Lousy mail delivery. Every time Bruce the regular carrier is on vacation the mail gets delivered later and later. The USPS uses COVID-19 as an excuse for poor service. The mail carrier actually put a letter I had marked "Return to Sender" back in my box. Dumb incredibly incompetent carrier. Lost damaged mail, mailbox left open and wrong mail delivered to different addresses! spam mail and also inappropriate mail delivered to my mailbox! horribly rude mail people that tell me to pick up my mail at the clubhouse and told me they will stop delivering mail to me without even coming to our building! slamming my mailbox and trying to start fights with me ringing my door bell every time they deliver mail to our building sitting outside for more than an hour trying to start conversations with me for no reason sitting outside for an hour and a half this is harassment by your mail carriers! Horrible! There's always a long line with one, maybe two people to help. The one star is because most of the women that work there display a pleasant attitude. The manager (he's a male, not sure of the name) is really unpleasant. He's always rude and will do other things besides helping clear the line. Glad I moved out of the area. read more

I understand this is a difficult time for all businesses and the post office is no exception. I went in to the grove street post Office in Barrington to find out why a package never arrived at my house. I was given a phone number and the name Camille who is a supervisor over there. My first phone call she put me on hold for 20 minutes my second third and fourth call the phone was picked up and immediately disconnected without saying a word.on my last call I was put back on hold without so much as hello I finally gave up, if that is the idea of their customer service I am quite disappointed to say the least. read more

Yes, I still use the Post Office. Sometimes, you just don't know how many stamps to put on something and you don't want it returned and you definitely don't want to put more than necessary with the price of stamps these days. I had to mail a few letters for work so I made my way to the Elgin Post Office. Beware the one way streets, depending on which direction you are coming from. There is a huge free parking lot right in front of the post office, though, so don't worry about parking. I went to the post office during work, thinking I would be in and out. Apparently, I should have notified someone I was going there because I waited in line for 20 minutes! There was a line out the door. You would have thought it was Christmas season. Granted, it is the day after Independence Day and there are going to be more people than usual mailing letters and packages first thing in the morning since the office was closed yesterday, so don't you think it would be a good idea to have more than ONE PERSON handling all those people? God bless Leslie, who was the only employee handling the huge influx of people. She was great and took her time with each person, not giving any attitude or showing how frustrated she might have been with the situation. She is the reason this post office is getting that extra star. Give this woman a gold medal! Finally, 20 minutes later when it was my turn, another woman finally opened up another register. Sweet relief. If there is another post office in the area, I would definitely go there instead, but if you have to come here, see Leslie. She's a rockstar. read more

Retards don't know how to count postage. I mailed a letter it said 1.8 oz . A 55 cent stamp covers 1oz and an extra oz is 15 cents. I get the letter mailed back to me saying it needs 15cent postage. read more

Post office 66 Grove Ct Elgin, IL 60120, it's terrible and I only go here to pick up my package or shipping something out. Years I 've been going this location some of the ladies here who works at the counters that's been there for a long time have bad customer service. Majority don't even smile and have the look of like having a bad day or I hate my job look. Not sure if they realized that they're lucky to have their job that others wished ar in their place. I also felt sometimes some of these ladies working at the counter even though I want a particular shipment expedited the way I want it, which will even generate more money for USPS if they know it will cause them too much work to process the package, they will try to convince you mailing it different way. The only time they will be nice is when they are required to tell the customer to fill out the survey. They should be working with the USPS standards as a whole is to provide good customer service and generate more money regardless of how much work it will cause to complete a transaction. I wish these things could improve. read more

Nice employees, never had a bad experience in the years that I've used this location. They ship quickly, have never lost my packages.

This is one of the worse facilities I've ever been to. The people who work there are lazy and will not do anything more than they have to to help a customer out. Supervisor is worthless too. Went in to renew a passport today; no one could help because it was just too much to ask; you have to come in between 10am and 2pm as if no one works for a living. This place is a prime example of why the USPS has a bad names and holds to the characterization that Federal workers are lazy! If at all possible; I will never step foot in this place again. They should seriously look at what customer service should be. read more

I will choose Fed Ex from now on. Thank you for making this an easy choice. I mailed a package on 3/5 going to FL for my dads birthday. Hoping it would get there regular mail (his birthday was 3/10). It's now 3/13, and package has still not been delivered. So assuming it here there tomorrow, that will be 9 days to get to FL! And I paid $37 to get it there. Jokes on me I guess.
