wish I could give this place a negative rating cause honestly 1 is too good. This is the absolute WORST post office in the history of post office. It's dirty, the front workers have horrible customer service. they're rude and your carriers seem to misdeliever packages a lot. They have back room conversations LOUDLY while there is abt 7 people in line just waiting. ringing the bell does nothing at all. CLOSE IT DOWN IMMEDIATELY or GET PEOPLE THAT ACTUALLY WANTS TO WORK. Worst postal service I've ever dealt with. I've gone weeks without a single piece of mail being delivered. I've had some items take months before they actually arrived. I consistently see items photographed in informed delivery but the items never appear in my mailbox. I called the office and got no assistance. I was basically called a liar and given the run around. My 86 yr old mother went to return a package. She needed help as to what was needed to be done. The lady at the counter offered no help telling my mother there is no return address which was clearly marked on left corner of box! I went today and ask to speak to post master as was told they don't have one but had a supervisor. I ask to speak to her and waited but she never arrived to speak to me after I waited. Wow. After picking up a package here so understand the overall low rating. I walked in and the place smelled like weed. considering it's a government facility you would expect it to be classier. There was only one person in front of me and I don't believe the smell came from him, it lingered way after he left. I gave the woman my address for my package and she couldn't find it. I showed her the picture of the note left by USPS pertaining to my package with the date it was dropped off, as she said she needed the date. She said "a photo of the back ain't no good for me". She asked for my tracking which took just a couple minutes for me to find in email, as it was not originally sent by USPS by by a tried party app. She told me to "move aside". (No please or general hospitality at all). She then yelled "CAN I HELPPP YOU??" To the man behind me. I found the tracking maybe a minute after she told me to move aside. I and the man were the only customers. It was not busy. The only other employee was pacing behind the desk on her phone then proceeded to the back. The woman was rude, short with her words and very curt. I gave her the tracking. The issue? She had my address wrong. She was rude because she did not write my address down before looking in the back and mixed the numbers up. Maybe she was the one with the weed smell. read more

Do not come here if you need to send a package at the desk. You will wait much longer than you anticipate. The workers do not have any reason to maintain a professional pace. They are oblivious or just don't care to service anyone when there is a long line. We all wait at post offices, as expected, but this.... Very unprofessional. Worst P.O. ever. And I mean ever. Not only did I have to wait 30mins for a certified letter that couldn't find, when the did "find" it, it was for my neighbor not me! If I could give 0 stars I would. My family and I were having our holiday photos taken. Everyone had their outfits except for my son. We had a package with his items in it and they said it was delivered. It was not! We have the Ring camera and they exact time they said it was delivered we see the postal lady walking to our home. She did not have a package in her hands. She only had mail. She lied and said the package was delivered. Luckily, Gap refunded our money but they were sold out of the items we ordered. Have to change the entire concept for our photoshoot. Trying to get in contact with a human through usps has been a nightmare. Terrible service. Sometimes I get my mail, but oftentimes I get other people's mail, which can be nice. I recently got an issue of Good Housekeeping for somebody with the same house numbers on another street. Otherwise, I just through the junk mail away. I recently have had two packages go missing from this post office (the USPS website would only let me submit a missing mail request for one out of the two; I'm on hold with customer service right now). Last time I called, the agent said even he couldn't tell what had happened to them; they fell off the face of the earth. This branch was supposed to call me back with details of my case, but I haven't received a call. I suspect that they don't really know how to use their equipment or software, so communications from USPS headquarters probably goes unnoticed. It's probably very underfunded, especially given the history of corruption in the midwest. Redelivery requests almost always go unanswered. I guess eventually I'm going to have to track the sellers down and get a refund for the ~$50 I spent, which is no big deal. Overall, I think this branch's employees are probably overworked, like a lot of mail carriers. If you live in 63118, I would highly recommend you have your mail held in a PO box, or maybe delivered somewhere else. I have most of my packages delivered to my workplace in Grand Center or to my father in Tamm/Clayton, and that works just fine. Don't rely on them for bills, either; you should be going paperless with things like that, anyway. read more

Worst post office I have ever used in my entire life. I have repeatedly waited on hold for over 30 mins with no explanation. My mail service was stopped for nothing more than an argument with the mail lady. Only to be forced to get a po box and now my mail is constantly missing!! The people who work here are rude and petty. This is the most unprofessional place I have ever been to, employees constantly on their bluetooths and paying more attention to their personal life than their job. read more

I've used this branch a couple of times since moving to Dutchtown. It's on a nice road with good parking. Inside is clean. Postal employees are friendly and know their job. They also suggested other options that save me money. read more

There are some delusional reviewers on here. I've been using this post office for 6 years (not bt choice) and have only had sub par or poor experiences. I will say that they do a great job of taking convenience out of mail delivery. It's a 50/50 toss up whether or not they actually attempt to deliver a package. Several times I have been sitting by my entry and received a notification that a delivery was attempted; no mail carrier seen all day. Unfortunately Amazon will continue to use usps when UPS is not an option so I will have to deal with more of their unprofessionalism. read more

Absolutely horrendous customer service. One of the delivery drivers at this location is potentially stealing packages. 2 weeks after one of my packed was "misplaced", I had yet another issue of my package not arriving when it was supposed to. The first time I called up there, a man answered. After explaining my situation, he asked for my address the. Walked away. After waiting for 13 minutes, I hung up and the line was busy for the next 15 minutes. Attempt #2: I call and a lady answers. I explain my situation(again) she asks for a tracking number and before I can give it to her, she asks me to hold on for one second. Nine minutes later I hang up. Attempt #3: I call and the first man answers again. I tell him I am attempting to locate a package that was supposed to be delivered yesterday. *click* he hangs up on me. The first packed they lost, I ended up getting a refund from Amazon. I fear that's exactly what's going to happen this time as well. read more
