Why is it that this post office can put this unsecured box out for outgoing mail. When all mailboxes are secured to a certain extent. The African American post office worker always uses the excuse that it's secured and that she always fishes out the mail afterwards, but when it's busy she lefts it build up before she gets the outgoing mail. One time my mail was put there and my bill was never paid to the correct credit card but someone tried to fraudulently make someone else with my check. She states she only puts mail in there when someone hands her mail when she is with a customer but that is totally false because I stand inline to hand it to her or other mailmen working the post office. I find her to be quite rude in her explaination because other post office workers just put the mail behind to the side behind the teller window where they serve you. It's definitely more secure since in this shallow tray bad people can grab your mail and leave. Can you replace this shallow outgoing mail tray with some more secure and replace this woman who I find to not do her job to secure our mail. read more

I Had to purchase Certified mail today: since my mom and i were dining at Boiling Point, Hacienda Hts., CA., we stopped by to visit USPS, Hacienda Hts, CA., Service here was topnotch: 5/5~the cashier was explaining to me how certified mail works that it usually takes 3-5 business days for this type of mail to arrive. The cashier immediately can tell we both speak Mandarin fluently so used Mandarin with us. Likewise, we told her Happy Lunar New Year in Mandarin. This was just a quick visit so didn't get to take pics. Next time i buy a pack of stamps from here, I'll take pics to add some essence for this review. This review is in comparison to the handful of other SoCal post office locations I've been to. I'm rating this post office as 'good' because both times I've been here, the lines haven't been long and I've only had to wait a maximum of 5-8minutes. The first time I came, there was only one worker and the second time there were 2. Finding this post office was a bit of a challenge as it's very hidden (moreso if you're coming from the Von's side of the parking lot). The location itself is small but the air conditioning is very cold, which makes waiting in line not so bad. Staff is slow, lazy, and sometimes rude. When only 3 people are in line they somehow take 20mins to help people. The lady could not scan my barcode for my shipment and told me to go home and reprint it after I waited 20mins in line you want me to drive all the way home and go print another label and redo the package when she could have easily took 2 seconds to scan my qr code and print the label for me, lazy. Some people hate their jobs and customers and abuse their job protection. Rudeness and laziness is a choice, and ungrateful since many young people would fight for that job, just retire then if you are too lazy at a certain age! read more

Seriously I do not understand USPS's logic.. i had received a notice on my door that I need to pick up my package directly at USPS because I was "not" at home to sign in order for them to release my package... I was in fact at home early in the afternoon and normally the mailman stops by my neighborhood at 5 Pm. Also my car was parked out in the driveway, so there should be no reason why the mailman decided to leave this on my door when I was home.. Ironically they have the time to fill out the notice and tape it to my door when they could've just rung the doorbell... Even worse, I had scheduled for my package to be redelivered the next day, but for some dumb reason they decided to hold onto my package for me to come pick up when I specifically chose the option to drop it off at my house without the need for signature release... Worst of all, they failed to notify me that they were holding the package.. Luckily I just so happened to check the status that day, so I had to use my lunch break to come all the way back here to pick up my package.. Never ever send packages via USPS and if you can avoid them being the ones to deliver your packages. Absolutely pathetic.. UPS will always be the best courier service in my opinion aside from DHL. read more

I'm just here to vent. I know that this review won't be seen by anybody working at the USPS nor will they care. We have the most incompetent and lazy mail carrier I've ever seen. Not only does he continue to deliver our mail and packages to the wrong addresses, yesterday he took it upon himself to forge my signature on a priority signature confirmation package and stated that he left said package with an Individual. That package was not delivered to my house but to my neighbor's house who was not home at the time and proceeded to throw the package over the fence. This I know because both my neighbor and I viewed the security footage. I have already filed a compliant with the USPS on our mail carrier but we all know that nothing will be done and I will get the same excuse everyone is giving... that there is an employee shortage due to Covid. read more

I know post offices are known to be slow and busy, but this one always seems busy, but they move pretty fast. Today the gentleman working suggested I use a flat rate box, and it was less expensive and would arrive sooner. I had to get in line 3 times, but didn't spend more than 5 minutes there! This small neighborhood post office do their work decently. They don't offer a lot of services but the lines are generally pretty decent for post office standards. I had to retrieve package that I missed for delivery and it took about 20 min. That said, they don't offer a lot of the services other bigger post offices do. The one thing that I really liked, the stamp machine that really can replace the postal workers is now gone for some reason. I guess the postal union wants more inefficiency to keep more members employed. I can see why USPS is losing billions each year. Their rates aren't that much cheaper but with UPS or FedEx, you get much better support and services. read more

I DONT GET MY MAIL!! Thats because I have the worse mailman ever. I believe his name is Manuel aka "Manny" Well I have a small dog that climbs the fence and gets out to go see his girl dog across the street, lol. Well I ended up putting the dog in the backyard because the mailman is scared of my dog plus the dog catcher already gave me a ticket 2 of them to top it off. Anyways he's not delivering my mail because of my dog on the street. Oh, my dog weights around 25lbs. I ended up complaining about this to his Superintendent, since then I've had nothing but problems with him not delivering my mail and the mailbox is at the corner of the block and it's a dead end street, also and It so happens he has grown up with my neighbors since high school because they still get their Mail because he actually visits them from time to time on the job to go hands them their mail off his truck and chats for a while. So since he knows my address he automatically says and assumes that my dog is out all the time, while my neighbors "his friends from school" dog is loose always and still at large.. This cozy post office personifies the traditional neighborhood hub. Yes it is tiny, with three stalwart agents working at the only three stations they have. But they're always efficient, patient and friendly, even during the holidays or when dealing with those of us who insist on shipping overseas, but can never remember the proper way to label our packages. Not sure what else I can review about a post office...I just know I'd miss it if it ever closed. read more

I can't say I've been to every post office in the United States, but this one has been the most memorable in excellent customer service and efficiency. I usually plan to wait 20 minutes in line at most post offices, but at this one, I am out at 15 minutes tops (I haven't had a problem yet, so I can't say how long it will take with a problem), including waiting and confirming my shipment. When I had even bought packaging to ship an item, the kind lady behind the counter informed me I could have used the packaging I already had, without any problems and with concern for me to save money. Other employees have a similar attitude in providing outstanding customer service. They're quite considerate here! Parking is plentiful, although, it might be a slight problem getting out if you park in front of the doorsteps, which is, by the way, further down, closer to the inside of the plaza. There's a older guy that works at the window that refuses to let me send my packages media mail. Always tell me my packages have to be mailed first class priority. No wonder USPS is going out of business. Stealing peoples money with lame ass excuses saying my packages cannot be mailed media mail. They are horrible. I had to take a day off from work to renew my kits passports. And I arrieved at 1 pm. When I step to the counter, it's like 1:03pm. Somone told me that lunch hour is 1-2pm and to come back after 2. pm. Post office open till 5pm. So, OK. I then took my kids to lunch. we were back about 2:15pm. People processing the passport renewal said,WE ARE CLOSED. WE USUALLY ONLY PROCESS 5 RENEWALS AFTER LUNCH. OMG, what a slow opperation. And they did not mentioned and warned me. A friend of mine who lives in South Carolina ask my wife and Me for support, her niece was having a fundraiser (Yankee Candle) for her dance group. We bought a candle and when the candle was being shipped we received an email to track when, where and the ETA of our candle. Looking at the process of the transportation of this candle it was to arrive on 9/24/16, I thought it was cool because we woukd be home all day until the evening. On Friday 9/23/16 at 11am I decided to check and see if it was still on time, going over the list of where it was going and heading it said "Delivery made to addressee" both my wife and I checked on our porch, the planters even our side door and no candle to be found. I called the customer number to find out what happened. The lady over the phone says "Sir, it means it arrived at your post office not at your home." That didn't set right with me, I felt something was wrong, I called the post office and ask for someone who was in charged with package deliveries. They gentleman name is Ray, I told him my situation how I checked on line and that my package wasn't delivered, I also explained that my wife snd I were home all day Friday and Saturday. Mr Ray checked the log of the mail carrier and it showed ut was delivered Friday morning at 10:33am and the Mr Ray says "Because it doesn't require a signature the person scanned the package and delivered it because it states this on his log." I told Mr Ray "I know our mail carrier comes between 11-11:30am Monday thru Saturday and if your mail carrier delivered it I would have saw it because I check our pourch every time I open the door. Your mail carrier either lied or delivered it to the wrong house." Mr Ray says "The person is off today he'll be back on Monday." I gave Mr Ray my cell number so he can call me back with the results. Monday came and went no phone call, I left messages yesterday 9/27/16 about the out come of his findings, I got nothing. Today 9/28/16 at 10:40am my wife saw some come to our frint door and bend down, she went to the door opened it and our Yankee Candle that was supposedly delivered on Friday was delivered today...it's damage here are the photos... read more

Why on earth would you have a phone number that doesn't go through ??? It's always busy no matter when you try and call. I absolutely hate coming to this post office, for the reason being every time I go in there I feel like it's a fight to try and get my package.. They always seem to 'misplace' it or they straight out tell me they don't have any fucking clue where it could be, oh and not to mention rude as hell. It Makes me think they have some Thieves working for them...
