I have not received mail for several days, and when I did receive it, it was thrown on the front porch and not put in the mail slot!!!!!!!!

Worse Post Office. Doesn't answer their phone. Do not seem to know the rules. I go days, sometimes, without any mail, causing me to get a late charge on one of my bills. I am 10 points away from having a perfect credit score, so I am not happy with the delay or the absence of my mail. read more

***this place closes unexpectedly*** I just walked a mile in the 95° heat to the attendant locking the door in my face saying they are closing for "a hour lunch" I asked her if I could just hand her a package because it was all ready to go, just needed to be thrown in the bin. She refused and shut the door in my face. I understand if you need to close for lunch. However, this is the United States Postal Service. You need to either alert the public in advance of a branch closure or have alternate ways to drop off packages. Completely unacceptable and a failure to public service. read more

It's almost closing time (read: 1:30pm on a Saturday), and I walk up with a package, having just sealed it. There's no one else waiting, but she's apparently been sitting there watching me, not saying anything. "Can I HELP you?" "Yeah, I just need to mail this." I came to this post office location today and wow what an absolute nightmare. To begin, they were slow as could be, chatting with each other and not helping customers choosing instead to gossip about what they did over the weekend. After almost 30 minutes of waiting and finally getting to the front of the line the woman at the counter was beyond rude, continued to interrupt me repeating "no, no, no" every time I attempted to ask a question and then refused to ship my package and wouldn't give me a reason on why. I then went to my normal USPS location and had no issues and they sent my package without even a question. I now know it's worth the extra 4 minutes to go to another location. The workers here are untrained, disrespectful, and are horrible to try to work with read more

Don't go by the hours on website because I did and they closed up but clearly could see we were outside needing service I guess you just have to drive by it to see if the doors unlocked because Monday the 8th they were closed before 5pm! read more

I LOVE this post office. Lucky for me it's my local branch. The postal clerks are nice and very friendly. Most often in and out very quickly. The only thing is the number on every website for this location is WRONG. The phone number is 314-353-1978 if you have any questions or concerns. Took me ages to get ahold of this and had to call the post office help line to find it. read more

I go to the post office 3 to 4 times a week. I mail a lot of packages for my business and I'm always running out of stamps and post cards. This place is tiny. I found that I can get out faster at this location then a few others in the South Side. The front of the building is boarded up, I haven't asked, but I'm guessing Grandpa or Grandma forgot to brake. Most of the time, pretty poor overall. They have lost packages for 1-2 months after reporting delivered. Multiple calls to this location for weeks trying to figure out what happened, including representatives deliberately hanging up on me (and hanging up again when I call back). Ultimately, in this particular example, package was at the post office the whole time, but they couldn't find it and insisted it was delivered. When they finally find it, I requested they redeliver. They claimed they attempted to redeliver 3x, but I'm certain no attempts were made, as I was home and heard no knocks/doorbell. They didn't leave a note that they attempted to deliver and would redeliver. It ends up back at the Post Office, where I have to go pick it up over 2 months after it should have been delivered. The box looks like they had been using it for football practice for the 2 months they were jerking around. They also frequently misdeliver / lose my mail. This has been an ongoing problem for years. This is why I often opt to use UPS to have packages shipped to me even if it costs more. read more

Old white guy with old marks on his face is rude as fuck. Didn't explain anything correctly to me. He just wanted me out of his face bc I was the last person at the office. Truly disgraceful. I will say the black guy was wonderful and very helpful. I worked with him before and when the old guy was rude he looked at me like sorry u have to deal with this rude ass. If u see him wait for the next guy. Only reason I'm giving an extra star is bc of the black guy that was very sweet. read more

Mail is sometimes not delivered for days. Packages disappear. Packages report being out for delivery but no package and no little slip saying an attempt was made are left. It is very frustrating. read more

This post office stinks, our whole apartment building did not receive mail for about a week and a half. Every time we would call they would tell us they sent a courier out, maybe we really did not get mail, which is a little farfetched for a building that have 5 different apartments. It wasn't until we happened to catch the mail man that we found out they lost the key to the front door of the building and did not know how to get in. That is extremely unprofessional, they should have informed us and left a note. read more
