USPS-- PLEASE HIRE MORE WORKERS I am frequently required to go to USPS throughout the week, and this location is the closest to my house. They allegedly open at 9:00am; however, I do not think there is a single time I have been here when they have opened at that time. This delay is not the employees' fault, but due to USPS's own inability to staff its stores. There is at least 5-6 people at minimum waiting in line before the store opens, but there is always only one poor employee who has to deal with every package and every request, no matter how stupid they are. Even more ridiculous, this location is sited in the heart of Brickell, but not one single employee speaks Spanish. I consistently have to watch mistranslations between customers and the store, and usually other customers in line have to step in and offer their own translations for even the simplest transactions. Again, I do not want to blame any of this on the employees at this location--they are working as hard as they can and are forced to deal with a lot. All of these issues are fully on USPS, and they have a duty to adequately staff their locations. read more

I came here on an afternoon last week to buy stamps and the staff was rude. My girlfriend and I were chatting and walked in but they just snapped at us out of nowhere. BEST STAFF EVER! I run a small business and make daily trips to the post office. I have a few of them around my area so I'm always going to all of them depending on my other errands that day. Today I somehow forgot to grab one of the bags of my packages while leaving the house. I made it just in time to the post office at 4:58pm. I saw that they leave the lobby open past 5pm (but close the half where the registers are) so I tested my luck and went back home to get the bag that I forgot and hoped I could catch someone when I got back. I rushed back to the post office with my bags and buzzed the service door ( please don't do this unless a DIRE emergency like in my case (I was shipping a perishable for a birthday) because it's probably very annoying for the staff AND the doorbell sounds soooooo annoying lol). I buzzed maybe three times and waited (while saying a prayer that God could have mercy on my soul just this one last time) and the kind young lady in the back finally came out. (Her makeup was done so nice and her lipstick was a really cute hot pink color btw, so eccentric but not like obnoxious or anything). I immediately thanked her sooooooooo much for opening the door and accepting my leftover packages. I expected her to be annoyed but she was actually super chill and kind and even smiled back at me. Maybe I just looked comically desperate, idk lol. Either way, she really made my week! How such little favor on her end made such a major difference for me. DO NOT COME HERE !!!! Worst post office I ever been to . I came there to ship a package all ready boxed and sealed up . Some black woman at the counter told me I have to fill out a slip since it's international shipping. I filled out the slip she gave me and she said she will send it off . 1 week later I receive that same package back at my door step . I try to call the post office location but no answer so I drive back over there . And they tell me there is no slip and they made me fill out the slip AGAIN. I asked for my money back and just keep the shipment but they didn't wanna give up the money . So I had to fill out another slip . Staff was extremely unfriendly. Garbage place . Went to get tape and to drop off my already paid for packages & this lady was a major bitch. She needs to be fired and the way I was treated and she was barking at me you would thought it was something personal. She's needs to jobless with that attitude, there are more people in the US who understands how to be pleasant and values their jobs. This woman clearly does not, acting out like a pig in front of customers to see. I was so embarrassed as everyone stated in awe. The door was open, it 5.04pm I & didn't need her services other thantape and a drop box and all I hear is this woman screaming and charging towards me "WE'RE CLOSED, WE'RE CLOSED x5..I begin to explain I don't need her help just tape and the drop box, show her my paid for flat rate label & she screams at me "MAAM GET OUT! GET OUT!! I DONT CARE, USE THE DROP BOX AROUND THE CORNER!! GET OUT" I say where is it, she replies "FIND IT! ITS AROUND THE CORNER" I say what corner??, she replies "MAAM GET OUT!!! IT IS AROUND THE CORNER'" I'll be sure to go back on Weds when I have class and get her full name and number to file a complaint about her. I will add this to the USPS complaint under Rude/Unprofessional everyday until I no longer see her face at this location. I got time. It's my first time using this location & I have my grad classes upstairs. I hope they have videos. Fire this lady. She gives your company a bad name. Small Brickell post office location, no parking though. But if you are doing errands in the area, is definitely helps bumping into one of these. Service is good, not extremely bad according to the other reviewers. Like everything else, some days are good some others ok. As a customer, would like good or better service everyday. Do remember, these people are standing there ALL day. Hit or miss for line service, lunch time is the worst. People go out and do errands at this time. This is probably the worst post office I've been to. I somehow got the wrath of the redhead, and she wasn't even the one helping me out. I got the other lady. I don't understand. This is how it went down in brief. My bf and I walked in, and he warned me don't use the priority tape they will make you pay priority. The ladies here are very mean and particular and will find something wrong and tell it to your face. Then I told him to stop thinking so negatively about people, they can't be that bad. It wasn't crowded, I'm nice so they'll be nice. Was I wrong. The girl in front of me used the priority tape. So she made her leave the line and buy regular tape. My old post office use to provided tape for free, but after I saw that I approached the other lady and asked her if she wanted to split the tape. She thought it was a great idea. I left the line too and we did that. Once I got to the front again, I hear the lady with the redhair (I don't mean to keep on calling her that & sound rude but she hides her name badge, if not I would address her by her name) say "Shes the one who split the tape with the other girl, and grunts at me," gives her coworker a thumbs and my lady proceeds and says you have to pay priority. I didn't understand. My price jumped from $5-6 to $11-$12. THAT WAS RIDICULOUS. I was sending media and she didn't let me pay media price. I paid for my box, I paid for the tape and they still didn't like that. I insisted and she was like no. I tend to see people positively until proven otherwise and I don't want to say my bf was right but he was. So you've been WARNED. You can try all you want to avoid problems with them/her but good luck. I know for a fact I will never go back to that location. USPS needs to address this issue. They're losing business as it is due to technology, the last thing they need is bad customer service. read more

We sell on Ebay and our postage pre-paid packages go missing from this specific location. When you go back to the post office to complain they say you never dropped off the package or someone stole it from them. The do not check prepaid packages in. They force you to leave them and they say they will do it later or take care of it. I am pretty sure someone in that location does their free shopping these packages. Read the reviews here. Just had a great experience, again, with Robert helping me. Made a shipment before Christmas and he helped us out to make sure we knew all the details and used the correct packaging to make sure our shipment made it to Europe. Then, just went back today to send some books and again he really helped us out. We had pre-pod labels but needed to get boxes and packing material/wrap. He made sure again that we got the correct size and proper boxes and helped us seal them up securely. Really made our day feel positive. Especially after we had just visited two other USPS locations including the new one at Miracle Mile in Coral Gables. Perhaps it was discrimination by the staff there against us but the two woman who were on duty were mean and dismissive towards us. We approached them with the same courtesy and questions, but instead of being friendly, polite and helpful like Robert at Brickell station, these two women never even put down and looked up from their phones. One was on Instagram. The other was watching a video. We clearly were a distraction and nuisance to them. All we wanted to do were ship books. Using our pre-paid USPS media mail label and purchase the proper packaging. We were the only people in the store. There were two of them. Neither looked up to help us. They responded dismissively and with annoyance. Before becoming rude and aggressive and basically turning their backs on us while we politely asked if we insulted them in anyway. The only explanation can be that those women at the Miracle Mile location discriminated against us for some reason (race, gender, etc.) while Robert at the Brickell location was a true professional. Certain customers there's no issues with them cutting the line or their orders taking longer, but with others you get screamed at for no apparent reason. I had a package delivered to a business on Saturday that was closed, i was not left a note or anything like i was said to have, so just to make sure that it would be delivered on the following business day ( Monday ), i decided to call. Called 4 time's before i got an answer. When i finally did, I was very polite and asked what would happen to the package, and if i had to go get it myself, but before i could finish she said, with an attitude i might add, "it'll be delivered today!, Thank you, have a nice day" then an abrupt hang up... Usually i let the post office take it's time and never worry about if I'll get my package because i try and trust that they care about where a package goes, but I'm very worried my package will never find it's way to it'd destination because of not only the yelp reviews but what employee attitude i heard so far. This is my closest post office and I just HAD to write a review :) I never visited a post office quite like this small one tucked away in a large building on brickell avenue. First of all, parking is EXTREMELY easy (yes did I just say extremely easy in BRICKELL?). They have parking at the building (but it is $4 for up to a HALF HOUR which in my opinion is a little pricy). The staff is extremely friendly, attentive, and efficient. I visited here during the Christmas season on the last day that you were able to send mail for it to arrive on time and what I expected to be over an hour wait, was no more than a 20 minute wait. This was due to the great staff which walked up and down the line making sure that everyone had filled out everything and packed it correctly so that when they arrived to the window, it was good to go! Today, I visited in order to ship two different envelopes overnight. She pointed me to the direction of where to fill out the two forms that were needed and I was in and out in less than 5 minutes! There was a line of about 5 people which went extremely quick as the staff is really THAT good! I highly highly recommend this location. If you are not close, DRIVE here! It is really worth it. There is never a wait longer than 5 minutes and I came at lunch time in Brickell. Wouldn't you think it would be packed? Love this location! read more

The most terrible USPS I have ever been, I work on eBay for 4 years, and have seen how my packages disappeared, I moved to Miami 1 month ago and after I bring 2 packages on different time to this Usps, they disappeared, somebody stole it, I don't know what to do? They told me that impossible, but it fact, I lost a lot of money, I even think about going to police. Update: 2 days later, I sent an empty shoe box( it was hard, in good shape, but I put plastic wrap around) paid for 1 pound through EBay, then the lady in Usps changed me more thought my account, but it didn't not help that I payed a lot for the shipping and that I put it in plastic wrap, they destroyed my package (I made a redound to the buyer ) and lost extra $10 on the f...... shipping) they just needed sent it from downtown to sunny Islas, why they can't do even that?! read more

I'm leaving a review specifically for the RUDE cashier woman with red hair. Miami is a dog friendly place. They are welcomed in almost all establishments, except maybe the Brickell Post Office. When I brought my small, well behaved dog to the counter this cashier doesn't smile, just rudely says no dogs allowed. On other occations I have brought my dog to the same location with no trouble. I told this to the cashier and she responded with, "Well, you got away with it last time." I set my package down on the counter and she quickly pushed it back at me. She told me to "get the package off the counter. I said there are no dogs allowed. There is a sign on the door." I looked for said sign and no sign exsists ANYWHERE in the building. This woman seriously hates her job and loves to be nasty to people. Sorry lady, you are in the CUSTOMER SERVICE business. Try being nice to people or find a new job where you don't have to interact with the public. Unfortunately, the post office is a necessary evil. The only saving grace was after I returned from walking my dog all the way home, the line was short and the other cashier that helped me was very nice. read more

OMG I never review but this was too crazy not to. I just read the past reviews and I also had an issue with the red headed cashier!! We were a few waiting in line when an elderly man approached the counter asking the cashier about the pricing of a priority envelope. This elderly man clearly had a disability; he couldn't hear well because he kept asking the lady to repeat herself. The employee answered him wihout tact and she was extremely rude, yelling at him to go to the wall behind. He was clearly confused and wandering around trying to understand what she meant. I clearly had no idea since I did not know what the man was seeking. Instead of the lady leaving the counter and trying to assist the man (would have taken 30 seconds) she kept yelling at him "THE WALL BEHIND YOU" and then began to berate the customers in line for not helping the elderly man find the package. (1. It is her job to help him 2. None of us understood what he wanted to mail or do, that's where her knowledge as a usps employee comes in). She became visually agitated at the man and would repeatedly yell at him the price when he couldn't understand what she was saying. The elderly man then said, "sorry I have a hearing disability I can't hear well". The way this elderly man was treated was DISGUSTING and an embarrassment, this was a scenario worthy for YouTube. The way the employee began to berate us, the customers in line, was shocking. If that man asked me for help, I would have, but he asked for the employee, the one who knows the best prices and sizes for shipping.
