I called and spoke with Victoria and Alex and discussed shipping my TV back to Pennsylvania. They grabbed Jake (manager) and he let me know that they would be able to help me out! Jake was awesome! He helped me to package and ship my Apple PC, 45 inch TV, and car parts! He went above and beyond to ensure that everything would arrive safely! Overall the value for everything was great! As others have stated in the reviews, the location essentially doubles up on the rates you could get at a nearby FedEx or UPS store. I shipped a package with them and they doubled up on basically everything...the base rate, the adult signature rate and the insured value rate. When I came in there to ask them about it I was told that the rates I see online wouldn't in fact be the rates that I would get as I would need to have an account on FedEx. So I took them up on that and went online and got all the way to the payment area and I'm able to print a label right now for half the price I paid. The funny part is that the drop off location that the FedEx estimate shows is the coastal postal location. So that means I could have printed this at home and driven down there and still shipped it from their location at half the price. So if that's the case then what benefit do they provide aside from helping me fill out the FedEx form fields? Is that worth double the price? I'm all for supporting small businesses and I realize that everyone needs to make money but at what point is it just unfair? I wish there was just a little bit more transparency or at least some added convenience of they're going to markup the rates because I was also charged $6 to repackage my box as I was told it wasn't good enough as is if I was also declaring a value for insurance. read more

NOT COVID SAFE! I needed to get a Live Scan done and am a high-risk person, so I called the store ahead of time to see if they were following the executive order issued by the California government that all businesses MUST wear masks. When I asked the person I spoke with if they were wearing masks, she said that she does, but that the owner doesn't and he doesn't make other employees wear masks (as if the owner is allowed to make this decision). This business is clearly not following the executive order and COVID recommendations and I will NOT do business with them, now or in the future! read more

Best shipping/notary/whatelseyaneed store in all of Orange County. I had to make a number of trips here to work out some paperwork that required notarizing. Needless to say the company requiring the paperwork threw me multiple curveballs and we had to return to have the paperwork redone. They were so good to us and helped us through the process and even did it on the house (which was amazing and a total shock). The biggest rip-off you will ever find. He harges 3x the amount of the normal UPS Store he claims to be affiliated with. He is not connected to Ups systems and cannot access your information or your customer list like all LEGITIMATE UPS stores do. What is normally a $10 charge to send a letter second day ground thru UPS, he charged me $37! 300% markup and doesn't tell you he is not part of the franchise until you notice how expensive it is to mail something through him and by that time it's usually too late to make it to a legitimate store His PO boxes are $400 a month! Yes, $400. Just an FYI before you line this con mans pockets or he lies trying to obtain your business. He is really a bad guy a total con man and a big liar. I went to have something notarized today and the woman behind the counter wasn't wearing a mask. First time I ever write a review. Sent a package on the 30th of March and was told I'd be expecting it to be delivered within the week. It's now 2 weeks later and I've just got told by the FedEx representatives that my package is lost. I wouldn't be upset if it was something small and inexpensive but to pay $100+ for shipping cost and still have it lost due to them (the store) not printing a readable label, is unacceptable. read more

It cost me $18 to print 4 single page prepaid shipping labels and 3 plain plastic bag mailers. That is insane. At my other mailing store, this would cost me $5 max. Customer service was fantastic- this is the only reason for 2 stars. Price alone deserves a 1 star rating. read more

By reading the reviews, it's clear the owner has many complaints against her about being rude and unprofessional. I experienced that today, in a big way. So, when you see her replies to comments that say: "customer service is important or please call and discuss", thats a flat-out load of dung. They gave me a FedEx quote of $324 to ship an overnight letter arriving Saturday morning, in New York. FedEx is responsible for the letter not arriving until Monday. FedEx also said it was not due to bad weather, airports, or accidents, just a logistical error. I called my credit card company so they could process the refund. I have been out of town for over a week, but today I stopped by coastal postal, purely as a common courtesy to advise them that I had requested a refund through the credit card company. The owner totally lost her cool and was rude to me and my wife. Its shocking anyone can treat customers this way and still be in business. Many people have made comments about her. After looking at the other comments, I checked FedEx and their rate for that same delivery it was $145 and coastal postal charged me $324. That is not just gouging, it's taking advantage of people. If FedEx had delivered as promised, I would never have found out that I had been cheated, but at least I would not have been exposed to this woman's vile & saddening behavior. There is another local company that offers the same services on Pico and La Plata, right next to Starbucks. read more

This review is really about service. I went in to fax two pages. I tried to pay with my credit card and the lady refused. Said it wasn't worth it since she was charged 1.70 on a 3.50 transaction. I said fine, charge me the 1.70 I need this faxed. She looked at me like she was doing long division in her head. Then said no, she's trying to keep costs down. How does that make sense? My wife scrounged up 3.50 from her purse and I got my fax. With so many options today, service is really the only thing anyone can standout with. I'll be at the UPS store from now on. read more
