The staff is fully trained in all of it and very professional and friendly. On busy days, parking lot can get busy but that's just the shopping center it is in,. Came in to ship a package today around 11:20am, The employee, self described as RAITT, F. noticed…read moremy T-shirt and immediately made a sarcastic political comment: "What tribe are you from?" (note, I've never been profiled as an American Indian in my life) When I answered that I'm American, he kept pushing the topic. I had to tell him to please leave his politics out of the workplace and just do the transaction. I've been coming to this UPS Store for years and have never had an employee insert their personal political views (especially in a snarky way) while I'm trying to pay for a service. It was uncomfortable and completely unnecessary. Everyone's entitled to their opinion, but customers shouldn't be subjected to sarcastic and snarky politically motivated jabs over a T-shirt. The actual shipping part was fine and fast, but the attitude spoiled the visit. I'll probably drive to the next location unless I hear this kind of thing doesn't happen again. Changed rating from 2 stars to 1 as owner ignored my concerns but responded to a positive review 3 days ago.

Yesterday I encountered the WORST customer service experience at A1 Mail in Mission Viejo. On…read moreWednesday I need to ship a very important item to my son who has moved out of state. I went to A1 mail to see what the best/quickest options were to get it to him by the weekend. A nice woman helped me and showed me all the options and we agreed on a FedEx option that would arrive on Friday. Late yesterday (Friday) I pulled up the tracking information expecting to see item delivered or out for delivery but the tracking showed the item had not moved from Mission Viejo and was showing "shipment information sent to Fedex" and "we''ll add a delivery date as soon as we get your package". I immediately called A1 mail to see what happened. I explained what happened and the young man who answered the phone abruptly said "yes, it shipped" without even asking for any information from me. I asked him how he knew since he hadn't asked for a tracking number, my name or any details. He then told me that "Fedex picks everything up every day" and that it was gone. I asked him to at least take my tracking info and look up the item which he did (hesitantly). After seeing what I was seeing that the package had not moved, he explained that Fedex takes "2-3 days" to update their website. I explained to him that I was "stressed out" because this was a bank card and my son needed it for his rent this weekend. He asked if the card had been activated and when I said it had not in a very snarky/sarcastic tone he said "if it hasn't been activitated then why are you stressed out". Not liking his attitude, I asked to speak with the woman who helped me or a manager. He said describe the woman who helped you. I gave him some specifics and he said we have two women who work here that look like that. I could hear another worker in the background and I again asked to speak with her or a manager and he told me he was a manager and had been there longer than anyone. Since I could see he wasn't going to help me any further I decided to drive over to see if I could speak to someone who wanted to help me figure out what happened. When I got to the store I asked the man if I could speak to the woman (her name waqs Diana) who had helped me ship the item. She came out and we pulled up the tracking info which CLEARLY showed the item had not shipped. They both tried to convince me that Fedex had not updated their system. I have experience with Fedex and I could CLEARLY see that the item had never moved from A1 Mail. They were of absolutelty no help at all, so I went out to my car and did a customer service chat with Fedex customer support. They told me unequivacably that Fedex never received my item. I went back into A1 and showed them the reponse from Fedex. They still argued with me that the item had shipped and that Fedex just had not updated their system. They said their Fedex driver would be there in a half hour and they would discuss with him and call me back. I went home and called this time called Fedex and spoke with a representative and they too told me the item was never received and there was no way their system just wasn't showing an update. I received a call back from Diana shortly before they were closing for the evening and she said their "regular" Fedex driver did not come. Diana said I could call his supervisor on Monday and see if I could get an answer as to what happened. I told her I had just gotten off the phone with Fedex and they confirmed the item had never been picked up. Her response was "and you beleive them over us". I told her this whole situation was unacceptable and that I wanted a refund for my shipping fees ($22). She said she couldn't do that and I will have to come back in on Monday when the owner is there. This was a total inconvenience for my son who doesn't have his bank card. The two people who work at A1 seemed to be blaming me for everything and not wanting 1) do their job, 2) assist with a problem for the service I paid for and 3) were completely rude and unapologetic about the fact that they lost my item. I have used A1 mail for over a decade but after this experience I will never use them again and will definitely be sharing what happened to me with anyone who asks for a recommendation for a local mailing establishment.

It has two to three self serve post machines that can get busy during busy times but for the part they are usually available for the mailing of packages or buying machine generated stamps . Neg : Ugh the wait at this post office is ALWAYS - a wait . You can almost never just walk in and get up to the window and get help and walk out . Today I went in to mail one small package out and the lady at the window ( this after standing in the 20 min line at 2:45 pm on a Monday she told me I had to use a label on my package so I had to go and re-write the address info and put it on a label ( so I found a sticker ( my bad the priority sticker I tore off priority ) and it showed FROM : TO: So I completed the label info with Just the white label and my address info get back in line and go to pay ( keep in mind I am returning an envelope for my elderly mother that had left info telling me it was a prior authorization Return that would cost no more then $7. 95 so when she rang it up and it came up to $25.95 I said what that's more then her product she is returning, the lady said yes you have it going PROIRTY MAIL !! I said no I dont , show me where I show that , she said well you used a priory label even if the label is just the white part I am Charging you the Priority Price - if you don't want that you have to get back out of line and go BUY A PLAIN LABEL FOR .99 cents ? I said really I get to get out of line for the third time and now go write this AGAIN ? I have been here now 45 mins , so there I went and bought the .99 cent label all to return a freaking package and get back in line the third time . Now after 50 mins I paid $7.95 plus .99 cents for two plain FROM AND TO LABELS . I hope she had a lovely day, she could have been much nicer and typed the address on the label like they used to do . NEXT TIME - I will use the SELF SERVE MACHINE like I do at the markets - I can avoid the rudeness of her . Sad very sad human contact is becoming EXTINCT..

Tactful…read moreand knowledgeable, and we love to see her face when we come in! we ship out of this location regularly and sometimes just need simple postage, stamps of just tracking, the staff in general are always happy to assist as well. We use our own stamps and shipping label sometimes, so if there are any discrepancies, they're always mindful to point it out to us and help us fix it! It's nice seeing the same faces after many years. They work effectively here, I think the complaints about the line and waiting are for people who don't manage their expectations. I mean..they're sending your letter from here to wherever in like 3 days for $0.78 cents.. be grateful lol
