Lived here for many years and the PO used to do pretty well. After a few folks left, 1 retired, the new crop of delivery folks don't seem to really give a crap. One in particular that has the route frequently is more concerned with her phone than anything else. Amazon sent me a package and there was a 'come pick it up' slip in my curbside box that said "heavy." They didn't even try to leave it. My security cameras verify this. Tried to reschedule but the slip wasn't entered into the system. At least other places like Amazon value their reputation and customer. read more

No clue how they can continue to operate like this. Someone really needs to step in. It has only gotten worse since I moved to LC 7 years ago. Packages are often sliced opened. When asked why, they just say they don't know. But it happens often. They also will show a package delivered when they have not been, no note, no attempt of delivery (we are home all day and we have a ring door bell). Then, they will list the package to keep at the post office per customer request. A request that was not made. It has taken 7 months for us to receive a letter from LC to us in LC. It has taken 3 months to receive a package from Pasadena. They will stop delivering to you for no reason, good luck finding the mail. Or when you move to a new address it will take 7 weeks to get them to start delivering and 3 visits to the post office to find your mail. The most ridiculous post office I have ever seen. read more

When I came, they promptly told me to kick rocks. When anyone bothers to answer the phone, they answer to either A) transfer you (pawn you off to someone else) or B) to hang up on you. The people on the inside are usually not as hateful and I've even seen one of the employees smile a couple years back. I've actually been shuffled back and forth between two employees until I asked for the girls name and she hung up on me. I just moved to the area in May, 2016. All of my "change of address" mail has been forwarded successfully to my new address. The letter carrier goes out of his/her way to get my parcels to my door step (and I have a long driveway). Many of my Amazon purchases are delivered USPS and I haven't had ANY issues. Maybe some of these other bad reviewers have been victims of "Porch Package Theft"? One did say she had "horrible neighbours", just saying. The Post Office here is nice. I haven't had any of the issues some of the other reviewers have had. I mean, it's a post office. I don't expect them to hand me a beer and massage my feet while I'm in there. I do not ever like posting bad reviews, but I am truly frustrated. A long-time and competent letter carrier retired, which I am sure was not an impromptu occurrence. What I do not understand is why couldn't management already have a carrier or carriers properly trained as backup(s) for the mail route. I've had missing mail for more than 2 weeks, yet there has been no word or resolution to uncover it. Really concerned, as so much confidential and critical mail goes through our post offices. I hate to write bad reviews, but when your own mail carrier screws up over and over, it tends to get a bit ridiculous. Last week I had a package opened & the contents stolen! This week, the carrier lost our 2 day package from Amazon & claimed that they "didn't receive the package yet" but on the USPS website the tracking number said they were in possession of my package. Multiple people in my neighborhood have had issues with their packages missing. Something fishy is going on at this League City post office, and it needs to be fixed! I wish they would close it. Please. I called the post master then I didn't get mail for 2 weeks. There has to be something we can do this is absurd. I get mail and boxes from people across town. I wouldn't give this Post Office any stars because their customer service is horrible. the only way to post a review is giving a rating on the starts....so I gave 1 star only for that purpose. I have called this postal service numerous of times for not delivering my mail in my box and marking the package as being delivered in my box. When calling, they leave you on hold for an hour or more and have a bad attitude when servicing you. I cannot say enough about how dissatisfied I am with the League City Post Office. Does anyone take responsibility for their poor performance. Having discussed that I continuously receive other residents mail I was assured by my carrier that it was not him but his replacement. So I watched and waited, it was not the replacement carrier. Having gone to the post office to pick up my mail I told the postal worker of my problems and guess what, in with my mail was someone else's. I am very tired with registered mails not being delivered.On March 31 noted they can't delivered a registered mail because nobody was home which is far from the truth.Several times happen that a mail men leaves a note in the mailbox because that easier than come to the house for signature.Very dishonest practice.To contact the post office by phone is impossible.Try to contact them by online but can't click on the tracking or article number so their on line site is sucks also. read more

I am very disappointed lately. Problems started arising on or about October 2014 and still until now January 2015. I own an online business and I buy my postage online and I drop packages daily. This is supposed to help me save time and money! I mail most of my packages via First Class Mail. Well my packages are being delayed lately at this location. They held my mail there at the League City USPS office and then they scan it 5 days later. Then adding the delays already happening at the Main North Houston USPS office it takes packages mailed via First Class Mail 10-15 business days to arrive. That is not acceptable! Now the story changes when you mail your packages Priority Mail which you have to pay double or more! Those packages usually arrive on time! Also the story changes if I buy my postage for my packages there. I went twice to ask about my packages being delayed and asked them why my packages were being held at that location for more than a week and they denied it. They blamed the problem to the Main North Houston Post Office. Well I went home very disappointed and frustrated as my customers were asking me where their packages were and I had no good explanation for them. Their tracking info online was showing that I had just bought postage for their packages but nothing else. Tracking information about my packages was finally showing the day I complained. Finally my packages were scanned so I went the next day to complain as to why they had held my packages for so long and they had denied knowing where my packages were. They acted obviously like if they did not know what was going on. My reason for the two stars is because there are some very nice employees who give excellent service and are friendly as well. One star goes for the Bald Guy with the pretty blue eyes. He has been very helpful and provides good customer service. He is friendly not like the other people there. The Second star goes for the mail man who picks packages from my home sometimes. So those two stars are for them, not for the service received at the League City Post Office. Who knows what those lazy employees in the backroom are doing! Delaying and losing packages are a big NO NO NO!! The end!!! read more

What's up with these idiots lately? How is it we have lived here over 13 years and all of a sudden we have a non deliverable address? We don't get the days mail until the following day if we are lucky. I will make sure when ordering anything to make sure NOT TO SHIP USPS. I will pay the extra money to have my packages delivered by a real Carrier UPS or FedEx. So why is it everyone in our neighborhood is having the same problems no packages being delivered but their tracking states it was dropped off really where the garbage as it was not delivered as per their site. I order from Amazon every couple of weeks. I get concerned every time I see the shipper switches from UPS to the Postal Service. The USPS is consistently delivering my packages to the wrong mail box and the wrong address. I just had a package that the delivery text stated the package was delivered on my front doorstep on a Sunday. I get home to find out it is not on my doorstep. Asked for mail to be held on June 11th because my mailbox lock was broken. Paid the $40 fee and was told 7-10 days to be repaired. Today is June 29th and it still hasn't been fixed. I have always been told that post offices are a dreaded place to go, but I found my trip to be the opposite. I went because my husband had neglected to tell me sooner that I had a certified letter slip in our mailbox, and I had already done the change of address as we were moving. Luckily the post office kept the letter and when I called, Martin was very helpful. He called me back to let me know they still had it there, and I could come pick it up. I went a few hours later, and was a little bummed out because I saw a long line, but after about 5 minutes, a worker called for people doing pickups only, so I was able to go right to the front! In another minute or 2, she was able to get my letter, and I was out the door :) read more

Honestly this office deserves no stars. Absolutely horrible servicing, and a lack of knowledge on how to manage a line. I waited for over an hour for a passport, as there were two people sitting at the desk. When I went to see if there was someone there actually processing them, it turns out that for an entire hour, no one was there. I am absolutely appalled at the inexperience and stupidity of employees. There was a long line for passports and yet, two employees were working on regular mail delivery. Absolutely unprofessional. We have had several items that someone left on their desk for weeks. 1- post marked 3/30 not rec'd until 5-28 others post marked 5-14, 5-21 and again not delivered until 5-28. Money in the account should not be an issue. I have tried calling re this situation and spent several hours on hold for someone to come to the phone. Like everyone else on here , If I could give 0 STARS I would. Where do I even start?? Years ago when the battle between my family and the post office first started, the mail woman would go weeks without delivering our mail, when we asked why she stated that the cars in my driveway were out in the street and that she wasn't allowed to give us mail if that happens. So of course, we move the cars and still no mail. After this we talked to nearly everyone at the post office ( post master, postal inspector, literally anyone else in charge) all the while being as respectful as possible about our mail woman ( we assumed she simply made a few mistakes but still needed our mail yo) Again, after this STILL NO MAIL. Why you ask? Because the mail lady kept " missing our box " and it's " illegal for [her] to back up the truck to deliver it " so she would not be giving us mail. This went on for a year and finally ended. Now that the crazy retaliation against my family has ended, the post office has developed a worse habit of just losing any package you order, but still marking it as "delivered". What can a person even do about this ?? Time and time again we've payed money to order something online only to have it " delivered" to no one. Once I even received what looked to be an envelope containing a gentlemen's insurance compensation ( of course no one opened it ) and had to return it to him 3 NEIGHBORHOODS AWAY FROM MINE. Don't expect to receive passport services during the advertised hours. They obviously do not respect people's time. They say they open at 9am - NOT TRUE. My husband and I both had to wait over an hour on two separate occasions until someone just decided to show up even though the hours are posted 9am-2pm. I don't usually post reviews but I would have liked a heads up about this so I wouldn't have had to miss so much work. Hope this helps someone else. I am really frustrated with our Post Office. On Oct.12,2017 I filled out a form to hold our mail until I come back on Nov.6,2017. When I went to pickup our mail the Post Office clerk informed me that there was no mail on hold and that it was probably delivered to our mailbox. I insisted that all our mail should be on hold until I come back, well no answer to that. And sure enough all our mail for 25 days was squished out in our mail box. I wonder if all our mail is in that small mailbox. Two weeks later I received 3 credit card statements charging me late fee's and that is because I didn't received the credit card bills. By the way, this happened before on April 25,2017 to put my mails on hold and will pick it up on May 11,2017. Same thing happened, it was delivered in my mailbox instead of holding. So what's the point of filling up the form to hold mails? read more

Had many problems with them putting our mail in the wrong boxes(yes, they can't even get that right!) , delivering packages to wrong houses( is it really that hard to read an address). We've been dealing with that for 13 years! But, today was the icing on the cake!! Went down there to file applications for passports for my kids. Website said they open at 9:00. Sitting there waiting, (with 10 other people) . One lady is working the counter. At 9:15 she tells us that someone will help us at 9:30. Well, 9:30 came and went and still no one! Finally at 10:15 another woman comes out (looking like she was hating life) she glares at me and my kids(we were first in line) and says we have to wait on postal customers first. You'll have to wait! I said, so how much longer will that be? We've been patiently sitting here for one and a half hours! She shrugged her shoulders and walked off. Zero Stars for failure in all respects. This office is a Third World operation. After reading all the issues I have had with this post office, my statement will not sound like an exaggeration. I just spoke to a short, fat, middle-aged lady with long brown hair (don't know her name, thus the description) at the post office this morning, 9am. The post office was empty. There was no one waiting in line. From the moment I said hello, she had a nasty attitude and body language, as if I was bothering her. (As a tax paying U.S. citizen, YOU are paid TO SERVE the people.) She couldn't even make eye contact. I politely tried to explain my package was not delivered. Before I could finish, she curtly and rudely said, "it was sent on the wrong route and will be delivered today." I told her I made an online request to pick up the package from the post office, as that was an option given on the website. She said, again rudely and shifty eyed, "Well, the package is already in the buggy and they're not going to go digging for it now." I didn't care to stoop to the same level of nastiness and remained calm. I explained that my package was not "undeliverable" due to wrong routing. I showed her the note on the USPS tracking web page that said "not delivered because there was no secure location to leave the package" at my address. She continued with her nasty attitude and said the note was not true, the carrier "called time" (whatever that means) on the package delivery, inserting a random excuse for not delivering. She repeated like an angry robot, "it will be delivered to you today." If it is not delivered today, I will update this post. I will add, this post office has been a nightmare. The last 5 packages (tracked) were not delivered to my home. The tracking web page would say they were "out for delivery," but never delivered. Each time I had to call the post office to have them find out what happened. That was not a short and easy task. Hours of being on-hold. Apparently, I was told by an honest employee, the carrier would "forget to deliver" my package and would send it back to the North Houston distribution center. How does that happen with 5 different packages in a row from May 2015-Sept 2015?!! Sheer incompetence and lack of thoroughness and attention. Complaints the USPS should address: * rude office personnel * incompetent carriers - 5 undelivered packages in as many months and falsifying attempts to deliver (There were no notices left at my door or mail box that delivery attempts were made. I was only aware that my packages were not delivered because I tracked each one online myself, luckily for me. And then the USPS employees behave in anger towards me! Are you kidding? I didn't screw up over and over again. Your employees did! I deserve to be angry, but have kept my cool throughout this.) I recommend the USPS perform a thorough evaluation of the employees at this location. Either retrain them to behave as professionals and attentive carriers, or replace them with people who already are. Hire people who WANT to do this job and enjoy working with and FOR the public. read more

I would give zero stars if I could! The blond lady named Judy is a WITCH-as soon as I walked in with my 3 young kids to get them passports, she says' go sit over there it's going to be a LONG wait! There were three others waiting in line ahead of me for passports, and instead of alotting 1 out of the 3 employees that were working to take care of these people spending a LOT of money on passports, Judy kept going back over to her desk and waiting on people that had arrived AFTER US that were buying stamps or mailing packages. One guy getting a passport hesitated when she asked him how he was going to pay for it,and she told him, "When you figure it out, I'll come back to take care of you." And she proceeded to check out other people and left him sitting there for 15 minutes! One lady that was mailing a package was told, "Honey, if you'd put somebody's NAME on that package it'd probably speed things up a little bit." Very sarcastically. I couldn't count the number of times she said Honey or Sweetie to people in a rude and sarcastic way with her smoker's voice. And then, when I finally got waited on, she had the nerve to look at my kids behind me, who were very rowdy by that point from waiting, and asked me "Are these ALL yours?" UM, YES. And your point is??? Oh, and even though it says their passport line is open until 3 pm on the website, Judy informed me that they've been trying to get that changed for YEARs, and that it is really 2pm. But that didn't stop Muhammed the manager from coming out at 1:30 or so and telling another group of people that the line was CLOSED and to go to the Galveston County building on Calder instead.
