The first time it was sent they put a letter in my po box 2 times saying they attempted to reach me. I went and talked to the dude at the front counter they said it was sent back, and "THEY DONT ACTUALLY KNOCK ON YOUR DOOR WHEN IT SAYS SIGNATURE REQUIRED." Lazy! I had a letter that required signature, they charge accordingly to deliver these type of letters. I was home all day. I have a ring camera, the letter was never delivered to my home, but I got a notice in my mailbox. Sorry we missed you! How could you miss me if you never tried to deliver it the way you suppose to? I had to use my lunchtime to go and pick up the letter that must be delivered at least once to my house. The drivers at this location have consistently declined to deliver any mail. Our business in Princeton is among those to whom they refuse to provide service. There exists no justifiable reason for their inability or unwillingness to deliver mail. We frequently miss several bills, and our packages are consistently undelivered. No other carrier encounters such issues when it comes to delivering packages or mail; this problem has been persistent solely with the United States Postal Service (USPS). Furthermore, they do not respond to phone calls and do not facilitate communication with management. If USPS is unwilling to comply with legal obligations and fulfill the services they are expected to provide, then their operation warrants reevaluation. Had problems with local utility bill payments arriving late and incurring late fees despite being mailed same day as bill received. Contacted Princeton Water and was told this happens frequently, suggested I either; use the Dropbox, put enough on account so I am paid ahead a month or two, or allow direct draft from my checking account. Called the Princetion electric service, pretty much got the same suggestion. I filed a comaint with the postal service and was contacted by local postmaster. I was told; 1) it's a problem at the plant and we are resolving it. 2) we ways get backed up around the holidays. (I first noticed in Sept) 3) they do not have capacity to contact consumer when mail is going to take 13+ days. Since this appears to be an ongoing issue the takeaway is, we aren't responsible to actually deliver mail in a timely fashion and any late charges are the consumers problem. Apparently 3 to 15 days for an in town delivery is acceptable. read more

I just moved into a new house and my home is in the border of Mckinney and Princeton. My packages got sent to this address because I didn't know offically I was supposed to use the Mckinney address instead of Princeton because it pops up both ways on maps. I may have been confused. I went looking for my packages because Amazon said they were at this location. They could not be delivered to my address. I was greeted by the rudest laziest people! They kept telling me that my mail should go to Mckinney and if my packages came again they would be sent back. I had not idea of this error with my address because I had just lived in my home less than a week. The realtor said my home I was renting was in Princeton and it is on the very border. I really counted on the post office to do their service and I trusted my items would be there. I ordered essential items for my home and I couldn't stop the deliveries from using the Princeton address. I don't think it is fair to be so rude and talk in a punitive manner. Went into the post office today and had 15-20 mostly small pre paid packages I needed scanned in so they would be shipped on time for my small business. During the scanning process one of the employees said that "we are going to have to start limiting the number of packages you bring in". I laughed like it was a joke and he said "no seriously". You work for a government agency. Do your job. I would like to see you try to limit the amount of packages I bring in. I usually do local pickup and sometimes they don't even come to grab my packages when I schedule them to. Don't be harassing customers because you don't want to work and scan in 15 packages. Right afterwards I dropped off some UPS packages at the authorized shipping outlet here in Princeton and told them what happened and they said they have had customers tell them the same thing and the post office here in Princeton even made people cry before. They have said they will limit the amount of packages you can bring, if it's 5 or more they will refuse to give you a receipt, etc. I have lost respect for someone I thought was pretty cool because of that. Two summers ago when they didn't have AC in the building I went to my car and grabbed an ice cold drink for the same guy that told me the rude remarks today. If I could give zero stars I would. The worst customer service time after time and it is one individual over and over again at the front counter. After receiving a notification of my package being delivered, I called to see if I could pick the item up as it was a graduation gift. The rep stated yes, it was scanned in as of 12:30pm if I could come 10-15 mins before closing to pick it up to ensure they've had enough time to sort the packages received. I sent my husband to get it, without even being greeted- he proceeded to tell this gentleman what he was there for. The worker said "nope". My husband asked him, "nope what"? The man rudely just said "nope I cant get it, to wait until its delivered. He stated he wouldn't go back to look for it even though this was already stated we would be able to pick the item up. My husband asked why both times we've had an issue with pick up from this office, is it him who gives no care or provides absolutely no help. they guy just gave a smirk and walked off. I will be going above him to a manger of some sort that will listen and take the steps needed to correct this bs. This man clearly needs another line of work where interaction with customers/ customer service is not a requirement of his job. If I could give this post office 0 stars, I would. Actually, there is one lady there that makes a world of difference and if they could clone her and make her the carrier, cashiers, and post master, it would make this post office great. She's pretty much the only reason I can justify one star. That said, while the people have never been rude to me directly, the delivery Service is TERRIBLE. I've lived a few places and have never had the issues I've experienced with this post office, anywhere else. On a consistent and weekly basis, We would get at least one piece of someone else's mail delivered to us incorrectly, (and i will mark wrong address. Forward. No longer lives here) and still get letters sent to us. IT HAS BEEN A YEAR!! Do they not check to see that the person is no longer there. On one occasion, I was tracking a package throughout the day on my phone expecting it to arrive. Then, late in the day a notification comes up that the "package is being held at the station per recipient request." I was worried about my package, and contacted the post office first thing in the morning, and told them I did not authorize a hold because I was not even home at the time. Turns out, the carrier lost it somewhere in the vehicle and instead of turning around to deliver it correctly to my home, she miscoded it that way and took it back to the post office. ON PURPOSE. The manager that spoke with me offered no apology and just said they couldn't take it back because of what time it was. But that it would be delivered that day. They have screwed up our mail forwarding when we moved. They screwed up the family's mail forwarding that lived in the home before us, too. My neighbors have the same issue after moving into their new home. Seriously. A hot mess. Princeton's a great little town. Sad the postal service is this bad. read more

We are always missing specific mail. I have two recurring examples one of them is paychecks that get send to us through the mail which come from our business. It is frustrating because we either receive a week late or it never shows at all and we have to order a new one. This is even with us getting photo statements same day of the mail going out for delivery. We depend on those checks due to us having employees, mortgages, car payments ect. Second example, we have a costco platinum membership which gives us cash back on our purchases every year. We have triple checked with costco and the usps in Princeton to make sure the address is correct but even then with photo statements of our mail we never receive it. We have had to order our rewards 3 times to this address and they have yet to show. We've done it a forth time but to a different one outside of princeton and wallah !!!! We received it !!!. My family and I are starting to think the Usps office in McKinney has something to do with it, whether its because they've mishandled mail or because they are opening them and taking items for them selves. That is my theory and what draws us to this suspicion is that the Usps in Princeton uses a third party delivery partner for our route. The man drives a black nissan titan. We have written complaints to corporate and nothing has been done about it. Do no come to princeton because your are most likely going to have missing mail. read more

This is the second package that they have lost. Priority with a tracking number. I moved from Honolulu and had about a thousand dollars in packages shipped. I received all but one. When I reported the guy said he didn't have time to look it up I should do at home. I did and it was received by them but not delivered. They also delivered a couple of the packages to neighbors and they were nice enough to bring them. Next door on both sides even across the street. I'm guessing someone else got it and kept it. Went back to check and he said there was nothing he could do. He gave me a number to call. No answer. Now I looked up tracking number again and there is no information. Sent two packages off last week. One was delivered on time the other is still waiting. I will be in there tomorrow morning. What's the purpose of insurance if you can't collect on it or get money back for it being over a week late. Good luck, postal workers don't care anymore. read more

Today he left all of my mail in another neighbors box and did not pick up any of my mail, from my box (yes, I had the flag up). Obviously they cannot seem to place packages in the correct LABELED post office boxes, then seem like it is an inconvenience that you came to speak with them regarding the mistake they made. My response I was given is "why would someone else keep you package?" I would give this place 0 stars if I could. They have TERRIBLE customer service. I've only ever been greeted by rude attitudes and mean ladies - always ladies. I've been to other post offices where the employees are very helpful and nice and willing to answer questions. This post office is not one of those. Any questions are greeted with a grimace and an attitude like you're a complete idiot for not knowing the answer yourself. I would move towns based solely on the quality of this post office if I were smart. Do not use this post office unless you absolutely have to - like if zombies are chasing you and it's the last shelter left standing. By far one of the most frustrating on going things I have had to deal with! I'll start off by saying I love Princeton but definitely not their mail service! I regularly ( at least once a week) get someone else's mail. I will circle the address and put it face up in my mail box with it circled wrong address and they will leave it in there and just stuff more mail. If a car is anywhere near the mail box ( not even blocked but close to it) they will not deliver mail. I have had packages that they say they attempted to deliver ( at 6:20 am) which they never did and that they left a slip... which I never got. It feels like anything they can do to not deliver mail... that's what happens. And I am not the only one, I have talked to multiple neighbors ( we have to trade mail often) and they have the same issues. It was finally after today waiting for a package that they falsely claimed to deliver and leave a slip because no one was there ( which I was home) that I finally got frustrated enough to write a review. Here is hoping that they care enough to make a difference and change their mail services to be more professional because being here about 2 years... this is a constant ongoing weekly issue.
