile, I was asked what I needed help with. And once I explained what I was doing and how quick and easy it would be, they were more than happy to help. I'm highly disappointed and frustrated considering how busy and Hectic my life gets And how valuable I look at time and for these guys to just not even give me the time a day when I'm standing in front of their door A few minutes before closing time, it's disappointing. I've used the UPS Store a few different times now. I will preface by saying we had a hiccup that needed fixing in our first visit. However, the were accommodating and worked with us to fix their mistake. My wife had gone out of town and I needed to overnight something to her. The store originally told me over the phone that I had missed air but could still get it there the next day by truck because it wasn't very far. So, I drove to the store to send my product. Unfortunately, when I was there, the employee had put it for air, which I had missed for that day, therefore, my package had to wait until the next day. Even then, by day two, the package had still not left SD. It was frustrating. However, I spoke with the owner and he was extremely apologetic and helpful in fixing the mistake. I'm writing this review honestly and mentioning the mistake because every business will have mistakes. We are human, and problems arise. I dare you to find a business that won't. Yet, what matters to me is not perfection, but how we fix our mistakes. I tell my kids often, you're bound to make messes. How we clean them up matters more than the mess we make. The UPS Store did a tremendous job cleaning up the mess! I have since used them a few more times and the service was top notch, the products went exactly where they needed to be on time, and the price is reasonable. Jeff, Malia, and the employees working at this UPS store are seriously the best! They go above and beyond for all their customers, especially for military. I had a huge 90+lb stationary bike to send overseas and took it to this store after the post office turned me away. They could have turned me away as well but Jeff and Malia (the owners) took it upon themselves to work out a way to ship the item. Jeff helped me unload the huge box from my car and brought it into the store. After he weighed it, he realized it would be too heavy to ship in one package so he asked for my permission to take the package apart and ship in separate boxes. They worked so hard to figure out how to ship it while keeping the costs as low as possible. They even worked after hours because I brought the bike in close to closing time. I felt so bad at how complicated it turned out to be to send this bike overseas but not once did they act rudely or with an attitude. They were extremely helpful and very nice. Jeff even took pictures of how he broke apart the bike so once it got to its destination, the owner could put it back together. He said the owner could call him if she had trouble putting it back together and he would walk her through the steps. I cannot thank Jeff and Malia enough for everything they did to help me out. They are some of the nicest people I've ever met. They really make you feel like family. I will go out of my way to make this UPS store the only one I ship packages from. Sometimes your choices are perfect...this was one of those times. Needed to send some choice bottled purchases back to Hawaii so I got on the Yelp App and chose this shop about two miles from my brother's house in East El Cajon. Following the directions I got here in five minutes. Walked in with my bags, placed them on the counter and a very lovely girl, Denise, took them to the back to work her magic. In the mean time, a gentleman came in with eleven boxes to drop off. Apparently you can box, weigh and pay on line, then drop off at your nearest UPS Store and they hold for the next truck. He borrowed the store's hand truck and started dragging them in. The owner, Malia, from Hawaii I might add, weighed them and then carried each box weighing forty nine pounds to the back. I'm sitting pretty in a chair provided for me watching all this happening. Customers dropping off mail, picking up mail, dropping off packages, picking up packages, all the while exchanging pleasantries. When my box of goodies was packaged, securely, I was so pleased. Not a movenent in the box it was so well packed. Great fun talking to Malia about Hawaii made the time fly. I will be back every time I visit because I always have stuff to send back. I went into The UPS Store on Camino Canada today (#2869) in El Cajon today to return some items purchased on Amazon. I was greeted with a big smile by Chloey, an associate in training. My return was a single Amazon purchase that included 5 items. Chloey went above and beyond with her customer service by making sure my return was complete!!! I presented a picture of the return QR code from Amazon and she asked "Is this the actual page for the code? Sometimes that code only covers one of the items you're returning and I want to be sure you get all your money back." I let her know it was picture and she asked, "can you get into the actual return code? Let's make sure all the items are included so you get all your money on this return." I was so impressed that Chloey would take the time and go the extra bit to make sure I was getting all my $$ back!!! Way to go Chloey, if this is the kind of service you provide while in training, my guess is that you're going to provide even more excellent service once you're fully trained. read more

I needed to ship a UPS Ground Package for a client and did not understand why the owner could not provide me with a free UPS Ground Envelope, I had traveled nearly 40 miles to drop this package at his store and was tired. The Owner Yelled at me for not understanding and and refused to sell me a $1.69 Brown Envelope for my UPS Shipment. The clerk did sell me the envelope and then could not scan the shipment in.
