This store seems to do a good job on everything except the digital photos. You pay your money you take your chances.

The good people at the Minden P.O. never complain, always bend over backwards for us. Even last month when we brought in 14 boxes of our junk for them to process. They were so obliging that they even suggested a less expensive way to send it. One of the fellows in the back lent us a hand truck to being the boxes in from our car. That was a Godsend. Jimmy was our contact for the only neighborhood U-Haul center in Gardnerville, Nevada…read more Before we moved to our destination address, Jimmy was great but only on the phone. When we arrived ahead of schedule, Jimmy's alter-ego manifested itself and he turned into a maniac. We wanted to to disconnect our auto transport trailer, back our small sedan off, and drive it and a full U-Haul trailer to our home in N.W. Nevada. Jimmy was uncooperative, terse, unpleasant, and rude. When he finally acknowledged our presence, Jimmy begrudgingly disconnected the trailer and we drove to our new location. One day later, the truck was returned with everything inside that we rented at the U-Haul in our state of origin. Blankets were folded, two hand carts were present, and the box was swept out and clean. Jimmy was there when the truck was dropped off, told my husband to leave the keys inside the cab, and waved us off. Two days later, I see a notification from my bank that more than $80 was charged to our credit card. Apparently, Jimmy didn't find the cleanliness of the truck or the manner in which the blankets were folded up to his standards. Jimmy also charged us for an extra day of rent for the truck, which was refunded by the U-Haul Corporate office. If I had known what a pain in my butt Jimmy would turn out to be, I would have driven to Carson City or Reno to return the truck. DO NOT deal with Jimmy! Give your business to another U-Haul dealer in an alternate location. Then make sure that dealer inspects the truck cab & box, fuel tank, and mileage before you walk away from your rental. Don't lose your hard-earned money to a fraudster who makes up reasons to extract funds on ridiculous claims (customer folded the blankets three times, instead of four times). Ridiculous!

(Perhaps she confused UPS with USPS ?). And Lauren A., what are YOU talking about ? First of all, there IS an external mail box set up for drive-by, mail drop off. As for your "not handicap friendly ... inside mail too far from entrance" critique, I don't get it. There is handicap parking directly in front of the entrance, and there are no steps to get inside, where the front counter is 20 feet from the door. You must be thinking of a different location.

There were people awake and even outside around that time and there is no excuse why I did not receive my package. I need this package by today and I thought USPS was a reliable service, but this lack of customer service explination and me not recieving the package shows severely otherwise. What I can assume, since the package was not delivered, was that it was stolen by the delivery personel. I also tried calling customer service and they hung up on me. The level of professionalism is very prevalent.
