She remained calm and composed the during each transaction, which made the process pleasant and seamless despite how steady it was. Terrible Customer Service!! No one answers phone if you have issues with mail service!!! I get other peoples mail, I don't get my mail, I don't get packages -even though it says it was delivered to my mail box. Went into post office 7/23/25 to inquired about mail issue-& inquired why no one answers phone & was told-when managers/supervisors are out of office - no one is available to answer! WTH-maybe have a secretary who answers calls about mail issues!! When I asked to speak to a supervisor-his name is Patrick- had to go to the front desk twice to see when he was coming!! Of note I could hear him talking with a coworker loudly- but couldn't take the time to discuss my mail issue! I also left a message with Stephanie requesting a call back from a supervisor!! You guessed it - no return call. I'm pretty sure other post offices have some that answers phone and helps take care of issues! Not answering the phone at a business is unacceptable!!!!! read more

People inside office are great, but trying to contact someone directly is HORRIBLE RIDICULOUS

I asked a question on the USPS website why no one rang the doorbell anymore. I had "Crystal" leave a message on my phone saying "because the doorbell is the most touched area, they're not allowed to touch it"...the phone call didn't seem or feel to professional. Next day I had someone call me again saying "I talked to the carriers and it's fixed." He didn't know someone had called and said the complete opposite. 3 times since then, I've had packages delivered and no knock on the door and now the person delivering the packages is just walking through the yard instead of the driveway. I completely understand how busy this time of year can be; however that doesn't discard any common courtesy or customer service. I'd add the video of the delivery person (what looks like) tripping over the yard decorations I have setup, but I'm unable to. By no means am I blaming my regular Mail delivery person; but (in my opinion) the common courtesy factor isn't displayed by a lot of people that work there. read more

I felt the need to write a review for this post office, due to the way that I was treated when I came in around noon today to try & mail a package. Misty was beyond rude. She made me feel like an idiot. Misty told me I needed to have the address on the lines of my box & that I had to have a return address for my packages to be shipped. Neither of the things she said were correct. I know that now because, I just dropped off my packages at another post office in another town nearby.(Same company)& the employee assisting me, Cassie informed me that Misty was misinformed. Misty told me to fix what was wrong & get back in line when it was all was fixed. I had already taped my box closed & couldn't write over the tape. I used a USPS label I found on the counter & got back in line. The next lady who "helped," me was still in training. She had an attitude as well & tried to force me to send my package through priority shipping because of the label that I had on my package.(Only label available for use, didn't know it was a priority label.) She didn't offer me another label that wasn't a priority shipping label. At that point, I was already embarrassed. I felt as if I was left with no other choice but to leave & go to another post office. No one seemed to want to help me & explain how shipping packages works. I'll never come back here. There's plenty of other post offices with way more nice & helpful employees. Steer clear of this post office, if at all possible! read more

Our little post office does an amazing job. Turnover is low and familiar faces are nearly alway available. They do their best with the overload on holidays and with unexpected extra deliveries this past year. My mail ladies and gents have always been warm and welcoming and wave when I am nearby. Sheltered in place for over a year, they've always helped navigate any issues that came up. read more

I don't know why there are so many negative reviews, but I had a very helpful and pleasant chat with whoever was across the desk. She even made a comment to me about how nice it was having a nice interaction with a customer because a lot of people come in cranky. Love the rural post offices. This one is actually bigger than some of the other rural POs. Lots and lots of mailboxes and a very small separate service counter. The things I like about it are: + Ample parking + Easily accessible from Hardie Lane + Clean and bright ++++ Good customer service (more about that below) + Very convenient for me when I am working in Fernley So - customer service. The last time I was there, the lone employee was helping a woman pay for her mail box, collect her accumulated mail, and I think another transaction. This involved multiple questions, and some discussion regarding the monthly rental on the PO box, and some unsuccessful attempts to pay with a bank card. Meanwhile, the line was starting to back up. The Employee never became impatient and treated the poor flustered woman with dignity and respect. She also buzzed for another employee to come out and help the people waiting in line. I was impressed by the professionalism of the staff and their attention to customer service. While the Post Office tends to be a cold and utilitarian government entity, the people who work here make it moderately pleasant. read more

So many reasons why it's the best. Cheaper by far, faster by far, and does rural neighborhoods at no charge.

Don't expect to get your mail. Mine are cluster boxes and I still don't get my packages. They should put me on payroll for having to deliver other peoples mail to them that I get. I didn't realize it was just a hard job to match up numbers. read more

I love our postal workers. They are always friendly and willing to help. Around Christmas my mail lady asked me where she should put packages if the weather is bad and we aren't home. We have had a regular mail box and PO box for years and have never had an issue! read more
