Came in to print off a few copies of my resume as my printer isn't currently cooperating. Guy working the counter (owner or manager?) has no customer service skill. I waited for 5 min (wasn't shipping anything obviously as my hands were empty) he didn't bother to ask what I needed (the customer he was helping was on the phone and he already told the counter guy that he wouldn't be shipping. I let him know I needed something printed and he pointed me to the computer when I asked if I could email it to him, I just printed it straight off there. Six pages of black and white words cost me $8! Long story short: customer service sucks, the place stinks pretty bad like old carpet and bad breath, and it's too expensive. read more

I've been driving further to make returns from online purchases but stopped by today with a few needs. Return UPS, return FedEx, purchase stamps and mail a package. At first, I wasn't able to return the UPS but after sweet Odetta asked me a few questions, she was able to find a solution which allowed her to be able to make the return and me not have to make a separate trip to the UPS store! Odetta was so nice and helpful! We just moved to the area so I've been looking for my new places and this will be my shipping services location! read more

OVERPRICED and DISHONEST!!! My husband ran inside with a Christmas gift to mail. When he came back outside and told me the price ($37 to ship a two pound box FedEx Ground), we changed our minds and decided to give the gift in person and save some money. He went back inside to ask for the box back and a refund. They gave us our box back, but wouldn't give us our money back. The kid at the counter said she didn't know how to process a refund. They made my husband call the owner and he refused to refund the money. We called the police and they told us to get an attorney. We are disputing the charge with our credit card company. We went to our bank to have a document notarized. Come to find out, they don't notarize this type of document. We made phone calls sitting in front of the bank, before finding this place. They DO notarize wills. Drove on over. Fast, friendly service at a reasonable cost. Very pleased! We will return for any future needs. read more

I have a mailbox at this Mr. Parcel location because my mail delivery person refuses to deliver mail regularly. [I live on a cul-de-sac and if anyone parks there I a note saying my mailbox wasn't accessible because there needs to be 1,000,000 feet of clearance on either side, blah blah blah.] It kills me because I'll get the note in the mailbox but not the mail. But anyways, enough back story. So yes, I have a box there and I go every few days to check it. The mailboxes have 24/7 secured access and the staff has been very friendly on the occasions I see them. They have a variety of other service too (printing, postage, notary, etc) which I'm sure I will use if needed. read more

By far the worst parcel service provider I've come across. Trust me when I say save yourself and just go directly to the shipping company of choice as the employees standard response for everything needed is "no, we don't do that here". After waiting 15 minutes, the lady tells me the label is no good and to use their computer to reprint in which I then got charged for. The recipient said they would pay for the box and shipping but yet I got charged for the box here as well. Had I just gone 1.2 miles away to the FedEx location, likely this wouldn't have happened. I recently got married and moved from Ca to Tx. In order to update benefits, identification, car registration, etc, I need certified copies of my marriage certificate. Since I got married in Ca, I needed to make a sworn statement and have it notarized. Mr Parcel was great. I was able to get the document notarized and still had time to scan the document and get my marriage certificate order by the end of the day. Everyone I dealt with were very friendly and very helpful. I was even welcomed to Texas and given a "Welcome to Texas" discount. I will be back for all of my notary and shipping needs. read more

I just love this place. Super nice guy working here and notary services too! He let my little boy build and leave his Lego bat cave (built w their Legos) for all to admire. Some places are very neutral and others are lousy with regard to the customer experience. This place is much more convenient than standing in line at the post office. However, it's more pricey so keep that in mind. I've been going here for years and my place of business uses them as well. For the most part, they can get you in and out quickly. I like that their system saves your information and past "ship to" addresses, so that saves time in itself. It can get a little busy around lunch time, and you may have to wait a bit, but they're always very apologetic if that happens and try their hardest to get you in and out quickly. I also like that they tell me my shipping options in detail so that I know what I'm paying for and how long to expect shipping for each option. Their website has been updated and is helpful. They list the daily pickup times for each carrier (FedEx, UPS, USPS, DHL, etc.) so that you can plan your drop off accordingly. read more

I had a 1.5 ounce letter that needed postage. After weighing the letter, they said it needed to be sent parcel post because of the thickness of letter and quoted $3.80. I asked for a qoute for sending a letter. Their response, it will require 3 stamps. I said no thanks and went the post office. They charged me .70. read more

I have been using Mr Parcel for all my shipping and postal needs for well over two years. They have great prices and with renting a mailbox, it is great to be able to call to find out if I have mail without burning gas. If you guys are planning to ship anything from these guys please stay away from this place. They overcharge! Went by on a Wednesday to ship a small package that was about three pounds and wanted it to be there on a Saturday. "I was told" it would be there on Saturday. Come Monday, I found out the package just got there and is out for delivery. I did not know there wasnt any ground shipping for UPS on Saturdays until I spoke with UPS. Another thing, I took the info Mr. Parcel placed on my receipt and placed it on the UPS website and turns out there was almost a $10 difference for two day shipping (delivered Friday) if i would've went with UPS oppose to Mr.Parcel. I brought up the overcharge up to Mr. Parcel and the person working there stated that they are retail and other places just have different prices..(you think?!) I have used these guys in the past a few times but this time around I paid more attention what these guys charge and made me wonder if I was overcharge the last few times I used them. This will be the last time I use these guys. You all are better off just going to the UPS store to get a better rate. The staff is nice but these guys overcharge. STAY AWAY! read more

Just a response to Gwendolyn H's review. I don't think she knows Michael very well. He bends over backwards to treat his employees with the utmost respect and generosity. I know for a fact that the 3 women working there have been there for 3 years each. If they were treated badly I know they would not stay. Also I thought yelp and google reviews were to rate the store's performance and not the impression a customer has towards the owner. Michael tries to make every customer have an enjoyable experience in the store when they visit and he works hard to make sure his employees are well trained so they too can treat customers with a high level of competency. Maybe Gwendolyn should visit Mr. Parcel again and talk with the employees to see how they feel about there boss. read more

Wow. Yah the guys all friendly when you go there. But he does not treat his staff very well. I was in the other day and this poor gal looked humiliated. I think she was new but still no reason to be what I would call abusive. My heart went out to her, I don't think I will go back there and if I did I really would have to say something. I had Mr Parcel ship a birthday gift for my mother with $500 insurance in SEPT 2013. The carrier demolished the gift - to the point that it wasn't even delivered. I have tried since that time to get the insurance claim following all their demands and as of JUN 2014 still no reimbursement. I will NEVER ship anything from this place again. From what the carrier stated - it is up to Mr Parcel to cut me the check and then they reimburse Mr Parcel. THAT is customer service.. what I have had to deal with is NOT. I have now been told that the carrier has closed the claim and there is nothing they can do.. BUT the carrier won't talk to me because the claim is between Mr Parcel and them. read more
