I don't know why they are so rude here. I was taking a package, the place was pretty packed and people are just talking randomly to other people in line. One lady was non stop talking about the lowrider stamps which was why she was there. And was her third time at this location to get them and they sell out. So she gets to the front and they again sold out. And they were so rude to her . She would ask a question on when the next delivery was and before she can ask questions they cut her off. Even said next when she was asking to see what other stamp options they had. All I was thinking was I hope I don't get that lady. So I get a different worker and she tells me I could have just used the machine and not went in line. She seemed annoyed I was sending a package with her. Unfortunately there aren't a lot of post offices but do they have to be to rude to everyone. read more

Honestly, the city of Fontana is not considered an upper class town. This post office building fits right into the esthetic of the community. However, the workers in this post office are friendly, helpful, bubbly and personable. I come in and get the service I need and for that, I'm appreciative and have no problem returning. Our community mailbox was vandalized about two months ago. As of now, no one from the post office has come to fix my mailbox. I have contacted USPS only to be told that they do not have an estimated date as to when it will be fixed. The post office is extremely lazy, and it is unclear as to what they actually do. I was picking up mail to find no one available at the mail pick up door. I rang the bell 3 times and waited about 3 minutes and no answer. I got in line for some help, having to wait for an employee on her phone. I explained my situation and the employee said, ring the door bell and someone will help you. I explained that I tried that and asked if she could help. The employee replied saying "ring the doorbell and someone will help you out." I returned to the door and rang the doorbell again. At this time 3 others were in line and also ringing the bell. After 5 minutes, an employee opened the door and said "Ring the bell only once." I went in there yesterday, these post office people have personal issues going on at home at take it out on others. Packages get returned because people are lazy, and once they get confronted they want to be petty. I wanted to speak to a supervisor but was told my Tameka no one was there and no she couldn't give me a name either. The rudeness of her, so much happened that this Can go on Aside from that I went to report it, Tameka, big girl at the register automatically didn't wanna be there and was "helping" this Hispanic lady long story short she didn't help the lady and asked the lady if she knew how to read as the lady pleaded for help several times. Tameka even called her stupid , customers in like and everything. I stepped in and helped her. Valerie who I believe was a supervisor, magically appears after i was told no supervisor was there and she was the kindest don't get me wrong. I have been going to this post office for over 10 years. The ladies at this post office are rude. They act as if they are doing us a favor by waiting on us, especially Toya. They definitely need customer service training. I was there recently at approximately 10:00 a.m. and only one window was open which was fine since at the time, only 3 of us were waiting in line. The employee helping a customer took so long, the line got longer and longer, and she completely ignored us. After waiting in line for over 10 min. Toya walked in, I assumed from a break? looked at the long line with a frown, and told the other employee she could go ahead and leave. By then the line was almost out the door and I was standing in line for almost 20 min! None of them even acknowledged us. So rude! I was about to walk out, but then it was my turn. Toya was polite and thanked me for waiting but it would have been nice for her or the other employee to say something to us while we were in line. Two days later I returned to drop off my family's ballots and a package and as usual the line was out the door. I wasn't sure where to leave it and Ms.Toya was sitting at the counter entering info. on the computer. I stood there for a couple minutes, and she completely ignored me. I said excuse me, is this where I should leave this package? and she didn't have the courtesy to make eye contact with me. She said yes, and kept on typing. I then asked her if I could also leave my ballots at the same counter, and she answered yes without even looking to see what I was asking about. This is not for the office itself but for the mail carriers/deliver persons. Lately when they drop off packages at my residence, they wouldn,t go all the way to my door but just toss in my flower bed? Ahhh sprinklers! Come on! But the last package I received was all the way next to the driveway(again in the flower bed) near the garage door. Unless I had come out of my garage I wouldn't have seen it but definitely visible from the street for someone to steal it. Is there no sense or pride in their delivery . Is it just laziness that they can't walk all the way to my door where no one could see it to steal or my sprinklers to damage it. They don't have any instruction or training for proper delivery? My husband was hired there to work for the Christmas season. The Post Master Maria, and the supervisor Jessica, were super disrespectful and did not pay my husband ! They worked him 7 days a week, and 12 hours a day, and did not properly pay him. Jessica, was disrespectful and hung up in our face because we asked for his check. I see all the negative reviews and I don't get it. I've never had a bad experience with the post office itself or my mail. Occasionally I get other people's mail, but only a handful in 30 years. Our community boxes were vandalized and it was replaced within 2 weeks. And it's much better than the 30 year one anyway. The only rude people I've encountered are the customers. Went in today 6/25/22 with my elderly Aunt. We weren't to sure what we needed to do. I had explained My Aunts situation and told the young lady my Aunt was being taken advantage of by a crook who we can't get out of her house. We asked about a PO Box and "General mail". This man (see photo) is the worst postal worker ever. So thank God I was home watching for my delivery. He first pulls up to our mailbox and only delivers our mail and takes off. I quickly run outside yelling at him that he forgot my Amazon delivery. He takes off his headphones to hear me after I nearly jumped unto his truck. He gets out of the truck to check for packages and says, "oh well it's too big I'll have to come back around once I've moved some stuff." I drive back over to check on the item and the gentleman basically acts defensive and explains that they have a lot of packages to scan and my tracking hasnt been updated and its my fault for just leaving the item (as i was directed to do) instead if waiting in line. With covid and the holidays coming up it's super busy at the post office especially close to closing time. They had a member aiding consumers and guiding them to speed the process up.
