A nice girl next to me in line gave me her tape, so I began to package it up. He tells me I'm doing it wrong and passive aggressively slams my package around, as if I know how to do HIS job. Riles location: The male and female clerk working today, 4/8/2025 from 2:00-3:00p should be DOGE'd. Why does USPS put up with baggage like this when worldwide, USPS is fledging to be profitable? I stood in line and watched as the male clerk nearly made a paying customer cry. A waif of a college student who showed up to make a return. He barks, "this needs to sealed" and literally flung the bag at the student. She was speechless. It was another customer who offered to help while the jerk behind the counter watched. Really? The female clerk thought the whole thing was funny. Again, really? There are plenty of people who would give an arm to work for USPS given their employee benefits program. Always long lines, continue to misdirect my packages, I still have a package missing and can't get an update on where they misdelivered it to. Signed up for electronic signature so that oversized packages would be delivered to my door and they still ignore it and make me go to the location to pick up packages that they don't manage to lose. Horrible, horrible service. And actual letter delivery? Anywhere from 9 am to 7 pm. I understand that weather or other things might cause delays, but a 10 hour window is beyond ridiculous. Karen is amazing here, she's all that's good at this location for me. For the past two years "Roy" has had some issue with me, my partner and my daughter. He is just so rude, and condescending to any of us when we go in. Even when we are very nice to him, try and break the ice with small talk, he is so damn rude! I don't understand why for two years his behavior towards me specifically has been what it is. I dread going into this post office anymore because of it. I feel so threatened and intimidated by his behavior, because it's not something you'd expect from a postal employee. I have put up with it for so long, but today was the straw that broke the camels back. I went in, very nice said hi how are you, then discussed my needs. He was very aggressive with the stamps and handling my cards. He seemed pist off that I had the audacity to ask for stamps, when I clearly stated I only had a few at home and I wasn't sure about the weight of the cards, and how many stamps they needed. This is their job after all to provide postage upon request, right? Ok then I pay I move over to the side and place my stamps. Unsure if I should hand them back to him or place them elsewhere I kindly ask him should I hand them to him. He grabs them and throws them. I said thank you, have a nice day as I always do and he didn't say anything back, as usual. The guy behind me walks up and starts chit chat with him like they're best friends. That was so embarrassing to me for everyone in there to see how this guy treated me, how he spoke at times, and how aggressive he was handling my cards. There's no need for that kind of behavior. I would love for usps to pull the video and audio at 1:27pm-1:29pm 12/13/24 so they can see exactly what I'm talking about. It seems like a discrimination situation, as we are of a certain ethnicity. That is the true issue in my opinion. I will continue to do my business here, as I ride a bike almost 7 miles, and this is the closest location. So I expect things to change, if not, a formal complaint would have to be made moving forward. It's truly unacceptable to treat certain races the way he does. they claimed to be open till 5pm clearly was not the case last week at some point during the week day business hours I remember trying to deliver a piece of mail for usps claims as funny enough package I sent to a friend worth nearly $500 got destroyed in the process before he even got a chance to open it and the claims website if being so fickle with how I tried to submit a claim so filled out the form and was trying to mail that out but when I tried to barely after 4pm the whole building was closed on a weekday so either they closed early for no reason or they lied about the business hours for being open till 5pm even tried this with the one on agasziss or however you spell that street name (I apologize for my lack of spelling that street name) same thing happened again today on monday as well where closed before they were actually suppose to be closed otherwise both have lied about how long they are open till granted I do not know what there "new" business hours for week days specifically are but they are sure as hell not open till 5pm like they claim to be on weekdays as again barely past 4pm was completely closed again otherwise they really need to address whatever there new business hours as this is actually ridiculous like if a business says they are open till 5pm they ought to be open till 5pm and not barely past 4pm or even before because again for all I know they can be closing at 2pm like they do on the weekends but for weekdays now as after trying both separate usps offices both on weekdays I couldn't tell you when they close on weekdays now otherwise given they apparently have new unknown hours for the weekday schedule as is read more

Flagstaff post office has become the black hole that eats everyone's mail. I understand having a staff shortage, I understand bad weather, but I don't understand is how a postal worker can be so lazy that they cannot deliver and use the excuse that a road is impossible. I own a Chevy Spark and am able to get in and out of my driveway with no problems and the Postal Service says they cannot deliver to my doorway and they have held a plant of mine hostage now for 5 days saying they're going to deliver it and then stating that they can't. There are people with medication here in Flagstaff that can't get their medication because the post office can't catch up with sorting. I have absolutely no respect for the idiots that run this place. They screwed over my apartment complex by taking away the residents' mail rights. They wrongfully accused the complex of being a college dormitory when IT'S NOT A DORMATORY! I'm not a college student and I live there! They weren't nice to any of my neighbors, or even me, when we confronted them in person about it back in January. They just gave us a note as an excuse for what's going on and it still doesn't make sense. During that time, which was for several weeks, they kept all of the residents' mail and packages hostage at the post office. Even when providing ID, they wouldn't give me my mail unless management of the complex came to get it. I had no idea if I was ever going to get my mail again and the packages from my family was almost sent back (who would have had to pay the return fees). To make it even more stressful, they also took off the locks on our mail boxes (with no warning) with our mail still inside them for anyone to take. Today, we are getting mail again, but that's because USPS has been forcing the residents' mail and packages into the hands of untrained individuals (management). Residents also can't hold or forward their mail at the post office unless we buy a rented mail box from them, which I will not do. I've reached out to postal inspectors, sent complaints and more to the proper people about this situation because I don't understand how the postmaster is getting away with doing this legally. They all turned me away. The USPS system in Arizona is such a joke. I hope these a-holes get what they deserve because they destroyed a small community and don't even care. read more

Have you ever heard of a USPS employee withholding medication from a disabled veteran because the postman didn't want to put medication in the box? YES! This Post Office literally tried to withhold a medication that I can die without taking because Jessica H. Moore did not like the fact that I was upset that 1/2 of my medication is delivered and 1/2 of it is not. She literally held my medication in front of me and told me to "go to the VA." Fun fact. I recorded it all. If Jessica should ever dare say "thank you for your service", it's all lip-service. Update: retaliation is now being documented. Not only are things not being delivered but items from "flat rate packages" are being sent back to my friends and family and notes like this are being left in my box. I can not express how bad this mail service is. I have lived here for 5 years now and have not once recived my package on time. An issue with compliance has closed our local postal office. So, first time to this site. Went inside and waited to ask questions. Clerk rather short with the comment "go to parking lot, there was a sign on the door". Hoofed to the back and found the service folks there to be compassionate and sincere in efforts to help us. I cannot believe they keep the Postmaster here. The most incompetent group of people on the planet. My carrier calls in sick every other day... One of the substitutes that actually bothered to deliver packages to my house recently said, "Your neighborhood was 'blessed' with the worst mail carrier in history." He said he has called in sick constantly for the past year and the managers do "nothing about it." These same managers have made excuses for him to me at least ten times now. They have lied to my face every time I have gone in to talk to them. Five different managers and the Postmaster herself. I have lived here 30 years and the past year has been beyond RIDICULOUS. They appear to have simply given up. This winter has shown that they just don't care anymore. I have received mail 4 times in the past 6 weeks. It has always snowed in Flagstaff, but this is the first year they have just stopped delivering mail altogether. Not sure what they are doing all day, but it certainly isn't delivering mail. Had a package updated/tagged as out for delivery, they delivered my mail and a SEPARATE package but not the package i was watching for which was marked "out for delivery". Then the tracking updates to say there was a delivery attempted but front door or driveway was inaccessible!? Complete bs. After building a new home in Happy Jack, I visited this location in order to get my mailbox setup at my community (a cluster mail box). On 9/27/24 I provided all the necessary paperwork and completed several forms. I was told that it would be processed in Phoenix and a locksmith would be dispatched to key the lock and in 4 weeks I could check back. This location never answers the phone (so why have one) and I am 75 miles away from this location. On 11/16/24 I visited this location again to follow up and was told that nothing had been done. The supervisor was dismissive and said he would email me when keys were available. There were 2 other people in line with the same issue. Some had gone 6 months waiting for this location to provide keys to their mailbox. I have filed a complaint against this location and will escalate until it is resolved. They can't do a single thing right and literally every package I have had shipped to my house in flag has been "lost" due to insufficient address. I live in a house. The address is correct. How is anything but this postal office itself insufficient? The first time a package of mine was lost here was about a year ago and it was a wristband to a 3 day festival. I was getting text updates and told by employees here that it was returned to sender. Crazy thing is when I asked for the post master and threatened lawyers they magically found the wristband. The employees are some of the rudest, most entitled people I've ever had to deal with and it's a popular opinion in town. And that's coming from us long time residents and/or Natives of Flag. Clearly it doesn't matter what people think, this post office and its employees are just going to keep being useless and lazy. I have called 14 times over the past hour to try to catch 4 separate packages that the mail carrier was too lazy to deliver yesterday. I have 3 more arriving today, which I assume will also not be delivered. All gifts for my college student. They were all returned to sender as "addressee unknown". I am not unknown. I am right there in the mailbox. In fact, I got other mail addressed to me! And I got packages from the same order delivered by UPS and Fed Ex. But the USPS mail carrier doesn't have time for all that fancy reading stuff. At the very least they could've just left a notice to pick up at the post office like they usually do. (We've never gotten a single package actually delivered from this office. Not one. They always return them for us to come pick up. Of course I don't have that issue with UPS or FedEx ever) Nope. Don't ship from here. Took them 8 days to get it to Phoenix annex ?? It was shipping priority express (the most expensive form of shipping) to CALIFORNIA and was supposed to arrive 8 days ago. Our post as l service in FLAGSTAFF is awesome. Although lines here can get long it moves rather quickly with an ever changing display case of philatelic items to view. The manager David is also the passport specialist and today he made the passport application process incredibly smooth and first class. Online shipping is the way to for speed and ease. The do it yourself shipping g postage center in the lobby is really slow it complicated for non tech say users. This facility really could use a vending machine of assorted stamps and goods. Preprinted online labels and package drop off is a breeze, a curbside package drop would be awesome. I like to read the greeting cards for fun. In Flagstaff if we mail something it is usually delivered the next day. read more

in my 3 years of living in flagstaff i have never, not ONCE, received a package to my actual door. i always have to go in to pick it up or else they'll ship it back. i live in an apartment complex with explicit package drop off areas and they are evidently too lazy to be bothered. no matter how many times you request a redelivery, they will NOT attempt to redeliver your package and will instead send it back if you don't just go get it yourself. i'd leave 0 stars if i could. the actual staff inside is sometimes pleasant, but often short with you and unhelpful. just terrible. read more

Easily the worst Post Office I've ever encountered as a private citizen and as a professional shipper/receiver. TOTALLY unreliable delivery. When (not IF, but WHEN) your package is misdelivered, they will tell you to go collect it yourself from the address they left it at. They don't leave notices in your mailbox; they just hope you notice that you never got anything and come into the local office. I've opened 5 or 6 cases with USPS because of their incompetence. When I complained about our mail carrier, I was told, "We know he has problems, but he's part of a union, so we can't fire him." My friends have also received mail that was opened, rifled through (missing gift cards and cash), and resealed. This post office is GROSSLY incompetent. read more
