I've had positive experiences with pretty much every employee at this USPS branch other than one man. Raul Herrera (not sure on last name spelling). You'll recognize the man I'm talking about, long white hair and beard, eternal frown, vocally insistent that all of the negativity in his life stems from you and your audacity to be a patron at HIS branch of the USPS. He closes the gate outside the door usually about 30 min before closing, and the only time I've ever seen him smile is at the misfortune of others or denying acceptance of a package. read more

I was the only person in the post office and he stood at the window with his eyes shut, falling asleep, as I wait to come up to the window. Brought in a package and something to mail. The package wasn't taped closed so he pushed it back to me. I asked if I could buy some tape. Said he didn't have it (it was on the wall behind him). This is an old building that has a bit of character still left in it. I was in need of some postcard stamps but unfortunately they are not in demand in this area so they had none available in stock. The man helping was complaining the entire time about how I have too many packages and how he can't be checking in so many packages because he's here alone. I stopped by in the afternoon asked about a package. Staff is amazing very friendly!, I spoke to the manager about a package. Manager was very helpful and understood my situation. I went ahead and asked to hold my package so I can pick it up the next day. Two hours later I get a phone call saying your package is on it's way! Each time I go in there its the same thing. The elderly guy there gives an attitude when asked any question. You hand him a package and it is just thrown somewhere with an attitude. It's sad that this is the type of service we get in our area. I asked him a simple question, he immediately huffed at me so disturbed. Like if it was such a hassle to answer my question. He was so rude. It was my first time returning something at a post office I decided to come to this one since it was the closest to my house. Let me start off with I had a horrible experience with the person in the counter which was a elderly man with long gray hair. He was very rude when I asked him to print out a return label. He also made a comment on my box which I was not going to return my item in.He told me that I have to come back with my box ready and then he would give me the return label then I said what does the label have to do with the box he then replied I'm not saying anything it's the computer. Both Amazon and my Echo Dot say that my package was delivered and left in my mail box, yet there ia nothing in my mailbox. This USPS office often does not deliver my packages in time and does not leave me a notification indicating that they attempted to deliver my package so that I can pick it up at the post office. Also, they have left packages outside my door, but do not knock at all to let me know they are delivering a package and leaving it there! These actions really upset me. They are very careless with package deliveries. I have tried to fo into tje office to explain this, but the mailperson I spoke with insisted thay they leave s notificarion when a delivery is attempted. Ok, so the people in the post office are nice and friendly. Never had any issues when I visited the office. The mail carriers are horrible! It's never the same person, never at the same time and never deliever my packages even when tracking states it's out for delivery. Usually when you're getting delivered a large package, the mail carriers leave it in the truck until they finish they're mail route, then drive up to the residence and deliver it but my mail carriers are lazy and will just scan it as unable to deliver when they had just dropped off my mail. I've had to call the post office multiple times and until I call I'll get my packages. Even had a supervisor personally come deliver a package and apologize. read more

Probably my worst experience at a post office. There's been three packages that have been sent through USPS that have never arrived. Someone has been stealing my mail and I've contacted this office since it's closest to my home -although the one in Atlantic Boulevard is my go-to post office- and had a bad experience. Through an email, I informed them that my package did not arrive although it said 'Delivered.' About a week later, the office replied apologizing they couldn't do anything and claiming it was delivered and if I didn't receive it, I should call to inform them. I was disappointed considering my package was lost though I wanted to report the fact that I did not receive it since there's likely someone stealing them. I called today and a very busy woman answered. She answered immediately but put me on hold for almost six minutes since she was talking to another customer. I told her I emailed the office yet she insisted she needed the tracking number without any other information. I proceeded to read to her my tracking number with no indication she was writing each number down- it was very silent on her end. She then informed me that she was not able to track the package because it was not in the USPS format. I told her that my shipment was sent through a third-party company called FedEx Smartpost (an important piece of information I included in the email). She then began to get irked and raised her voice repeating what she said a minute ago. Though if she said she was unable to track it, how did the email sender know it was, infact, delivered? I only called to inform the post office that my package did not arrive-- not to complain and ask where my shipment was. Yet the whole ordeal took at least 10 minutes and didn't accomplish a thing. This post office is understaffed, you're better off delivering your packages yourself. read more

This post office by far is my favorite. There is one employee name Hector., who is very polite, kind and understanding. He explains your best options when shipping parcels. One day I was in panic mode for my package. He track my package which was sent address incorrectly . Hector was able to find my package which was a wedding gift! I seen the other clerks call on him for help to explain things. Customers wait in his line for his help because he is down to earth and knows what he is talking about. He also speaks Spanish. Which is a BIG asset for the community. I had always thought he was the post office manager there. I was surprise he was not. I have been a customer for three years. Hector is the best! read more
