I work in Santa fe Springs, I ordered a shirt from a company in SANTA FE SPRINGS, it was shipped to me FROM the post office in Santa Fe Springs.. smh... Lord, If this is not the most dumbest shit... So I ordered and it was tracking fine--Then it stopped... Day 1 , I wait, Day 2 I wait.. Day 3 humm, why has it not moved...Day 4 - I call the P.O ..........It has now been 78 days..........I got a letter saying we still cant find ya shit.!! Not shirt but SHIT !! Cause it feels like my shirt is shit to them...... Explain to me how in the FUCK ....We( all 3 companies) are all within 3 miles of one another.......... all 3 companies are IN Santa fe springs... how is it lost ? WTF ? we are all in the same city......I am so lost...I can't ! this is the stupidest shit EVER .........All i want is my 25.00 shirt AND they said BTW nope you cant get a refund cause I didn't get insurance. Lord help me.....What in the actual fuck ! The company actually let me stop by and pick up my shirt after it told her what happen..but that is not the point. I was told that a package, starts in SFS, goes to city of industry from SFS, than back to SFS then to me..... So you mean to tell me that. I am in SFS and the package leaves the city- i am in, to ANOTHER city to come back to the SAME CITY ! TO GET DELIVERED ? 1st time to this post office. I needed to mail a letter with a lot of pictures ( about20 4x6 ) regular 1t class mail to Northern Cal. so it needed to be weighed. So I weighed it at home it was about 4.3 ounces on my scale and it was the same there. It cost $1.84 and I was in there just before closing time on a Tuesday. In at 4:30 out at 4:34 I'd seen good reviews on Yelp and I agree with just about everyone of them. I had clerk # 14 aka Alida and even though it was closing time she still had a smile and great attitude. This is the best post office around the surrounding cities! I live in Downey and the main Post Office here on Firestone is a complete disaster that is why I drive to the Santa Fe Springs Post office. We used the pass port service and wow...they are organized, speedy and with good attitudes. Their was about 8 people ahead of me and I was in and out in less then 40 minutes. They actually come out and work the lines which is nice for those people who only have one transaction. Thank you to all the employees that work so hard here and to management who obviously cares about customer service and people in general. Great job! read more

I have been to many post offices that have the standard greetings, long lines, the stench of the building's age and some what of a depressing feeling due to the lighting atmosphere. All of the above mentioned will not be seen or felt in this Post office. The greetings from Mr. Daryl is above the standard good morning, his attitude toward customer care was beyond expectation. I arrived at such a good time because there was no one in line. This post office is surrounded by plants and trees so there's a sense of a good atmosphere. Pretty well lit compared to the other post offices. Which makes you feel alive and energetic. I was recommended to this place for passport processing. It was done so quick and was processed within minutes. Never have I met someone whose great attitude resembled one of a role models. He's attitude was so positive, that i truly had an amazing day because of him. Great attitudes are contagious. read more

Excellent customer service and a breath of fresh air. They allow walk up service with regards to passport processing. I was there this morning at 9:45. Passport services start at 10 AM. They saw my need and said no one else was in line so they took me early. How refreshing! Darrell was in charge and very knowledgeable about the process. He put me at ease and even got me to laugh at myself. Took care of the whole process in about 10 minutes or less. If you look at other postings, they are consistent with this location. This office is a good one and deserves to be visited. Don't go to the Downey office on Firestone, their service is horrible. Come to the Santa Fe Springs office and you will be very pleased. read more

I went to paramount post office to get a passport only to find out you needed to be there an hour and half before they opened to get a number. By the time I got there at 945 (they open at 930) they had run out of numbers. I went to Santa Fe springs postal office and what a difference. I was out of there in less than an hour. No appt needed and no numbers. Customer service was awesome. read more

Frank is amazing! Dude knows what he's doing. This was the 4th post office my boyfriend & I went to. They had extra passport copies out (renewals/new applicants). He was the coolest & most efficient employee we ran into out of 3 other USPS. I'm sure it gets busy & sometimes it's not your day, but he wasn't rude or mean to us. I've never done a passport renewal outside of an embassy so this was kind of strange for me. I never knew the system was so outdated and weird. You'd think with something as sensitive as your passport we'd have a better system by now. Anyway, looked up all the services and offices, this one seemed to be the best and it was! went in around noon. Absolutely NO line, they helped me with my paperwork and photos, making sure everything was in order. The friendly gentleman taking my picture took a couple for me and let me choose the one I liked and the lady helping me with payments even waited patiently while I checked to make sure my checks were still live. They don't take credit payments like I hoped they would but Still an awesome helpful service. read more

This is my third visit here to this post office, every time I come the service is friendly, the staff is smiling and personable. The man who works here with glasses always ends up helping me and he is super friendly! I thought it was just him but today I saw an older Asian woman, a Hispanic woman and an African American woman and they were ALL so helpful and polite to customers. Usually you see grumpy mail workers but this staff is way different. I went to the Fountain Valley location with my boyfriend a month ago and everyone there seemed like they hated each other and their jobs, serious and catty with one another lol. This staff does a great job, I get fast service here even when there is a huge line during lunch hour they work hard to get things moving. To my surprise they only help residents of Santa Fe Springs get passports. I thought as a U S citizen I could use any post office for services. No not according to the rude post office employee who answered the phone. Also I need to make an appointment o yeah and in person. What hell is happening to customer service hear . I'm sure their post master knows this. What a shame government employees just don't care and that's why the Us post office is loosing so much money because of employees who don't give a #×!+ about their job . Passport hours are till 3pm we got here before 3pm and the girl working there says it ends at 2pm? Customer service is horrible. I don't recommend anyone to come here because that same girl had told us last time it ends at 3pm. She just didn't want to do her job. She should be fired. I would give 0 stars if I could read more

I'm glad i came here. Downtown long beach post office sucks. But coming here was easy and quick. Daryl was nice he did his job quickly but didn't rush anyone. He even took us early, the passport office wasn't open till 10 but he took my application at around 9:30 and i was out of there at around 9:48. quick, easy, and they were not rude here. Came in to take care of the passport process. I was assisted by Frank and his level of service was impeccable. I had a unique experience with my previous passport and he was able to answer it to the best of his ability, given that it is a very unique situation. Waited about 20 mins to be helped since they were short staffed. Frank constantly apologized for the delay. His level of service made me forget that I waited 20 mins. This Post Office has the best service by far from all the other Post Offices I've visited in my life. Went to the Norwalk PO around noon to get my passport Applications processed for me and the fam but they only do them until 10 am, but there is a note that on a door advising you about the SFS office. Upon arrival we were greeted by Darryl and he knew exactly what we were there for. Darryl was great to work with, very funny and on top of everything. He got us in and out of there as quickly as possible. He has the best attitude I have ever encountered from a Post Office employee. This is not your typical post office. They were very friendly from the minute we arrived, despite a line. We were helped with our passport application process in a timely manner. Daryl is the best! No question was a dumb question, and he was very patient with us as he walked us through the process. At approximately 12:20 pm the post office truck (truck#0218322) pulled up in my area to deliver mail. At about 12:45 pm I looked out my window and the lady was still sitting in her truck with her cell phone in hand. For 25 minutes she was just sitting in her truck in which during that time deliver the mail. Finally at 12:50 pm she came out of her truck, and headed towards the back of the vehicle to sort the mail and retrieve to start her delivery. Daryl is probably the only government employee that deserves every single penny of his salary, great customer service, without him I'd definitely consider this place 1 star. It's big and plenty of PO boxes, Po box lobby open 24/7... Busy time is from 11-11:30 am. The lines get long during that time, I understand places get busy but if u peek in the back you can see managers sitting down with no urgency (managers help the line by assisting with pickups) ... Long lines are a consistent problem, they need to improve on their shifting for this time frame. read more

I regularly come in and they recognize me and its just super friendly and I actually enjoy sending out my online stores packages here. Wouldn't go anywhere else. Fast, ubber friendly, and organized.
