This is my second time returning to this particular post office after giving it a subpar review regarding the customer service at the counter. On this particular occasion, the lines were beyond horrendous! It was as if it were days away from Christmas! They were two equally long lines. One to pick up mail and the other to send out. I must say this location must be poorly led as there was not enough organization to handle the situation. It took 17 minutes to finally get to the counter. But I will say that after my encounter with Mr. Donald, it really made every minute worth waiting. His customer service was extraordinary as he was exemplary and had a million smile that surely changed the atmosphere for me. He was extremely professional in making sure I was completely satisfied before sending me on my way. It's employees like this that's really give USPS the distinction that it deserves. I'm extremely frustrated with the service at this post office. On two separate occasions, my certified mail was returned to me without any explanation. On another occasion, a letter I sent that included a badge was returned completely damaged--the badge inside was broken. What's even more disappointing is that all three times, staff were unable to give me any clear answer as to why these items were returned in the first place. To make matters worse, there was also a situation where an envelope they had in their possession took weeks to be returned to me, with no communication or accountability during that time. On top of these ongoing issues, the lines are consistently long, and the wait times are unreasonable. It feels like there is a lack of organization and customer service overall. I expect better handling of mail--especially certified items--and clearer communication when problems arise. Unfortunately, this location has been consistently unreliable. read more

Your mail delivery driver suffers from being an extreme asshole, little dick syndrome! There's absolutely no need to be hostile and not drop off mail, that he had in his hand simply because we couldn't back up fast enough for him to open the mailbox. He chose to skip our mailbox and proceeded to speed off and deliver to the next address. He may need to attend anger management class and take a few days off and reflect upon his actions. The worst USPS I've been to. Long lines and the associate Victoria was rude.She did not greet me upon walking up to her desk. She was very dismissive and did not want to hear my concerns. Worst service I've ever experienced!!!after 2 months of trying to get a new mailbox key still no success. I went down there and was advised to fill out an inquiry form to have the mailman contact me. Of course the mailman never called me. After ultimately putting in a complaint online upper management called me and told me I can come down and make the payment and the keys will be ready for pick up the next day. It's been my third time here at this post office in two weeks. The post office is unassuming and stands on its own, it's large space with ample parking. It's hot here in the summertime and unfortunately the architect forgot to add trees for shade. Fairly new location, lots of post office boxes and many services they provide. One service is getting your passport. Due to a covid19 regulations, they have done a good job indicating where to stand 6ft. And each window has a transparent glass. The post office professionals are friendly and asks questions and depending who you may get can be helpful. I came upon a women this morning and she was short tempered, Something was off about her and I forgot to ask her how she was doing. Regardless what's going on in people's personal life, don't take it to the work place because people can be impacted. read more

So y'all know the post office is always getting bad reviews. I usually don't come to the big office I usually use the little office off of Alessandro, but because I was meeting someone there we decided to use the main post office. Well let me tell you, Drake was a lot of help. He really helped me and my friend get our package out. He even took the time to explain why a signature for delivery wasn't maybe the best idea. He was fast and efficient. I must say I was impressed with everyone working today. The line moved really fast, and everyone seemed really helpful. I must say also that people waiting in line were pretty pleasant. There was actually no one grumbling about the speed or the service. So to all the nay sayers its not alway bad at the Post Office. They are so inefficient. I put in a request to have my mail held. Came in days later just to give them a chance to make sure it was being held and I go in and they say the mail carrier took my mail out. Then the guy proceeds to tell me to leave a post it note on my mailbox which is shared, with my name and number and maybe the carrier would call me. Get real. I asked to speak to a supervisor and she came out all of 4 foot 9 and with a major attitude. I mean, if I didn't need something done, I would have checked her and told her that she should be that stern with her staff, not patrons that put in the request as asked. The best thing about the MoVal Post Office is that they have an APC - Automated Postal Machine. When the lines are long, like usual, you can use the APC. The clerks are usually friendly and helpful. MoVal in itself is just over crowded and so is this Post Office. I've noticed that they have tried to alleviate wait times by creating separate lines depending upon the service you need. If you're thinks by about stopping at this Post Office, don't, unless it's a quick drop off of an item with pre-paid postage OR you want to use the APC. If you live in MoVal and you can't avoid this PO...you're out of luck. read more

Literally CLOSED my P.O. Box due to such bad service from this post office! Way too many pieces of mail that were scanned through informed delivery, never made it to my P.O. Box. I'm talking social security cards... checks.. etc. they blamed it on the incompetent temporary clerks they had just recently hired. That is absolutely no excuse. Put someone on the job that actually want to work! A lot of people depend on their mail. This is the first time that I have ever been without a P.O. Box since moving from Los Angeles. I just had to add to the slew of 1 star reviews on this place. It's not just the slow, rude, uncaring employees who work here. It's not just that mail is stolen DAILY from the large postbox outside the post office because of a lack of security It's not just the TWO hour line I've had to stand in to pick up my mail EVEN THOUGH the other lines for money transactions have ZERO people in line. It's not even the lack of responsibility these employees take with packages or the care of their customers. The main problem is this post office doesn't give a shit because they don't have to. This is a government building with government/union employees and they will never go out of business because there are no competitors. Only the USPS can deliver my everyday mail. And, because our mailbox along with many others in Moreno Valley have been vandalized/broken into, we are stuck picking up our mail from their separate, 1-2 hour line, with absolutely no option to take our business anywhere else. Any other company/business/store would have been long gone due to lost customers by now. I waited an hour and a half to pick up one letter that was sent certified mail. I barely moved in the line. I went to the other side where there were NO customers and three employees twiddling their thumbs behind the counter. I asked the person who looked like the manager if we could get some help with picking up mail and she said, "no. you need wait in that line." When I pointed out how long we've been waiting and that there were no people in these lines and employees were just standing around, her response was, "this is how we do it now." Thank your lucky stars that you can't be shut down. Best we can do is call/write to the Post Master General with all of our complaints. I like the old staff.... This staff is crazy. I paid my po box before it was due and my box key is changed and i can not access my mail. Also they tried to say it wasnt paid in time and it was the check was sitting in my po box instead of taken as a payment. I hate coming here now and i only do so ever other month.
