The service requested for money order for 2.35 . The value is good for convenience. I don't have car waiting to repair my sienna's engine short on money. I tried using my EBT card to pay my rent but did not work 2 times. The best thing is I met Liz who was patient and really helped me out it it's above and beyond. I was surprised that it was not busy timing is everything. I highly recommend this place of business and am grateful to meeting beautiful people as Liz. Twice they've put in a random fucking country or address when I send a package (which then gets lost - surprise)... And twice they've decided to refuse to deliver a package of great value (monitary and sentimental) to my address in Glassell Park. (YES it was the correct address). Would give it negative 5 if I could. No one ever answers the phone. Have been trying to get someone for an hour and a half. Rings then hangs up. Hold packages for no reason and say that customer requested hold which is not true. Delivery is sporadic and sometimes receive neighbors mail instead of my own. This post office is doing fraud, they are claiming that boxes are either wrong sizes and or the weight is off. I have been shipping packages for over 20 years now and this past year they started doing this to us on multiple platforms. This is beyond ridiculous and frustrating. They believe that people do not look at their statements and they give you the run around constantly, I tried to speak to them about the issue all they did was transfer me to people who can not help. Since I buy the shipping labels online as a third party seller they claim they can not help me. No one helps and no one does anything about it. Shame on the USPS for doing this and quite frankly almost all the employees are so rude. I try to use other mailing carriers now as much as possible. There are some good souls at USPS but I'll tell you a couple of interesting instances. One time, the mail person did not deliver because "there was an animal on my property". What animal because I want to know too??? I ain't got an animal that I know of. Maybe a spider, SURE. My favorite second instance was when I dropped off a package from LA to Palm Springs (in CA). Funny thing is, I got two other items from the Post Office today so the only excuse I can think of is they forgot to bring it with them when doing their rounds. Let me start off by telling you that the service here is great. I stopped by today at around 10:30 and there was three windows open with great customer service. I mailed out two packages all within less than 5 minutes. Now the downside is that there is literally no parking. There was only one other customer inside but all the parking in the lot was taken. There's about 4 to 5 regular spots. There was a sign that said 20 minute limit but I'm not sure how heavily that is enforced. I ended up having to find parking on the street to access the post office. All in all if the parking was a tad bit more assessable I would frequent this post office more! read more

The mail lady for my area is terrible. There's always been an issue with my packages. When she started, my packages were left in front of my apartment building out in the open and were stolen. When i called and complained she stopped leaving it out front and now leaves it on the stairs. Literally in the middle of the staircase or at the very top. A few more steps and she could easily leave it on my front door. PURE LAZINESS. I see her in her truck for about 10-20 on her phone so i know she has time. It frustrates me that she cannot leave it in front of my door. I don't want my packages to get stolen and every time she's delivering i feel stressed if i'll make it home on time to make sure it doesn't get stolen. Another "delivered" undelivered mail. This time in front of my face. I see the mailman come up my driveway, make a quick u turn, scan a package, lo and behold, I get a notification saying my package was delivered. How does the driver have the gall to do that? Lmfao, you can literally hand me my package man. Two stars because outside of this new? Driver, I like the staff and most delivery drivers. But this kind of lazy behavior makes you lose trust. There is a girl who works here who has zero knowledge about international mail I wanted to ship a first class parcel to NZ and she would only accept it as priority mail for $68. I went to a different office to mail my package first class for $35. Then next day she wouldn't mail an intl Letter registered with tracking. Again I had to go to a different office to get services that should be provided. I don't want to be mean but they are so dumb. read more

After the staff were changed the services improved. Customer service is more friendly with knowledgeable & attentive staff. I have more peace of mind now for my shipments especially in high value. I've been coming to this post office almost weekly for the past year now and it's finally time to write a review. This is by far the best USPS location, specifically because of staff member Franczine (spelling?). She works so hard, always scans my stack packages, is super friendly with good energy, and she moves the line quickly so there is rarely a line here unless you come right at opening/closing. Now to the logistics - there's a private parking lot with 3/4 spaces - this location is wheelchair accessible - there is free street parking for about 3/4 cars as well - they offer p.o. boxes here, but those may be sold out? Not much else to say, it's USPS, you know the deal, but the staff is what makes this location truly special. read more

This post office is the worst post office I have ever been to and unfortunately it's the one that delivers my mail. They never deliver packages on time yesterday we never got our mail and my package. When I checked the status of my package it said that there "was no access to delivery point" total BS! I have video footage of the mail man driving by my house and never even stopped. I guess when there running extremely behind they prefer to hold on to everyone's mail for the next day. I hate hate hate this post office I always have an issue! Long story short, if you're in line and you get Jesus as your clerk, wait for the next available representative and go to them instead (if Francis is there, go to her-she is amazing). I have never had such a bad customer service experience as I did the last couple of times Jesus was the clerk to "help" me. At the beginning of the year my husband and I moved and setup mail forwarding. Unfortunately, the person living at our old address has almost the exact same last name as us (only one letter is different in the spelling) and USPS began forwarding HIS mail to our new address. This problem went on for months. Every couple weeks I would drive to whatever the closest Post Office location was and a different employee would give me a new solution to try to fix the problem, and also help me get the mail back to the person living at our old address. Time after time the solutions would fail and we would still receive more of his mail. A few weeks ago I went again to try to resolve the problem and return some mail to the guy at our old address. Jesus was the clerk who "helped me", but he offered no solutions and didn't even apologize to me for the inconvenience. Instead he told me I needed to cancel my mail forwarding and refused to help send the pieces of mail I had back to the guy at our old address. I begged him to help me get the mail back to the guy. He still refused, saying I would have to buy a large envelope for all the mail and pay for postage myself. I told him that this had never happened to me before with any of the other USPS employees who had helped me, and to please, please send this mail back to the guy. Eventually he said "I'll take care of it" and took the mail from me. Turns out he did not send it back to the guy, but returned it all to sender, causing the guy at our old address to get a call from his insurance agent saying his property had been flagged as vacated. I did try to cancel our mail forwarding online but was unable to. Today I went back again to return more mail and try to cancel our mail forwarding in person. Jesus was the clerk to help me once again. He proceeded to berate me in front of the whole post office for not cancelling our mail forwarding and said that it was my fault that I'd been receiving mail from the guy at our old address for so long. He again refused to help me return the pieces of important mail. He didn't even pretend to be friendly, to apologize, or to help. I understood at this point the problem would never be solved, but I was at least hoping for a mediocre customer service experience. Having an employee shame you in front of everyone for a problem that their system is responsible for is too much. read more

The absolute worst post office in existence and I have pictures to prove it. I always dread having packages delivered through USPS because I know somehow these guys will mess it up somehow. It's happened multiple times already where I have a package that was out for delivery, it gets marked as delivered, but then the package doesn't show up until the next day. Other times, like more recently, I have a package set to be delivered, but they have some BS excuse as to why they could not deliver the package. The most recent excuse was that the "mail receptacle was blocked", which is impossible as my mailbox is on my front porch. So unless a giant boulder appeared on my front porch without me knowing, it would be impossible for my "mail receptacle" to be blocked. They say they left a notice of attempted delivery, but there wasn't anything on my door or on my porch. I check my tracking info, and it tells me that action is needed to proceed with delivery. How can I take action, when you guys won't answer the phone and did not leave a notice on what I should do? Even worse, this was on a Saturday, so I can't even call them since they're closed on Sundays. So I call Monday morning, and after 2 or 3 calls someone FINALLY picks up. I give the lady my tracking info and she tells me "It should arrive today" (you would think). That sounded as reassuring as you would think. So now my package (package 1) is set to arrive on the same day as another package I have been expecting (package 2). Package 1's delivery has now been delayed for 2 days. Since they don't update package 1's tracking # at all, I wait until my 2nd package says delivered, and I go to check my front porch. Finally at 6:30PM (after they are already closed btw), package 2's tracking says it's been delivered. I go to check, and what do you know, package 1 has still not been delivered. I can't even call the post office as they are already closed. I wait about an hour and check package 1's tracking #, and it has now been updated saying they ATTEMPTED TO DELIVER about 30 minutes after package 2 was delivered but could not complete it because they did not have access to the delivery location. SO PLEASE TELL ME HOW YOU DELIVERED MY OTHER PACKAGE? You guys aren't even good at covering up your lazy work. If only I could give this place 0 stars. Hopefully I get my package before another new year. ***Notice the time and dates on my 2 separate tracking #s in my photo. Also on the right tracking info, the 2 "delivery attempts" on 1/20 and 1/22. 1/23 Edit 1: Update, package now says delivered and handed to an individual. It's quite incredible, an entire building full of useless post office employees. An entire building full of them! It's pretty impressive. Last I checked it's 2017 and these people can't even figure out how to edit a website so that it reflects ACCURATE information. They say they take Passport walk-ins on the website...they don't and they have no interest in helping you. No apologies, no accommodation for their own mistakes and miscommunication, they just put their hands up and say there's nothing they can do, then kick you out. Then they all just stare at each other with blank faces because they clearly don't care to be helpful. Again, quite impressive, an whole building dedicated to inefficiency and the worst customer service you can imagine. Do yourself a favor and save yourself from the frustration each of these employees embody. Never thought I'd be giving a post office a review... For context, I've been here a couple times and live literally down the block. Firstly, their passport hours are WRONG on the USPS website. They've changed their passport acceptance hours to 12pm instead of the later time that's listed on the website. However, when I was freaking out about how I was going to expedite my passport, the lady really threw me a bone and suggested I go to Glendale's post office as they process them until 4pm. My second visit was on a Saturday right before closing. I was coming to pick up a package that FedEx was unable to deliver to me. I was greeted happily and asked how I was doing by a pleasant woman (I wish I had asked her name). When I told her why I was visiting, I realized that their pick up hours were probably over, but she still sent a supervisor to help me and I got my package! Overall, it really seems like they're sincerely there to help you and that's quite rare nowadays with post offices. Another notable thing is that their line seems to move quicker than other post offices! read more

Small but good service. They may be short staffed but the line manage to move fast enough and the employees were super nice!

I manage properties in the LA area and this post office is one of the worst I've dealt with. We installed new mailboxes at the complex I manage and the post office has to install their universal lock on the new boxes in order to deliver mail. Well, after requesting this, the post office told me they have no control on when this gets done, so it could be a week or even a couple months before the lock gets installed and my tenants can receive mail again. I've never had this happen in other city post office around LA. I'd give it 0 stars if I could. read more

Yes the parking lot can get tight, but there is nearby street parking and several dedicated spots out front on Eagle Rock Blvd. The A/C cranks so it is particularly awesome in the summertime! And the clerks are all knowledgeable and professional and friendly. I want to start off by saying this was my first time shipping a package ANYWHERE EVER. I came in to ship a package and was standing at the window for sometime while Bhavna was on her phone and did not acknowledge that I was there. After waiting a while I asked for her assistance and mentioned multiple times I have not shipped anything before.
