This Post Office is the worst! They lost my package and it took them days to even bother to look…read morefor it. It's a small place, so it shouldn't have taken long. Their attitude was clearly "I can't be bothered." To top it off, they said they would report back to me about whether or not they found the package, but they never did. To add insult to injury, they are not accountable at all for their negligence -- there is a record that the package was delivered there and it was either lost or stolen, but they are not required to provide reimbursement. This is unacceptable!

There are better places to go to die than to go there and die in unsanitary conditions from neglect sleeping in your own urine because you are immobile. Read all the negative reviews. Those reviews are horrific and unfortunately extremely accurate. I read every one. If you love someone or care at all - look elsewhere. Animals in the animal shelter get better care. We had to call 911. Thank God Greenport hospital saved our loved one who is now doing well. I don't think she would have lasted another 24 hours. I wish i took pictures but I and the rest of her family were distraught.

The night crew between 11 pm and 7 am is practically non-existent-- you ring the bell endlessly and when they do come they are half-asleep and often surly. I happened to have worked in healthcare for 30 years and now found myself as a patient at the mercy of these nurses and aides. As I said, the 11 pm to 7 am shift is useless.The daytime nurses were very professional and the daytime and 8 am to 11 pm aides deserve a big raise for sure. They are all dedicated professionals. As far as housekeeping goes the floor in my room was swept every day but never mopped. The bathroom was unsanitary at times and toilet was caked with feces and the wall splattered with it. The people in charge were made aware of my concerns and were equally frustrated in finding resolution. The government has got to take a longer look at what is happening to our healthcare system since Covid and come up with a solution.My concerns are not going to stop here. I'm going to continue to write every congressman and senator until something is done. I happened to be in a high-rated place but what about the others? For the love of God, help make the last days of these peoples' lives more tolerable and give them some dignity, This is the richest nation on Earth. We need to stop the elder abuse And neglect.
