The girl named Pam at this location is wonderful!!! She is super sweet and helpful! I recently had a ton of packages that need to be delivered for my seasonal business and during this time of the year it's hard to find certain packaging such as medium regional boxes or padded envelopes and she was so helpful in pointing me in the right direction; giving me directions to different offices and names of people to ask when I got there. Went to get my passport this lady Bobbie was extremely rude I asked her a question and she gave me a document and told me to go outside and read it otherwise I won't talk to you. I read the document I tell her I'm done and she told me I had to wait until she is finished with her other appointments. 1 hour later she calls me in then complains about my handwriting and told me I will be responsible if it gets rejected then I write her a check and she told me to rewrite it. She talks so fast with her poor English I overheard her complaining about everyone she had an appointment with this one lady asked her what she should put in one of the questions and she told her take it home and find someone to help you full it out. Never met anyone this rude. She's a government employee so she couldn't get fired if she tried she expects you to know everything about passport filing and gets irritated when you dont instead of being helpful and at the end she acted like she did you a favor. My business received a renewal notification for our Business Reply Mail account. I have called the contact number on the notice several times over the past few days to reach the person in charge of this program. The phone is NEVER ANSWERED. The automated system for "customer service" is simply a robot who talks in circles and is of no use. I could never run my business with so little regard for my customers. Sadly, it is the closest location to my home, so I don't have much of a choice. The employees working the front desk simply don't care and know they can't be fired. When did they become the mail Nazis???  Jeeez, we have prepaid labels and all we want is to have our packages scanned in for proof of mailing but we get nothing but a hard time when we go in there lately.  The clerks don't want to scan our packages so they tell us to use the self serve.  Fine, but there are so many people who use the self serve that don't know what they are doing that it sometimes takes longer waiting on them than waiting on the clerks!   Post Office clerks: just do your job and quit your griping and telling your customers to use self serve!   You all are all a bunch of micro managers and just need to do.your.job! p.s. the manager is polite and nice btw. read more

One star to the lady who processes the passport. She came in late, walked in with tons of attitude and shouted at me for bringing my puppy in the waiting area, while the girl who let me in earlier said no issues with that. When I left the waiting and was looking for an exit way, she came running after me and shouted again for being in a restricted area ( I was trying to figure out to exit). She asked my husband to have me leave my puppy in the car so I can be there at the same time. What was there, that we could have not done switching with the puppy. She showed her attitude all the time we were there. Such a poor customer service, bad attitude, She should better stay home and let other nicer people do the service. read more

The passport lady needs to be reviewed by her supervisor, and seriously consider termination. What a hateful human being. My wife was carrying our 7 month old while holding our 3 year old's hand. We were walking in a 4 foot square vicinity within the yellow lines inside the waiting area so the baby can sleep, and the lady required us to sit down in a VERY rude manner. We did so as to not cause more friction. Once we got to the front of the line she reviewed and decided our photo was not acceptable because my wife had her hair up, which is totally ok as we can retake it. However, she then decided to open all other files, pulled apart the document staples on every document, and threw them on the table in an aggressive way telling us it's all wrong. She then questioned us if we looked at the requirements, which we did and said the docs are prepared using the directions provided by USPS website. She replied: "every USPS has different requirements, and I say no!". I'm sorry, but is this a joke?! She basically said what she says goes, and the USPS site is incorrect. Completely voided the government website requirements. Is this the type of employee USPS would want representing them? read more

Tried calling numerous times - the automated system does not offer an option for my issue. I need them to either paint or replace the old, rusted out mailbox in my yard- for seven of my neighbors. I'm here with my daughter renewing her passport. This lady named Bobbie helped us. Bobbie said it will cost $130.00 for the dept of state and another amount of $50.00 for USPS. When I asked her why it was so much, she said to me she is only going to talk to my daughter who is 18 years old. I said I'm the one who is writing this check and paying for it and how dare you speak to me like this. I ask for the supervisor apparently she is the supervisor. Bobbie was really rude and should not be helping customers. No one should ever feel that they can be rude and we should just be ok with it. My husband's passport is expiring in May and we plan to travel abroad later this year and since I just changed my name at the DMV, I wanted everything to match to make it as convenient as possible for myself and didn't mind paying the fees to do so. I looked online and saw that the closest USPS to our home allows appointments! I was ecstatic to see that, as I recall 5 years ago to when I had gone to a different USPS location and sat there surrounded for 2.5 hours before my number was called wishing I could make an appointment for my passport. Anyway, so we go online, schedule our 9am Saturday appointment (2-23-19) and I receive my confirmation e-mail stating for both of us to arrive 10 mins early. It was super easy to do and even asked how many adults or children I wanted to schedule. Turns out this USPS OPENS at 9am, so we sat there in our car waiting - no big deal. At 9am the door still isn't open, so we finally decide to ring the door bell and this lady opens the door and has us enter her office area. She looks at us and asks "Which one of you needs a passport?" I tell her "Both of us" and she mutters something about how she can only do one at a time blah blah blah. She looks at our paperwork, asks us a question, and says we filled out the incorrect paperwork. When I go on the Government website and it has you fill out questions so you KNOW which form to complete, it states we both need the DS-11. I click on DS-11 and when I was finally done, it saves it and it says it's the DS-82 (or whatever number) In my head, I think, the Government probably has their reasoning for this, so I print out our 12 page form and drop it on this lady's table. She starts speaking (mumbling) at the speed of light about how this USPS is by appointment only and if she allows us to fill the form out now, it's only going to take up everyone else's time. By now, it's 9:15, and we haven't even sat down. We explained to her that this is literally what your company's website is telling me to fill out and that we can quickly fill out the info. She hands us these forms, says something about how we should come back later because I only brought ONE check for the both of us. Not a single place online states that we needed to bring two separate checks to pay and I'm just so confused at why we haven't started the process. She immediately picks up the phone and starts calling someone. We complete our application and she comes back in the room and starts SCREAMING at us and my husband tells her to get her act together and asks if she's finally going to help us out. She starts yelling some more and says "That's it, I'm calling my supervisor!" I tell her yes, please do because I would LOVE to speak to her supervisor! Because now it's 9:20am, the whole passport process STILL hasn't been completed and she's already yelled and screamed at us for absolutely NO reason. Her supervisor comes in and Bobby starts whining to her superior and Becky (supervisor) tells her to stop. She asked my husband what happened, and when he starts speaking, Bobby starts speaking over him and yet again, she gets asked to hush. I explain to Bobby that we live so close by, by the time she's done with my husband's application process, I would already be back so she can start mine. She starts yapping up some excuse about why that's not possible. I decide to leave, go get another check and come back and within 10 mins, my husband and I are told that Bobby needs to take the next person. We get seated in another room with a very kind and competent Asian woman (Never got her name) but she explained the whole process to us, checked all our info to ensure the accuracy and explains that it'll be much cheaper and easier to just mail it in. I told her I didn't want to do that BECAUSE I had a feeling the form I originally filled out online was incorrect, and that's the whole reason I went to see a PROFESSIONAL - but unfortunately, we were berated, talked down to, and ultimately did not receive help just as the other Yelp reviewers stated. Dear Bobby, I hope you go to sleep at night and consider getting a new job because you are one of THE WORST people I've EVER met in my entire life. Please make your supervisor's job easier and hand in your resignation letter. I bet Becky hasn't fired you yet because she just doesn't want to deal with you because she probably gets at least 20 phone calls a day from you complaining about every little thing that happens. This totally explains why this place has only 1.5 stars on Google. When I saw that, in my head I was thinking: 'Oh come on, this place can't be THAT bad." ... and Bobby totally fulfilled any questions I had. read more

Came here for a passport renewal and I honestly wish I would of just went somewhere else. The guy in the beginning was completely condescending to the gentleman before me. The way he was explaining their process to him was disrespectful. He then looks at me after he helped the gentleman and said what do you need? And I said I'm here for a passport I have an appointment. I asked if I could just leave real quick to grab a money order and he said NO! real aggressively and told me to go sit in the chairs and wait to be helped. I did. I wait for about 10 minutes, I don't mind waiting but when I was called in. I got the pleasure of dealing with Bobby. Just her demeanor from the beginning was rude. She talked down to me the minute I got into the room. If you don't like your job , quit. Stop treating people like they are nothing. Every time I asked a question she responded like i was stupid. "If you read the paper it'll tell you where everything goes" like what the hell ?? I can't ask just to be sure? It's not like I do this for a living. Bobby if you're reading this, learn how to talk to people. Treat people how you would like to be treated. I can't believe I even have to tell someone older than me that. We were taught that as kids. And people wonder why this world is so messed up. It's people like Bobby and whoever that guy was in the front. Don't come here, drive to lake forest instead of anywhere else. One lady before me came in screaming that her children's passports were rejected and I should have just left at that point but I went through with my own children's appointment, paid my fees and two weeks later I got two rejection letters in the mail that my children's passports were rejected. The lady really has no idea what she is doing. Please , please do not use this USPS for your passport needs. No courtesy here , and she will be texting throughout your appointment missing required forms and paperwork that need completing to get a passport. read more

Nearly every time I visit this post office, I encounter unfriendly, unhelpful, rude workers, namely Bobby and Ivan. Wow, do they both have chips of their shoulders. They have both been so rude to me on multiple occasions. I specifically avoid this post office because of them, but sometimes time constraints bring on a visit. I ALWAYS regret going due to the convenience of its location. I was yelled at by Bobby (who wasn't even helping me in line...Ivan was) for NO reason. It was absolutely BIZARRE. Then I observed her be rude to several other customers while I was there whenever they would ask a question, which is what I did and NOT directed towards her! My most recent negative experience was this week. I went in with over 60 small packages. I was told I could only process 10 packages at a time, stand aside while 3-4 other customers were serviced, then come back for another 10, etc. I have never heard or seen such a thing. But the worst part was when I asked to pay with credit card info from my non-profit organization for music students from all of CA. That is when the bitter Bobby intruded on my question Ivan and yelled at me LOUDLY in front of everyone there. It was extremely rude and condescending...and absolutely BIZARRE. I get yelled at for asking a question about payment, and I wasn't even addressing her? She needs to be let go if she hates customers so much. Her personality is utterly VILE. read more

I mailed a Priority Box, USPS's own box, paid for TWO DAY delivery . The box was not delivered for 7 days, arrived completely trashed and ripped apart with most of the contents missing. The box looked like it had been run over with a truck and left out in the rain. It was half assed taped back together by the usps and a note stuffed inside saying they were "SORRY"!!!! For such a great neighborhood this is by far the most unprofessional and unhelpful location I've ever dealt with. Passport service by Bobbie was pathetic. We had made the appointment, were on time with a smile, and had all the paperwork ready to go. When we asked a simple question about delivery confirmation, she got rude and aggressive. When I asked her, "why do you offer such poor customer service", she said unapologetically, "we are government agents!!!" Never have we come across such poor service. I would give ZERO stars if I could. I live in RSM. I have been to this post office a few times, and have dealt with the same lady on 2 occasions. Both times she was rude, crude and extremely unprofessional. I didn't get her name, but she is a short, overweight Hispanic girl. My story is I went in to send back a package from ebay...she said "You need to go get your package ready" Ok I said, no worries,...but needed a piece of tape maybe 5 inches long...turning her back and pointing she said "if you want tape you can buy some from over there" I thought...a post office with no tape??? Anyway I said cant I just use a little piece and she blurted out with such rudeness "Maam I don't have any tape..." Its not really what she said, but in the manner she said it. Thinking back on when I was sending a care package for my son who was DEPLOYED...she made me undo the whole box and rewrap it for a extremely slight hump...which ive sent many over the years in the same manner. I will not stop here...she doesn't deserve to work with the public if she doesn't know how to treat people. To be honest she is a bitch....I cant be the only one if the times I dealt with her were 2 years apart. This is my very first yelp ever in my life...AND YOU GUYS GOT IT...CONGRATULATIONS!!!
