What can I say, it's a small postal office located conveniently on Leland Ave. The next closest post office is probably San Bruno Ave. This place has friendly staff and usually has one to two clerks depending if it gets busy. Having a post office in your neighborhood conveniently is a plus. This location has several different size flat rate priority boxes to use to ship. They also have PO Boxes to rent and do money orders. And sell stamps of course! Overall, nice place and it even opens on Saturdays at a certain time. -Parking- Parking can be hard and it's usually meter spots. There is a white curb marked in front of the postal office if you are just dropping letters in the box. In/out quick style should b ok!

    Keep smiling

I visit this post office at around lunch time and the line is reasonably short, never have lost any of my packages, 5 stars, A++ rating.

Perhaps its due to the location of this post office, the parking is easy enough and the wait time to pick up a package is reasonable

I saw first hand why everyone says there is horrible service. USPS needs to pay for better employees.

I hope this is for the right post office I live on Winfield and had a small package to mail postage…read morepaid- it didn't fit in the mailboxes that are secured these days. I saw a carrier at the bottom of Winfield and he was amazing! As busy as this guy is- he took the time to answer my question. I asked if they still pick up outgoing mail from residences these days and we both kind of laughed at the change in the times. He asked where I lived and said "sure he would do that for me". He certainly didn't have to do that- I'm certain many would have just directed me to the post office on 29th street or even waived me off before I got to the question. I'm sure delivering mail on foot isn't an easy job especially considering all the variables. These men and women do it faithfully in spite of ongoing challenges and this particular carrier- who I'm hoping will read this and remember our interaction- went above and beyond. I taped the small item to our mail slot (on the garage like many others) with a note thanking him. I was a little nervous until I saw the item was scanned and tracking. THANK YOU DO MUCH sir- please know your kindness and professionalism make a huge difference and today even several days later, I'm still thinking about it and smiling. Simple kindness especially these days- has a profound uplifting effect and every person like this guy, who do things the way he did, makes me want to emulate and carry that spirit to others. I just want you to know the effect was much more than convenience- it was confirmation that good hardworking and kind people are still in the world and it reflects very well on the postal service! I'm sure you'll be rewarded for being the person you are - thanks again!!

She referred me to the postmaster Manu at 16th and Bryant, a schlep away on foot or public transport. Btw, his office number rings busy incessantly and wasn't available to talk to me in person, or he's on a perpetual break, at lunch or in a meeting In the past, the post office doors closed during lunch for apparently lack of employees. Most of us who use take our lunch breaks to post items, were shit out of luck. Lafonza Butler's office and legislative aids were no help but hopefully Alex Padilla's legislative Aide is better. I don't recommend this office at all. You'll wait on line for more than 30 minutes when only one clerk is working. The Asian clerk on the weekend asked me to get her change for a $10 last summer. Although sweet, she made me smh.
