There's a parking lot which I've never had trouble finding a spot in. It can be a little hard to get to depending on which way you're coming from, but all in all, it's not too bad. The line can be long but usually moves pretty fast. It's true the staff doesn't go out of their way to please, but I've always gotten the help that I've needed. This is a relatively small, somewhat basic US Post Office, located on Miracle Mile about a block…read morefrom Douglas. Aside from the manned counter where one can mail packages, buy stamps and obtain other standard USPS services, this location also has a section with several rows of PO boxes and a slot to drop off postage paid envelopes and small packages that's normally open 24 hours, though it's currently locked when the service counter isn't manned due to Covid. The biggest plus about this particular USPS location is the operating hours of the full-service counter, as it's staffed later than most and has some very attractive Saturday hours...It's open until 6pm through the week AND from 10am to 6pm on Saturdays. The parking situation isn't the best, as your only options are the "Park by Phone" spots along the streets or the paid parking in the garage above this post office. The 2 or 3 spots directly in front of this place are often marked valet only. That said, if already conducting business in this general area, this post office is a good alternative to the much larger (and usually busy & slow) main Coral Gables post office a few blocks away.

Review on passport experience only…read more My husband and I came with a passport appointment for our baby on a Wednesday morning. Upon arrival, the staff told us that unfortunately the camera was broken but they suggested to go to the Walgreens near by to quickly take the pictures. We didn't loose our reservation but we needed to go get the pictures at the pharmacy and return. We went there and got pictures done very quickly. We came back and they immediately started the process for the passport. Everyone was helpful. I believe Tavia is the name of the lady who took care of us. She was very professional, efficient and respectful. She did the process pretty fast and explained to us when and what to expect. I noticed there are many bad reviews for this location but I have to say my experience with the passport agent was pleasant. Other than the camera issue, everything was done on time and everyone was behaving in a professional manner. You definitely NEED to make an appointment for passport transactions and come with all your documents ready, then, they will be able to do their job in a timely manner.

I had a mailing request and wasn't completely sure about the best way to send my letter, but they guided me through the process and made sure everything was done correctly. You can tell they know what they're doing and care about helping people get things right. The ladies is what makes this place cool and reliable. Another perk is the free parking in front. I really appreciated their support, it turned what could've been a confusing errand into a smooth experience. Also, a big plus that they're open on Saturdays until 2 PM, which is super convenient. Just improve the overall aspect of it and installations and it would win two additional stars.

This particular Saturday, there were only two slow attendants to deal with a line that wrapped around the counter. This particular location reinforces all of the negatively humorous stereotypes about this particular tentacle of the bureaucracy. I was (actually still standing in line as I write this) because my paid for PO Box key wasn't working. Also, the app with which I opened said box stated that one of the forms I had to turn in person to open hadn't been signed. That's right, the transaction had to be completed in person instead of the efficiency of online! This is an institution that severely needs to be upgraded to the 21st century. As it were, they hadn't even changed the lock in the PO Box..for a whole week and they won't have it replaced until Tuesday. Oh, and it looks like there's mold around one of the AC vents.
